Reloadingforever.

Bumped into some Russian host, the whole match was like firing 5-shot raider and then stuck in reloading animation for full 10 seconds (need reloading even after using MM), also I got -1 missiles for unknown reason.

Yeah I have had a similar experience. It was an Unknown/Unknown/Plat PUG game but host was from Russia. Game literally felt like Lag Effect 3 instead of Mass Effect 3. Barely got through wave 10 objectives and during wave 11 I would exit cover and make a run for extraction and few seconds later I would get space magically teleported back in cover. Happened literally four times and I missed the extraction.

 

First thing after leaving that lobby I added the host's name to my origin block list which is working as intended i.e showing up empty.

This post probably belongs in the "those BSNers you bump into in pugs" thread but because I'm so damn terrible with names I'll post it here. 3 rounds of complete and utter destruction, freaking yard sale, chit all over the floor. Definitely fastest pugs I've played in recent memory. Not to mention everyone helping with objectives and just great teamwork all around. Also +1 for melees in b/w waves.

Refreshing, just did a UUP (Wound up geth/fbw) as an HMA with Valiant, with a Fury(host) and a decent juggernaut that dropped in mid game. Very fun. Lots of booms.

I think my comeback is over before I even got properly started. All I see are TGIs with the Harrier, AIUs with the Reegar, Juggs with whatever and the occasional, but biggest cheese grater of them all - the Trooper with Acolyte. Meanwhile I'm trying to make a point by using stuff like the Scimitar and the Raptor in gold, still outscoring the PUGs, just to show that it can be done. Thing is, I used to love PUGs because of the crazy setups you would see and because games with communicating players become ridiculous speed runs. I loved to carry PUGs to credit heaven. Yes, I'm an elitist ****** who becomes teary-eyed with nostalgia when thinking about the good old days when we just had the balanced vanilla kits. #OGKrogansDrellSalarianandTurians4ever #Harrier&Hurricanehate #Anti-Flamer&SnapFreezeclub #LOLmatrix&stimpacks #ROFLstompGrenadecapacitymapnuking

 

Had to get that out of my system, lol. I'll see myself out. Hopefully ME4s multiplayer will strike a perfect balance (until the first DLC, probably).

Sounds a lot like confirmation bias to me, since I play multiple platforms and on all of them I see a huge variety of kits.

 

And even if you do see those kits, why would it bother you? The maps are all big enough that you don't have to stand next to them.

I see all kinds of crazy kits, all the time. Sure, now and then you see something cheesy but that's just one time and at least it is effective. Certaintly better than the lvl8 Fury with the Striker I, rocking Disruptor Ammo I and a Shotgun Amp.

On some days, I'll take a back seat and let the others do the most running.   I'll mostly stake out a nice spot for the camp; fire and water.   Food comes my way occasionally, whether they glide or thumped along on two and four legs. Some of the low to no equipped pugs know how to use their skills to their best effect and they racked up a very nice reasonable amount of hides to show for it. And that's what happened tonight. Two gold matches with Cerberus and Collectors with two different pugs. A very nice surprise.

Just played a match where the lag was so bad, I actually lost time. A banshee went from across the map to putting her arm through my chest in the blink of an eye. Or maybe the host set it to Extreme Platinum without me noticing.

On Jade with Reapers on gold. Banshee was coming at me, with mobs flooding the lower level (the other three were all upstairs), I went to the upper level. I ran past this guy who then complained the banshee was led to him.   As if I could control where she was biotic jumping, it's up to the players to pay attention when they hear the shriek but he didn't and was taken out.

 

In the last wave, he decided he wanted to be safe so he camped out below the evac spot. I didn't know he was there so again, while evading the banshees, I ran past his camping spot. F**** he said, you did it again. You lead the banshee to me, he complained. I thought he was pathetic, he could run, find a safer spot to hide (ostrich-with-head-in-the-sand) in if he wasn't even going to bother to shoot. He went F**** again when I ran past his camp another time. He couldn't even read the situation; it's everyone out with everything, missiles, whatever, not hiding.

 

Am I sorry I 'lead' the banshees to him, Heck no. *rolleyes*

 

On an off note, there were occasions when players ran past my position, bringing reapers and whatever right up. Sometimes I die, sometimes I kick the mobs/ And I times, I did think; they brought the mobs to me. But then, it's up to me to pay attention to what's going on.

Took a Geth Juggernaut through some silvers to finish off both Geth Spitfire challenges and the assault rifle medals challenge, which would clear assault rifle mastery and reckoning mastery. Used Cryo since I have a lot of that left.

 

It was pretty fun, though I was getting worried about my left mouse button from holding down the firing key for such a long time. The cryo would freeze an unarmored target and that would let me finish it off. Melting and shattering commenced.

 

Claymoar!

 

AIU + Claymoar is rather fun, though my aim is sometimes off. The damage barrel + smartchoke + AP ammo works pretty well.

 

Edit: Another Infiltrators! match. Word for it is: Whyyyyyyyyy.....

 

3 infiltrators, 2 shadows, 1 huntress and my demolisher. Geth Goddess Silver.

 

They died throughout the match, I ended up dying a lot in wave 9 because I tried to help them and got caught in a stunlock chain, but I managed to get through it. Wave 10 was devices but none of them tried to grab any of them.

Same bunch, one of the Shadows switched to a Destroyer. Collectors Ghost Silver.

 

Well, we extracted at least.

 

Tried switching to a Shadow but the host left after that match ended. Oh well.

BULLS**T!!!

 

Not the usual BS like Geth stunlock or Praetorian wall-piercing buttlazers.  No, this was 2 players going back and forth on a mic talking complete and total BS bragging.  One was a newer kid who was just learning the game (and should not have been on Gold) and the other was an older guy who was giving this kid sometimes-accurate "pointers" about the game.  

 

The older one was saying things like he "usually plays Platinum" and "soloed Gold about 15 times and can almost solo Platinum."  He scored less than 100k in an U/U/G match with an AIU with Piranha X.  And that was with me detonating his Cryo Explosions all game long.  He was an OK player, way better than your average Gold PUG, but I'd be shocked if he had soloed Gold once with anything other than Kroguard/Geth or maybe the Acolyte-Trooper.

 

The younger one was saying things like he "mostly plays Gold" and "usually scores around 150k on Platinum."  He scored just over 30k in a full Gold game.  With a Flamer Trooper.  Against Reapers.

 

They were decent teammates otherwise - they both did objectives and would go out of their way to revive you.  The kid never sprayed Flamer in your face (although that was partially because he carried 2 weapons with probably a -150% cooldown, so he didn't have a chance).  They were just full of BS.  This was one of the 1st times I have actually been disappointed that I haven't replaced my broken mic.

Especially one with a batSol (Na nanana nana nanananannananna BatSol!) and his Crusader loaded with cryo. The pimphand flows strong vs reapers.

A dominating geth eng: I soloed wave 9 and 10 again vs reapers... and it was great. 

I stayed for the lulz: turian sol with lancer in vancouver. I pwnd a geth inf with botb and Javelin... jeez... someone stop me!
