Stagger-fest.

 

U/U/G landed me in Hydra/Geth.  The worst possible map to solo against Geth.  The fact that I was using the Batarian Vanguard did not help.  He spent half the game stumbling from cover to cover to avoid Geth rockets and Prime cannons.   There should be a law against Rocket Troopers firing 2 rockets at once.

 

Then I got devices on wave 10.  Almost rage-quit there and then.  Thought I stick it out and managed to cap 3.  Guess where was the last device?  Yup, right in the middle of the open area.  By some miracle, managed to kite everything to left side of the map and ran for the last device, praying that enough of the enemies would be blocked for just the 10 seconds I need.  Prayers were answered but I was totally drained.  Fired 2 of my remaining 4 missiles to clear the field. 

 

Spent the extraction wave cowering in a corner, hoping not to be noticed.  Made the usual last 20 seconds dash to the EZ.  Almost didn't make it when staggered by Prime cannon and Rocket Trooper cross-fire.  Thanks to a Pyro in the EZ, Biotic Charge saved the day.

 

44 mins.  Scrubby but I'll take it.

I had just unlocked the Black Widow IX and Paladin IX while spending about a million credits, so naturally, I had to test drive. Which meant using one of my precious 3 remaining Sniper III Amps.

 

It went well.

Started out awesome with FQI with Venom on FB Ghost Gold versus Reapers. Basically was kicking the hell out of the Rippaz with the team then about wave 5 started getting some weird lag spikes which got so bad by wave 9 that I couldn't tell WTF was going on. We still extracted but it was a disappointing game and I left with no medigel after that one.

Unexpected.

 

Condor/Gold/Reapers. It took me two waves to realize the other three pugs were camping the landing zone. Hesitatingly, I joined them, mostly out of curiosity. Human Vanguard, QFI (me), demolisher and geth engineer... never thought it would end well, but we managed full extraction, and even using few consumables. Good players, fun, different game, and today I learned a new strategy.

Platinum, Reapers on Rio.  We got that awful centre hack. I was the last one standing and even kited the enemies successfully a couple of times before running back to the circle, but couldn't get it done because those damn Primes just pounded the hell out of me.  

 

So close to getting it done too.

Havoc

In honor of lucky star I played a bunch of games with the havoc, with a terrible build that puts full points into strike and cryo but only 4 ranks in fitness and stim.

Shocking, I know. But I was humbled; I only scored 70k points total, and I'm usually that tryhard clutcher.

 

Definitely a positive experience overall.

Found good PUGS. But not only a good PUG! A brethren!

We challenged collector and Cerberus, changing every time class and character.

We rocked giant as vanilla soldier and cabal, we headbutted glory on Vancouver vs collector as Krogan sentinels, and we landed on Goddess, as Krolord with big hammers vs puny Cerberus.

No prey was too small, no battle too bloody: we gorged on blood and kills, honoring ancient rites and traditions. It was beautiful...

Then he left, and I stayed...

I've no problem with any kits: you can play what you enjoy most. But if you play AIU with Reegar, why, o why, Jezuz frigging Krishna, you shadow me and use the Reegar on every effin abomination I'm about to punch to death? Making it explode on me, when I was ready to defuse it? It's not even kill stealing: it's a pain in the ass. It's stupid, and aggravating.

What is the purpose, other than making me miserable and rustling my Jimmies like maracas at Rio's Carnival?

On Vancouver, there are two ramps.  We'll call them the Smart Ramp and the Stupid Ramp.  There were two Juggernauts who spent the entire game camping at the top of the Stupid Ramp.  It was a constant revive chain for them while the other pug and I cleared out the rest of the map.  Think the two Jugs had like 30k score at the end

Played a few gold matches. Shaky screens throughout the matches, I had to abandon Rio with geth. Glad that I did; I wasn't able to spot hunters. In another match, was instant kill by banshee on wave 11 even when I dodged. When the extraction was over, I stood up three meters from where I thought I was. In third match, a cloaked infil passed right in front of me just when I fired off a missile at the nice ravagers shooting from far away at wave 11. Nothing happened of course. The other three took longer to down mobs and also never seemed to sync right; they never thought that the ravagers should be taken out quickly, standing as they were in the open.

Dropped into a lobby where two of the PUGs were trying to kick the third.  I took a peak at their loadout.     Think I will take the Juggy instead.

I found it last night on Rio/Geth/Gold......A Random PUG was using the Revenant Fury w Claymore Lvl.3 as side arm...The damn person could hardly move...I took 1 entire wave just to watch this glorious creature in action   ...10 Revive medal by wave 4.

Splash Damage

 

My squad enjoyed standing just outside the cover so they could get the Atlas rockets straight to the face, and share the splash damage with the one who had ducked behind soft cover, namely me. Every single time. My revenge was to outscore the Harrier TGI and the Recon Mine spamming DAI with my Asari Commando, and all the while looking fabulous, obviously.

As in, "My infiltrator was killed by a bunch of sources that were invisible." I even committed suicide once in the game, for some reason, far from any enemy.

I cycled through every volus in sequence, from my order of least to most comfortable with: Adept, Vanguard, Engineer, Sentinel. They stayed their Juggernaut. Every game, I broke 100k points despite them stalking me and trying to kill things first. My favorite time was when we both went down at once, and I said "I'm a volus, what's YOUR excuse?"

 

I love making people eat their own ignorant sentiments. People should learn before they run their mouth!
