[Quarian Master Race]

forever alone last night as well despite sending multiple invites to various ppl. Started UUP lobby which ended up Reapers/Rio, and all I got was a Krogan Chaman with a BPP and some other Pug who died to banshee hug and ragequit before I could even see what they were. Ended up taking like 40 minutes as well. Would include it in my depression thread but that got locked because you're all idiots

Sorry, I was at a party with multiple strains of plant life suitable for human ingestion.  Combinations had to be tried, y'know, for science. Conclusion: much better than vodka.

Finally done the Shuriken and Predator weapons challenges.  Turns out if you're an infiltrator, on lolsilver, use damage boosting gear, use recon mine's enemy weakeness scan debuff and can consistently get headshots, they do semi-decent damage.  Against mooks.

Krogasm and Asarigasm to be precise.

Managed to invite HamleticTortoise for a couple of match. And oh yeah... gimmie more of dat booty. Headbooty to be precise.

First was melee Krentinel duo vs Cerberus  on Ghost. Hilarious match when an eng refused to join us on ground level: problem is he was a target for assassination.Couple of 'nades and thanks to us he touched the sky: the bastard never called back.

2nd was giant hazard vs Reaper, rolled Justicar while HamleticTortoise grabbed vanilla Asari adept. We were dominating... sadly we got a little overconfident and... we got crab, in the form of a Colldept who refused to gel and rocket. Rushing to save him, we got punched in the rack by Banshees. O well, it was a great match.

So I need to wrap up Tech Mastery.  Guess I'll fire up the Flamer Geth Trooper and see who's on the menu today!

 

Dropped into Hydra/Collectors/Gold, it's Wave 3, and there's a hack mission.  They're all getting overrun and down and dead.  I kited and soloed it and finished it for them.  Why play Gold if you can't even complete the Wave 3 Obective?

 

Wave 4 I took up a spot in the back behind the big walls that open up into the center area.  Everything funnelled its way into my Flamer, which I would alternate with Cryo Acolyte, and sidestep after a second of flaming.  Cleared the entire Wave like that.

 

I checked the scoreboard, then got on text chat to say "wow one wave and i'm in first place" at which point the Vorcha flamethrower guy left the game.  Hey, it was the truth!

 

The other two stepped up after that though and the scores ended up being more or less even.  Though nearly every single wave had enemies getting stuck on each other at the LZ, so there were never really more than 4 enemies at a time for the rest of the game.

Yeah, I had heard about your krentinel play from around here, and you delivered. I distinctly remember at least one engineer, one phantom, and one guardian leaving us that way! I honestly think that two krogans headbutting in between waves should be able to maintain their rage going by the way.

Shame about that second game, but unholy amounts of fun before the bitter end. Thanks!

Mailslotting with Graal is... tricky. We should play Krogan baseball sometimes too.

Anyway, once you master the damage reduction while in melee with Krogans, it's possible to melee everything to death... Pretorians NOT included (or to be precise, I do not recommend it: flying crabs are bad when uncooked). The rest is trusty teammates to share headbutts with.

As in, DON'T use it when I'm two feet away from you!  My Cabal got shanked by a phantom on wave 10, and the match was over within 30 seconds because everyone else had used up their gel by wave 4 via chain rage-gelling...

My Cabal joined a Fury, a Justicar, and a Shadow to take on Reapers/Giant/Gold.  It was an interesting match.  I mostly ramboed it up on one end of the map, taking on half the enemies, while the other three dealt with the other half.  The fury seemed to not have AF at all, which seemed just plain wrong.  The justicar (named catdarkly), who I also ran into in two other U/U/G lobbies that turned out Reapers/Giant in the last two days, was quite good.  She knew how to use the bubble effectively for double BEs and kept reave's DR up at all times.  The only problem was that she was using an Avenger VII, which took a painfully long time to bring down banshees - still, well done.  Either an alt account, or someone who picks up fast.  Given some decent weapons, he/she will be quite effective.

Yes, shoulder tapping a Guardian while another krogan is grinning in his face will never get old. Two warlords would be amazing, I'd be up for that. One gets picked up? The other one is on hand for a head concussion! Your host was so good, I'd consider a double Shadow match as well... though as I mentioned in another thread, I recently had a krogan - shadow melee experience, and it was glorious, so that is on the table as well. Keeping DR up vs. Cerberus gets tricky for me in the later waves, as I tend to keep away from phantoms, whereas I should go aggressively in with stagger-melee combos... and the rest is crazy, deep-throated cackle in the silence of a ruined, charred battlefield

So like after a *very* long while I for some reason decided to play this game again last night.

 

I had a full course experience:

 

1. A match where the lag was intense (Complete Experience Package/CEP part 1: lag), where I was teleported here and there. Managed to do well despite that, actually, and upwards to the end of Wave 9, the host got killed and he rage quitted (CEP Part 2: host rage-quitting)

 

2. Two gold match complete with a guy with two digit CP equipping nothing (CEP Part 2: not-bothering-to-equip-****-you new player)

 

3. Insta-kill by a phantom at wave 11 (CEP Part 3: insta-kill yey)

 

4. Encounter with a Best of the Best that did not seem to find the fact that he's getting outscored to be within limit of his acceptable world-view parameters (CEP Part 3: elitist douchebags with a mic)

 

5. People not helping with objectives (CEP Part 4: **** you I am SCORE HUNTINGGGGGGGGG)

 

6. And of course, we can't have the complete ME3 experience without CEP Part 5: Waiting for Other Player screen and CEP Part 6: TrollStore giving me junks, yey.

So I need a few more challenges for Tech and Biotic.  Hey, I can knock out both with one kit: the Warlord!

 

Oh god, I suck with this guy.  I so much prefer the KroSol/KroSent.  The game was Reactor Hazard/Reapers/Gold.  Every single time a Banshee spawned, she headed straight for me.  And there was no grab primer either; it was straight to instant death.  There were even Banshees that grabbed me after hitting their stagger threshold and entering Warp Ball mode.  It was absurd!  I switched to my Lancer and tried shooting them from a distance.  They did the MEGATELEPORTINYOURFACELOL and grabbed me.  I literally spent more time spectating than playing.

 

So Wave 11 comes around, and I text chat "Let's just go and get this over with".  I find the nearest Banshee and let her grab me.  One of the pugs decides to save me with a missile!  I texted "Oh come on" and went to find another Banshee.  This one refused to grab me for 5 entire seconds!  When she finally did, she hit stagger mark and dropped me instantly.  But wait!  Another Banshee has entered the fray!  I'll just scoot on over to her and let HER grab me!  Nope, as soon as she did, pug missile applied directly to her forehead.  I text chatted "goddamnit" and ran off.  I chatted "Fine I will go find a different Banshee", then "This one will do", but no, missiled before she even thought of grabbing me.  By that point there were only like 23 seconds left to extraction so screw it I headed over there

 

oh and Wave 6 i got grabbed by a Brute that didn't have red eyes either
