She is a beast no matter what, but give her Raider and Valkyrie becomes an unholy juggernaut of destruction :) Lag does horrible things to her, but as long as their is shielded/barriered mook in the crowd, she needs never go down.

Just don't shame her by giving her Reegar. She might be more deadly with it, but that's seriously not cool.

Glad to see you're having fun with her. She is my favourite. Sure, she takes a lot of skill to master, but once you get into the rhythm, everything before her melts!

I always liked her powers combination, and I knew she is capable of... unspeakable things, but to finally see it happen... it was a thing of beauty. The game I was referring to was actually laggy enough that I could often shoot three shots per clip, but I found it manageable. I tend to stay away from the Reegar, because I find it makes pug teams unravel (who wants to stick around someone melting stuff that fast), so no worries there; I have had fun using a piranha before.

A versatile kit overall, but what I like most is that it needs to stay mobile to truly shine: sure you can take down Scions fast, but you still can't go toe-to-toe with one, so you have to use the battlefield's layout to your advantage.

I suspect she sits close to the top of lists of favourite kits for many players! :)

Screenshake.

Platinum Rio. Geth with a side order of Cerbies and Reapers. Two of the squad were a Demolisher/Shadow tag team who did almost nothing but sit at the very back in the shipping containers and spam Arc Nades / Electric Slash. Thank god I brought the Paladin and we had a VolSent who knew what he was doing, or that game might have taken hours. As it was, it took 41 minutes and Wave 10 Pizzas made me want to punch a giggling baby.

Fortunately, the Demolisher and Shadow made excellent Banshee bait.

Potatoheads

Grabbed my Vanilla Asari Adept for some U/U/G, dropped into a Hazard Dagger Reapers in progress on Wave 2.  Wave 3 was pizza, everyone else promptly died and bled out.  Would have been a wipe if I hadn't arrived just in time to save them.  By the end of Wave 3, after soloing it for them, I had the highest score on the board, and I joined in progress.

Start of Wave 4, the host left.  Predictably, he was the one who HAD had the highest score, until I arrived and showed him up.

Wave 5, we are joined by an AIU.

Wave 6 was devices.  The first device is right smack in the middle, with Marauders and Ravagers and Banshees and Brutes wrecking their particular brand of havoc in that area.  Let's see, we've got 2 Asari Adepts, 1 N7 Fury, and an AIU.  2 full minutes have passed and the first device has still not been activated.  Not that 3 of us weren't trying... can you guess which 3?

While the squishey Adepts were repeatedly revive chaining each other trying to activate that first device, the AIU was happily running around Snap Freezing all the things.  I took a step back and observed the field, and saw him cloak before Snap Freezing.  I turned the mic on and started a dialogue.

SMR: "Oh so he DOES have Cloak.  I was starting to wonder."

AIU: "Who was starting to wonder??"

SMR: "It might be helpful for you to Cloak and activate the device, rather than letting us keep going down trying and failing to do so."

AIU:  "I WOULD do that, but my Cloak isn't specced for duration."

SMR:  "Doesn't matter.  You'll be halfway done by the time it wears off, and everything will still be looking at us anyway."

AIU:  "Oh, I'll do that then."

SMR:  "THAT'S going on the BSN later..."

Wave 10 was Escort, I whipped out the Missiles and blasted all that I had left at anything and everything that got in the way.

Saddest part is, he and I were the only 2 to extract, and he was the 2nd highest scorer.  Don't forget, he didn't even join until Wave 5.

Most people who pug AIU are douchebags and terrible teammates. Before anyone gets upset, no, I am not saying that playing AIU means you're a jerk, and I'm not saying that not playing AIU absolves a person of being called out on douchebaggery. But the reality is that most AIUs are scorewhores and don't do objectives, and their constant running about the map by themselves screws up spawns, which against an enemy like Geth on Platinum is just...awful.

I like screwing up the spawns. It's interesting. Having an elbow stagger materialize out of thin air is good every now and then.

GethLove and Huskmod

I was up to my gills with geth in a series of gold matches guest starring...geth. I have a tendency to move on rather stay with a particular group so I was not too thrilled mingling so much with geth one after another. Some of the matches I suspect was already preset with geth as adversaries due to the composition of the players who couldn't take them down fast enough. They thought geth was the easiest until they were smacked by a GRT supposedly staggered and yet loose two rockets within a sec. Followed that up by its two other pals nearby and down for the count you go.

For a finale, in what was supposed to be a gold match with Cerberus. I found myself surrounded by a welcoming party of no less than 10 husks in wave 1. It screams of MODs! I left immediately with no lose to equipment. <_<

OfCourse:

Haven't played my 6/6/6/6/0 Typhoon Destroyer in a while, so woke him up and searched for a U/U/G that I don't even remember what it was.  The game ended with full extraction and all four players within a 10k range.  Back in the lobby, it was obvious we had an excellent team assembled, so it didn't surprise me at all when the next game gave me the black screen "Waiting for other players..."  I exited out, brought up my recent players list, and rejoined the game.  Apparently it had affected the entire group, because upon my return the host was the only member still present.  No one else ever joined and it ended up being a London/Geth/Gold duo.  ShotKnightMike was the Juggernaut and I was the Salarian Infiltrator, so the game went amazingly well, ending in full extraction.

DutchRage:

Was it Dutch?  It sounded vaguely like German but I wasn't sure.  Searched a U/U/G that turned out to be Cerberus/Hazard Reactor/Gold.  The guy on the mic kept screaming and swearing in some foreign language every time he went down.  He did know a selection of English words, such as f*ck, bullshit, and come on, so it was an entertaining monologue.  I did my part to perpetuate the game's entertainment by cooking him in the reactor several times.

Back in the lobby, it turned out that he was the host, and Hazard Reactor was his preset!  Everyone stayed for another game and he got cooked another 6 times.

ShutTheHellUp:

Dropped into a U/U/G with some girl who loved to talk about herself, to some guy who loved to listen to her.  He lived in another country, and she had a boyfriend, this didn't stop him from making weak flirt attempts, which she ignored.  Unfortunately I didn't have a Hazard Reactor handy this time.

Pull Justicar  -_-

So a N7 5000+ Justicar joined my lobby. I'm thinking, cool, imma switch to my boy Smashguard, it's gonna be amazing. No matter who's it gonna be - massive pain and wreckage will ensue. Game starts and it's Geth Jade.

Prepare you cheating toasters! You're gonna get your asses whooped! Nope. Justicar spams Pull all day. On shields, on armor. No acolyte to strip those shields, just pull.

He/She did use Reave on one of the Primes and we immediately rekt it in a couple of Smash cycles, so technically the person had Reave.

It was no fun and I'm dissapoint.  <_< Good thing one Turian Sentinel was competent.

SmashJug

Popped into a plat Cerberus on my jug. The host was the smashguard, I think, and there was a geth infil. A fourth joined some time later but the smashguard and I ended up mopping up everything with the other two flitting around like ghosts and doing what they could with their weapons.

DillyDallying

Took out my asari adept and became impatient when the other three seemed to be just sitting in the lobby. After several attempts to find a gold match, I dropped in a Cerberus match, and three familiar names that were  immobile earlier. I was vastly amused, well flattered, when one of them hailed my appearance. Saviour. Yeah right, I'm not really that good, you bums. :P  They keep dropping and I keep mopping up. But they were trying and racked up great points. Everyone made it out at the last wave.  :)

Scorewhoring.

I thought it might be nice to try and finally complete some weapon challenges I had been neglecting, and then I got stuck with a Jugg who sprayed his Adas all over the place and didn't play objectives.

Two-manning with one scorewhore wouldn't be so bad, but then we were joined by a GI and his hyperspeed Widow reload-cancels. I just AFK'd the last few waves and denied them a full extraction, as if it mattered.

Biotic-backhand-boom-squad

My SI/Mantis was left alone on Dagger/Hazard/CerBS after host migration. so I nope'd (read: bleed) out and searched again. Dropped into a lobby preset for Geth/Glacier and a Kroguard and Fury already waiting. Alright, combat mastery is about to be finished, I'll take ma Kroguard and let's smash some light bulb heads. We got a Valkyrie as well and off we go.

It was fantastic.

Constant priming by AF, Warp and DC, permanent biotic charging, never ending slapping and head butting. Nuking double primes? Mrahaahaaww - never!

Lag was massive, but so was fun. 16 minutes later two Krogans and their girls went home...

Miraculous

Figured I'd try this Hate Surfing thing I've seen and read about, but never done before.  Specced out a Batarian Vanguard and searched for a U/U/G, with only a Disciple, an Omni-Blade, and my own hate to propell me forward.

I dropped into Hazard Ghost Collectors.  The absolute WORST CASE SCENARIO for a Hate Surfing Batarian Vanguard.

Wave 1, two people died and got stomped... one of them being the host.  After waiting through the obligatory host migration, I was the only person still in the game.  A new pug member joined right away, followed by one of the original members, who dropped back into the same game he'd just ragequit from.  Rofl!

I didn't take anything seriously after that, and charged anything and everything with wreckless abandon!  Double Praetorians or a pair of Scions?  No problem!  I charged!  I punched!  Praetorians were staggering left and right!  I got grabbed!  I got dropped!  I deftly darted in and out of Scion melee, only to charge right back into their faces once again!  Seeker Swarms were exploding all around me!  On-Host Ops packs don't fail me now!  I was soaking wet!  The guys in the hack at the far end of the map stood there in awe and dumbfoundation as I single-handedly soloed the entire Wave 6 enemy forces at the top of the LZ!  There was just no stopping me!

Although I came in 2nd place on the scoreboard after Wave 11, I was happy to note that I was the top score of people who actually survived.

I probably won't do this in a pug again though.  Well maybe.

The Batguard is awesome for pugging.  Dat melee + blade armour + vanguard charge DR....

I've stood in the rain of Hazard Ghost, with rocket troopers and primes unloading on me, with absolutely no sh*ts given, because I was falcon punching away.  of course, once the animation ended or I got staggered, it was pretty hideous....but otherwise, he can only be stopped by lag and sync-kills.

Plat Splat!

Had several games on Wii U and I'm pretty much spent.  Started out as a silver with one player then my usual buddies hijacked the lobby and we went to gold and then platinum.  One of my buddies remained and we did a platinum duo until wave 9 when an N7 1 player joined in and hung around for some EXP and credits.

I am speeeeeent!

Bot.

Ran into a cheater using a bot.  It's been a while.  I noticed this PUG who joined the GIP using the Kishock.  Strange movement pattern and never taking cover.  He was also moving continuously, stopping only for a split-second to fire.  Initially, I thought he was really good but after a while ... hey, nobody can aim that fast all the time.  I then followed him around and stepped in front of him.  Without missing a beat, he side-stepped aimed and fired.  I continued to entertain him with head-butts to the face while he kept trying to move around me and firing.  Eventually, he ran out of ammo and went to the ammo box.  All this time, not a single return melee or missile to the face from him or pause in his movement except when firing.

Added his name to my blacklist.

Thanks Mammal, Balbock and Marksmad.

Enjoyed the game.

Although my luck dictated we'd get Cerberus at least it wasn't Glacier Hazard.

With a touch of sandstorm and a dose of whiteout.

And a smidgen of acid rain for good measure    :crying:

Terrible.

If Second Place is a Krysae user... with a little over 1/3 of the points of 1st place... 3rd and 4th, what are your excuses?

1st: BatSol w/ hurricane (Me, nearly tripled  2nd)
2nd: VorSet w/ Krysae (scored like double 3rd)
3rd: Turian Saboteur w/ Typhoon
4th: BatGuard w/ ???? (got so few kills, I never managed to see!)

We were all in the game from wave 1. I joined in progress and the saboteur was already bled out. Good sign? *sigh*

Only reason I didn't get my 15 revives medal was because I said "screw this, gonna clutch" when they were tripping over themselves like idiots trying to get one another up. It was like the fastest-climaxing circle-jerk in the star cluster, or something. Up. Down. Up. Down. Always getting someone else up just to go down again.

Closed the reactor, pug did not get locked in.
Pug laughs and taunts, "you could try all you want, you'll never get me!"
I proceed to lock him in 3 times afterwards.
