Fail.
Massive fail. (Those Bronze games afterwards don't count. I played with a couple of BotB guys. My first thought was why the hell are you in Bronze? My second thought was, oh, probably tired of failing with pugs like I am. Also, I'm totally out of gel and ops packs, wtf?)
Popped into a lobby set to Vancouver/Reapers. One guy's a juggy. One guy's a BF3 soldier. One guy's a geth trooper. I'm a fury. I can't clutch with her. Not on a map like Vancouver. I figure this won't end well. It doesn't. Juggy doesn't use siege pulse, he's heavy meleeing eveyrthing like a BAWS. Trooper's not flaming, BF3 guy's not... whatever he does. I run around trying to asplode ALL the things. They go down, I try to play MEDIC! but you know how that is.
We wipe and I make the mistake of doing it again. Moral; always listen to your gut.

Part of the reason why I don't PUG too much, and am constantly looking to get games in with friends, is because I don't enjoy dealing with stupid people. 75% of PUGs that I have joined have either had a) Someone trying to tell everyone what to do or 
People who die and bleed out every single wave and then try to criticize how you play or c) Both A and B
Oh well, my block list grows with every other match, so it's all good.

I opened the menu several times and nearly hit quit mission. But I stayed because irritating jerks like that gives me some primal sense of joy. I purposely stopped killing things. I purposely let myself get overrun. I purposely stayed alive until the very last second just to give him hope, only to have it get snuffed out.

fine.
Trying to improve with Slayer so i took him to silver (yes, lolsilver). I did most of the objectives on waves 6 and 10 (device deactivate and pizza) but thats fine, they occasionally watched my back and did keep the enemy occupied, and i think they helped on wave 3. No one died too much.

I have a 1100w UPS for my HTPC, and my router and modem are on it as well. My office PC that I play on is hardwired to the router and has its own UPS. The office UPS is cheapo, so I have my monitor on hard power so that I don't overload the UPS and have a failure. This led to 5 moments of my last pug where I was playing as a blind man, only sense of sound to guide me. This was entertaining and difficult.
I was playing the new Gold Challenge Solo Justicar/Disciple build. My Pinball Wizard Justicar did fine though
EDIT: This was a pug, not a solo. Just leveling up to 20 so that I can go for good time. Disciple has really surprised me this time around, in a positive way. More stagger than I remember....

I showed up in the middle of a Wave 3 Rio centre hack with all three teammates down.
We extracted. Which actually surprised me, a little, since I never did figure out if they were out of gels, or just never used them in the first place.

1) near-perfect. Got reapers FBW hazard. Was all good, except that twice i tried to pull out rockets, got glitched and ended up sync killed, second time was during wave ten hack, 2nd player also sync killed so last 2 players had to finish hack and the wave alone, but we all extracted so all good.
2) Near-perfect. Reapers London. Wave ten was a distinctly unpleasant drone escort. Twice i tried pulling rocket out and ended up wasting op packs but other than that, was v good match. One guy scored ridiculously low, like 30k, me and 2nd person nearly tied on 80k, leader was batarian soldier with 130k.
3) Meh. I was kroguard, we got geth vancouver, i died too many times. Slightly annoyed that people didnt bother to res me when i made an effort to save them, and didnt bother using rockets to wipe out Geth Prime assassinations. But otherwise not too bad, there was an EDI bot who effortlessly outscored everyone.
