[Salarian Master Race]

Dropped my N7 Destroyer into a GiP with a Juggernaut... and that's it.  It was a preset Giant/Reapers/Gold, halfway through Wave 2.

 

Wave 3 we got the center hack.  As soon as the very first Banshee arrived on the scene, she promptly chased the Jug right on back to the LZ.  Ok, he's one of THOSE Jugs.

 

Wave 5, he spent the entire Wave fighting one Banshee at the bottom of the ramp.

 

Wave 6, I killed everything else, and followed along to watch the Jug solo one lone Banshee at the end of the Wave.  Banshee won.

 

I extracted on Wave 11.  I wasn't even paying attention if he did or not.

 

No one else ever joined the entire time.  I guess all of Xbox Live must have him on their Avoid List by now.

Haha...this has happened to me quite a few times. It's why when i do a "quick game" i equip consumables and ammo powers, but nothing high end just for scenarios like this....

Dropped in on a team of 3 that I guess were all friends ...Giant/Cerberus/Gold with my Evicerator Valkyrie  (yeah, I said it)   Running around blowing she-it up while they camped the LZ....Cerberus ate them alive..or really just made them dead..alot...15 Revive Medal by Wave 8 ....they would all drop right next to each other and not revive or use gel...by Wave 8 I had enough of them and  I was about to quit ( I had finished my Valkyrie/Evicerator challenge points anyway) That little voice said "Finish It"..(sounded like the Mortal Kombat announcer)  got extraction...they kicked me before I even got back to the lobby and received 9 hate mails from them saying I was a score ****** and 1st rate A-hole for not camping the LZ with them..(looked them up here...ALL of them never played Gold before..figures..).I accept the A-Hole comment but score ******?? Me?

This is why I auto-quit any GiP I land in - just on the off chance that one of the players is that type of player.  Seem to be seeing more of them lately.

 

On a more positive note:

Their names are forgotten already, but the PUGs I landed with yesterday on White vs. Cerberus were all pretty decent.  A Jugg who wasn't afraid to use siege pulse but didn't spam it constantly, either; a Shadow who chose shadow strike targets judiciously and knew when to use electric slash and when not to; and a FQE who didn't forget to use the turret - all synergized quite well with my vanilla HSent with disruptor ammo + two universal detonator powers.  Much explosions, good teamwork, even scores, full extraction.

Relaxing.....

 

Dropped into a lobby with two guys that sounded like they was speaking french, but they had names that made it seem like they was Asian. I wasn't sure about the connection,(ended up being a little laggy) but these two guys played amazingly well. One guy was a Male Quarian infil (i forgot what type of sniper gun he had) and the other guy was  turian infil i believe.....both guys was shredding everything. And there was a 4th guy who was a Talon merc, but he really wasn't doing much.

 

I played like 5 straight games with this group and i came in second once when i started using AP 3 ammo on the lancer and when the host switched to a volus infil. during a reaper match....not much else to mention, just that these was some really relaxed games, due to how fast and smooth those other two guys made short work of enemies.

Magnificent.

 

I've just possibly had my best game ever across the 890 I've played. Joined a pretty strong team for a Gold game. After it, the joker lobby leader decided to switch the lobby from Gold to Plat (which I didn't notice), and that's how I've found out Asari Valkyrie is not as squishy as I expected (the reason why I haven't taken her to Platinum yet). The team was very good - another Valkyrie, Asari Adept and Talon Merc, all good players. I've died quite a few times, but was revived most of the times. Got sync-killed twice, too. Ended up with 166k points - think that's my new record. The top player had 177k.

That's right, I've had no consumables and Pistol Amp for equipment. That's not how I gear up for Platinum. I can imagine a proper build (Cyclonics, Stronghold, Warp ammo, pistol amp) holding much better. Having a strong team is the big part of tanking, though - more important than any equipment. Offense is the best defense.

You should see the guy who dropped into the platinum lobby. Level one pistol or was it shotgun, can't remember, he put in level 1 equipment but the host and I just sat there not moving when he hit his ready to go light.   We waited him out and he got the message and left. The other two slots were finally filled by better equipped players. Everyone did well and won the match.

First times with a N7 Shadow in Public Plat... I've to say, I'm impressed in how good the kit can be when played right: no wipe and extracted with medigel left...

Granted, using an executioner instead of a shotgun crippled me a little, but the sinergy of THE handcannon is mandatory for my style..

Great teams, both of the time... it was a beautiful fencing dance: groups of 3 dragoons vs little me, and I was still winning.

So, apparently I pug Gold now.  Did three as TGI with Mattock, rolled Reactor Hazard/Reapers, Vancouver/Collectors and Rio/Reapers.  Good teams, very smooth games, everyone pulled their weight.  Lots of fun.

I had a Krogan Soldier stuck in the walled off room on Glacier. No idea how he got in there but it's an indicator that I shouldn't host again. ;D

2 Harrier TGI's ...1 AIU Reegar  ..Me  Wraith SMashDept....Everytime I try'd to Smash or melee...chain overload/neural would drop them  or detonate fire/cryo splosions cheating me out of alot of Smashing....was kind of entertaining watching them all fight for grenades ...they are really good marathon runners

I think I have had a record in lag. Host was from New Zealand without ping, another player was from Hanoi with ping about 450 msec, and the third was from Eastern Siberia with ping 600 msec. Everyone teleported a lot including enemies and the host was the only one to actually being able to hit anything with power of weapon. I died randomly then was resurrected also randomly five or six times on the same spot. There was no time window in between the waves. The game just froze when the last enemy died and then started working again  when the enemies spawned. Me and the Russian player complained about lag and the host said he is hosting on satellite connection from some village in NZ. I apologized and left on wave 4.

 

I normally try to avoid this extreme lag but ME Pinger sometimes glitches, also GiP and lvl 1 consumables. I decided it might be just fine as it connected rapidly. Alas, that did not go well. I'm wondering why his Origin heartbeat does not timeout.

Cloaking and stealth heavy melee bosses from behind, also works wonders, especially for teamwork (agile tank)... I really don't understand why the shadow can't target Atlases. 

And with the Executioner, I can Shadow Strike, shoot, reload cancel with a 2nd shadow strike and do it again and again.

BUT what I like most is the beheading of abomination with heavy melee...

OK, after a saturady with 13 hours of work I want to relax and kill some stuff including headbutt to death some reapers.

 

load a Krogan soldier, UUG I got dropped on a lobby with three others: check the loadout.

 

1) N7 13... new... novaguard with crusader 1 :: for teh whole game did not nova, so he specced out of it.

2) N7 35... new... smash bro with questionable weapon (Kirsea....)

3) N7 350 with Locust X and acolite X human adept vanilla.

 

Ok, three biotic and I was still in the mood of headbutt so i switch to Krogan Adept with Wraith, get scanner and CM IV because i knew it was a train wreck...

 

We roll jade/reaper/gold.

 

First two teammate got creames wave after wave. The third one missile a banshee (twice) in wave 3 Hack...

 

I soloed 5-6-7-8-9 pretty much....

 

All objectives are pizzas and i delivered 5 out of 6 headbutting to victory.

 

highlight, was wave 8 solo, I left purposely a marauder alone and at the end of the wave I slowly (really slowly) headbutt him to oblivion....

 

 

But, during extraction i got pinned in a bad spawn (yes they started to use the f4cking missiles now) and Idropped on teh floor with 0;45 left. No big deal, one pug still alive, he will run in the other side of the map kiting the two brutes and the banshee and I will revive myself.

 

NOPE > he decided to run and revive me in teh mid of that mess, and the banshee grabbed me right there and execute me.

 

You where really helpful, NOT.

After six months in cryosleep (i.e. playing DAI SP&MP), I couldn't pull off either plat, gold or silver. In fact I couldn't even pull off bronze. Unfortunately there's no lower level to venture. After two failed solos I played a full game, and there was a Demolisher doing the Hydra map glitch on bronze. Hat's off to that.

Sounds like a normal pug game, not sure why you're complaining or writing in caps.

U/U/P. Me and two other PUGs ready up, figuring a fourth PUG will join us in-game. We load in and RNG decides to give us Condor/Cerberus. In my head I'm saying "There's no way this ends well."

 

We were sort of right about a fourth PUG joining us in-game, but not the way we expected. You see, we had maybe four or five different PUGs join, and they all got WFOP'd. All of them. And every single time one joined, a huge lag spike occurred.

 

Let's see, what else went wrong...My Black Widow had 96 shots in reserve. Every single Geth Prime was silent. Every single Banshee was silent (a blessing and a curse). No sound on objective waves.

 

On Wave 8, the two pugs and I are having some trouble. I got synced by a Phantom, and the other two were dead with no gels left. And then our savior arrived...well sort of. Another PUG joined and he got WFOP'd as well. So we were all in spectator mode just watching him stand at the LZ. But I guess he didn't register to the enemies because nobody was attacking him. So we were just sitting there, watching him at the LZ for a few minutes, and then the host finally decides to leave the game so the wave can restart.

 

Only the host didn't leave. When we loaded back in, the host was right back there with us. And the fourth PUG was not WFOP'd anymore. So we finished the last three waves with four of us, and we got full extraction.

 

One of the weirdest game's I've ever played, no doubt. Never change, Condor.

We used to be able to Shadow Strike Atlases.....but Bioware caught on to our shenanigans and stopped that from happening anymore...Would Strike, and the Atlas would take forever to turn around..So If you kept Shadow Striking it..You made the Atlas look incredibly stupid and pretty much trivialized it.
