I landed in a Silver Cerberus game in progress, just as the wave ended, so I figured since I was losing the equipment anyway, I'd finish it. I'm guessing that I must have outscored the host by a margin with which he was uncomfortable, because not only did he leave the lobby immediately after, but I quick-matched right back into his lobby a couple of times, only to have him leave immediately upon my arrival.

He had "733t" in his name. I'm guessing that's relevant. :P

Pathetic

Took my Melee Volus Vanguard into U/U/G pugland, got a lobby hosted by a gearless Krogan Warlord, a gearless Volus Adept, and a Harrier TGI.

The Krogan Warlord host, in his infinite wisdom, preset the lobby now to Rio/Geth/Platinum.  Because Rio is great for melee kits, Geth Platinum means no sync kills, and gear is a crutch.

Well, when I say "gearless Krogan Warlord", I mean gearless besides his Medi-Gel Transmitter.  Which was pointless because he never used any Medi-Gel.  The Volus Adept literally did NOTHING but Shield Boost for days; at the start of Wave 6 he had like 1530 points.  The Krogan Warlord got sync killed several times by the Platinum Geth's Cerberus buddies.  The TGI wasn't too bad, but he would have been better with more soft cover and less standing in the middle spamming Stim Packs.  Meanwhile I was trying my best to Charge the Acolyte with Incendiary Ammo, then release upon Biotic Charge activation, slam into them with a Fire Explosion, and finish with a Batarian Gauntlet Nut Punch, but offhost Biotic Charge was often simply refusing to activate.

Wave 6 ended up a Wipe because I had to solo an escort from one end to the other, after the entire team got downed in the middle and mister Medi-Gel transmitter let everyone bleed out.  I burned 5 of my own just trying to stand up before Prime and Brute tag-team put me right back down again.

Back in the lobby, I cupped my hands over the mic and said "SKESSSSSST!  PATHETIC!!"  before leaving them.  One of them had Stereo-Surround-Face, so I got to hear my own voice coming back at me.  I was satisfied how Volus-like it actually sounded.

WTF?

Just played a game with a TGI who scored barely over 5000 points (that's five thousand, just in case anyone thought I left out a zero) in an entire 10-wave Gold game.

JRandall and I had a great idea for a youtube series "How to Make Easy Credits"  It would show him joining a Gold or Platinum game then going afk and bleeding out every wave.

Maybe you'll be in it

Are you sure about that score? I ask because the last time the discussion about lowest scores came up I spent a few Bronze games trying to score as low as possible, and it was only with trial and error and a lot of patience that I managed to score "UNDER 9000!"

PITA!

(But good... or should I say Butt good?)

Found a nice pug in gold: reaper, white.

Drell Inf, TGI, valkyrie and Shadow (me). We managed a very good match, not fast, but good.
Problem was, we were a little OP for the mobs, so our teamwork sucked: kill stealing and poor teamplay made a not so difficult match in a struggle.

I said F*** it and switched to plat: valkyrie bailed out, and we got a Weapon geth trooper.

My first mistake, was to leave map and enemy to U/U... We landed on vancouver vs Geth.

My second one, was to use damage oriented gear, with no additional shield.

Shieat!

The first 3 waves was a stagger madness and suffering for me (gang zapped  by bombers)... dead last in points, and I was doing very little other than cart wheeling around. If you were with me there, I'm sorry people.

I got better eventually, reaching 2nd place, but at the extraction (full) I was out of gel, ops packs and rockets. It was awesome, but next time, I'll use something else...

Actually I was the Valkyrie (Gold), who switch to Demogirl (Platinum) later. ;)

Gold Reaper White was quick and easy till wave 10 devices. The main problem was, that the enemy always spawned near the second device, which made it impossible to clear that. That second device was the only problem in that match. Three and four were very simple. So the teamwork started 1 minute before mission failure during that second device after all.

UUP went usual. Nothing special. Going as a melee Shadow was a high risk, but still you managed to get around very well.

Oh sorry! I thought Drellinf switched to Demogrill. :o

Anyway, Gold was good: 20 something minutes is nice, still I was cutting air a little too often .

And I thank you if you considered my gaming with melee shadow in UUP gone very well: It really didn't seem so this side of the screen :D

Migration

playing lol silver because it should have been easy, join Glacier Cerby game on wave 1

first host leaves on wave 3 (he had been getting downed a lot)

2nd host leaves on wave 6 (don't know why, the game had been going smootly)

after I end up killing the last 6 enemies on wave 9, third host leaves at start of wave 10 (apparently I was killing things too slowly after he got stomped)

player who joined after third host left got sync'ed on extraction (stayed in game so he was happy with 15k Credits for 5 minutes of work)

Annoying - i'm trying to get back into this game but its not making it easy for me. Losing connection to the ME3 servers seems to be a regular occurrence...

I think I managed 4500 spamming shield boost with a Volus adept in a Gold Game (10 waves survived for the team no less)

I had to avoid objectives though

The servers have been a little fragile the past few days, I've had a few lost connection to server events as well.

I did notice that explicitly opening the game ports tends to make the connection more stable. They are listed in this thread's first post:

Yeah, I found out that objectives added too many points as well.

A terrible, 33 minute long slugfest against Collectors on Hazard Reactor, complete with: inconsistent lag!  Team mates getting sync-killed at the start of the wave!  Rounds mysteriously disppearing from my Hurricane and Indra! Teleporting Collector Captains! A team of nine different players due to rage-quitters who couldn't handle getting downed!  Being unable to lock things in the reactor!  Teleporting cluster grenades!

0/10, would not recommend.

Ignore

My squad ignored all my (Asari Commando) priming. There was a KroSent with beaucoup Lift Nades, a BatSent with Shockwave, and a Krolord. If I primed it with Warp, they'd shoot until the primer wore off. Or use Subnet. If I Statised a Geth Trooper, they'd concentrate on it instead of shooting at everything else that was rocketing us or burning us. And they simply ignored the Bombers. It was like they didn't know they were there. Pretty much every time someone went down it was to a Bomber.

Full extraction regardless, but only because I killed all the Bombers.

Definitely.  L not 2 P with terrible people.

I really should just quit when I see other people not making an effort and a game being more frustrating than fun.

Yes, I'm absolutely positive. He had a TGI with Mattock and scored about 5400. We didn't extract, it was such an awful PUG group that I just bled out after we got the Wave 10 credits. I was using a TSent with Argus, my Turian stability wasn't working at all, and I still out scored all three of them put together.

There might have been some sort of glitch though, because I noticed several times that the PUGs would take down an Atlas and nothing would show up on the kill feed. Maybe his kill points weren't counting or something?  He actually helped with the Escort objective (the other two were both Targets) so maybe all of his points came from the objective and he didn't get any kill points? And it wasn't like I scored 250k either. I had about 160-170k, and the three PUGs together had about 110k. That seems a little low for an overall total (I think it was U/Cerb/Gold).

Again,

Going Juggernaut platinum and of course it's Condor again as I always seem to get when playing him, this time versus Collectors.

Not full extraction unfortunately, one of the others went down with 40 sec or so to go,

Damn I really hate getting Condor with the Juggernaut, the map is just to big for his slow movment speed (even with AM III he takes forever to get from one end of the map to another) and he's quite exposed to damage all over the map.

Geth

As in, four geths going for a merry round of Platinum. Addded bonus: none was a Juggernaut. Landed on Vancouver, to no doubt the great joy of the two infiltrators, versus collector, to the chagrin of my scion-aggro-accruing engineer and the slightly suicidal trooper. Good game overall, I was the only one missing extraction, and then I was just one step out of the circle when time ran out.

Gollum

The three pugs weren't terrible, but they were pretty bad.  During the second game with them, all three went down literally in a pile at the feet of a Geth Prime.  I killed the Prime then chain revived the lot of them.  It was at that point one of them started saying stuff over the mic.  Now I didn't understand a word of it, maybe it was another language, maybe it was gibberish, but he was speaking in some weird demonic kind of exorcist voice.  I replied with an entheusiastic "Yeah, who's your Precious??"

From then on, every time he went down, he made some demonic remark.  I burned several ops packs and medi gels going on suicide runs to pick him up just so I could keep hearing it.

Whimsical

Hydra/Gold/Reapers. Went in as an asari adept and mooched around since the other three were hammering down the mobs. At such a rate, I'd wonder they didn't play Platinum instead. There was some slight lag so taking it easy suited me fine.

Condor/Gold/Cerberus. Ran into the same host for the above match. Oh lovely, lag. The other two players from previous match had left and the two that came in didn't look like they could last. The host and them kept going down. I roamed the other side of the map, keeping down the respawns from outflanking them. The host or one of the others didn't like it maybe because I chose to stay clear of the converging mobs when they went down, a few shots were lobbed at me when wave three was over.  Wave six, escort ball to that corner of entry. The other three went down, I was left and it was unpleasant to try dodging with lag. I was chancing it in the match before, scooting past the banshee at the last second. This, no chance with two phantoms and one dragoon coming in, one nemesis nailing me from the overlook. stagger, die because of phantoms' pew pew. zap, stagger, pew, sword strike, die. rinse and repeat before I managed to fire off a missile. Too bad I went down to that pin-shooter again. Wiped.

Lonely.

Grabbed TGI for a spin. Noone wanted to join in lobby... I started anyway, utterly persuaded someone would have come, sooner or later.

Rng landed me on Reactor Hazard vs Reapers: I achieved extraction alone. :crying:

30 something minutes, died twice. Escort, pizza, 4 pals to hack.

Rocket galore on wave 11.

I didn't solo since... Lone wolf banner, and that was a loong time ago.

Don't like to solo in general: I prefer to kill in company.

As a warrior once said: "Death, like tea, is an experience best shared."

Why didn't you self detonate with throw?

Well, obviously I detonated everything I could. A lot of the time I simply needed to GTFO before I could, because I would have to deal with the blasted Bombers that no one else seemed to mind about. I was just left wondering why it never occurred to the BatSent to Shockwave something that was already Warped. Or to the KroSent to toss a nade on a pre-Warped Prime.
