Sad.

B9XzgY2.png

It should not look like that when I'm playing a laggy off-host Asari Vanguard (who I thought I wasn't good with) against Reapers, spending most of the match kiting banshees...  Ignore the last guy.  He joined during extraction - that fourth slot was a revolving door.

They revived, but two of them wouldn't gel, either.

Enormous

had a 4-warlords game, a 3-warlords game (SMR partook in those) - both replete with headbutting circles - then later on a 3-juggernauts match (joined by a Paladin, who must have enjoyed the safest deployment ever). Juggs get a lot of flak, but 3 of them, well played, trivialize gold to a hilarious extent. I couldn't even siege spam, as my joke build carries spitfire and javelin (which can only 1-shot cannibal-level mooks), and siege pulse has a 66 seconds cooldown (there that "enormous" popping up again), and the game didn't even take longer than usual. Ended up being London/Reapers, and things got a bit difficult only on wave 10 devices, where missiles had to be used. No Jugg went down, and much banshee's clowning took place. Mosh pits and high fives all the way to victory!

Were I in one or both of those games? It does seem familiar :D

In the 3x jugg game, I had just come from a, not hardish reaper/gold, but just banshee pulling and dodging enough, that I missed having a jugg on the team or being one.

I don't care what anyone else says about match time and "efficiency". I LOVE having a jugg on the team... tho 3x juggs made me mentally hum this: https://www.youtube....h?v=otCpCn0l4Wo

Yes, I remember you! A pleasant surprise to find you here. We played a few matches together (maybe three ?). You switched kits around every game, and when you went Juggernaut, I decided to go all in with that! When the first player dropped in, and it was a Jugg, I knew we were in for something special. Those were all good games, thanks for sticking around, it was fun playing with you!

OutWhored

We started with 3: Host was a Typhoon N7 Destroyer, Pug 2 was a PPR TGI, I was a Valiant SI.  We ended up in London/Collectors/Gold.  Wave 3, the TGI and I were the only ones escorting; the Typhoon Destroyer was camping up top trying to scorewhore.  So I left the escort to go stand in front of him and headshot all his targets.  The TGI asked on the mic why he was the only one escorting.  I texted back, incrementally:

"because the host is a scorewhore"

"and the only language they understand"

"is superior scorewhore"

End of Wave 3 I had twice the host's score.  The TGI was in 3rd place, though, and needed to step it up a bit.

Wave 4 we were joined by a 4th member, who really wasn't much more than a decoy.

Wave 5 was a fustercluck of chit up on the top ramp, abominations and seeker plagues galore, and all three of them stuck in a revive chain for the entire wave.  I texted to them:

"you are allowed to move"

but by that point the revive train was going full steam ahead and there was no getting off now.

Wave 6 was Pizza, the host thought he was clever and decided to Ragehold the pizza until the mission failed.  Funnily enough, he tried to do this by doing the exact same thing as Wave 5: camp the top and refuse to budge.  To his credit, he outlasted the TGI and the new guy, but in the end he was down, out of gels on Wave 6, and I was able to move in and finish the mission.  I texted:

"TEAM MISSION: PASS"

"HOST MISSION: FAIL"

I got some encouragement over the mic from the TGI as I was cleaning up the Wave.

There wasn't much to say about Waves 7-9.  10 was a hack under the stairs, of course the host was nowhere to be found the entire time.

Wave 11 he went down with 20 seconds to go, no one moved to revive him and he was out of gel.  I texted:

"Good."

And the rest of us extracted.  A Possessed Abom blew up on all of us and downed us all, but extraction had already ticked.  Does the endgame enemy wipe cause Abom explosions?  Or did someone shoot it?  I never paid attention to this detail until now, but I am curious what happened there.  It was a great way to end that derpy game, so if it was deliberate, kudos to whoever did it.

When the scoreboard came up, the TGI was in 2nd place, above the scorewhore host.  I texted:

"GG (redacted), this will make a great BSN story"

Does the endgame enemy wipe cause Abom explosions?

Yes. All the enemies die as the counter hits zero. And the A-Bombs explode when they die.

If there isn't an A-Bomb in the extraction circle, and you have a missile left, you can cause your squad's hearts to skip by firing the missile at the ground just before the timer ticks to zero. (Not that I would ever do this myself, as TheNightSlasher will - no doubt :) - attest.)

The moon host ninja switched to Platinum. I was pissed and let everyone know about it. Wipe on wave 4 or 5, with everyone else eating my dirt score-wise. Sure are a lot of terrible hosts hately. Wish I didn't get so easily frustrated when in game but I just get mad when laggy bs robs me of a good game, time, and consumables.

Oops!

Joined a game in progress blah blah blah. After game the host leaves and one of the other pugs become host. I take my warlord and ready up as the lobby fills with all pretty inexperienced pugs (including the host.) Game starts and it's firebase white/cerberus and the fun begins. I'm smashing and head butting away while the other pugs keep going down. Eventually two of them leave and it's just me and the host with their human adept. This was still wave two and now it's just a duo. We managed to get the wave six objective done as the host disabled all devices while I kept dragoons and phantoms away from them. Wave seven and the host gets taken out and stomped so I'm left with a bunch of engineers and one atlas. I start picking them off one by one and atlas is the last one. I'm keeping my distance and shooting with the graal as the atlas slowly comes up the steps. The host then sends me a message but I was too busy to read it at the moment since I was focusing on this atlas. It gets down to two bars of armor, still on the steps and I figure 'just melee it!' So I run in and do a hammer smash but it did no damage whatsoever! Then suddenly it sync-kills me. Oops!

Anyways the message the host sent me was something along the lines of, "I love you Mr. Krogan! :crying:" It was their way of thanking me for helping get the match as far as we did. I responded, "Thank you but I now dun goofed!"

Nothing wrong with that.

Exactly. I havent said it was wrong. But maybe some people deep down know theres "something's wrong" with that and thats why they react defensive as if someone had said or implied that its wrong ._.

Doom

The end of days must be approaching when it is the Juggernaut aggressively chasing enemies around the map, while the Fury and the QMI sit camping all non-objective waves...

Blues.

But it wasn't sad blues, rythm and blues, soul, funk, rock, country, pop, rap, showtunes, or polka. NO! It was blues as in plural: as in biotic combo, as a covenant of two biotics, as in the most beautiful goddess I ever did Vs Reapers. AA and VV, priming and exploding eachother... we basically duoed the entire match...

Nova spamming on Banshees... Killing scores of Brutes together... stasis everywhere. Fire and lighting, dark energy and eezo... while two painted blue babes steamrolled everything and everyone.

Ty Blue_Sienna, It was a very good match: my Wraith is smoking a cigar for the satisfaction!

Los Pollos Hermanos.  Collectors/Goddess     somebody Lashed a possessed a-bomb that landed at my feet. Perfect timing whoever did that. He didn't even bother to revive me.

Glitch

Was playing a few games against Cerberus with my Shadow to burn off some strength enhancers when I noticed that I was unable to target Atlas mechs with Shadow Strike. On everything else it would work just fine, but for some reason I couldn't target any Atlas. Rather annoying bug.  <_<

I get that a lot with KroSol/KroSent Heavy Melee.  Can't lock onto Atlas, it's very annoying

Yeah, good games. Well I had to change from warlord, because I'm useless against anything, but geth with it. Too much leeroy jenkins over me, which does not match well with sync kills. Usually try to be some other classes than the others tho. :)

Spitfire is decent enough on the jugg though, with high level incendiary and ar damage stuff on. I used to use it, but at some point I got tired of having screenshaking going on through most of the matches. :D

Ran into a familiar player, he's always a jug, and thought I would have a smooth match. It didn't turn out that way. Firebase Ghost / reapers / gold. The other two was a geth soldier and somebody who's permanently afk and getting killed at the beginning of every wave. These two went down like ninepins, leaving me and the jug to clean out each wave. Wouldn't be so bad if I didn't lag. Once so badly, I couldn't do anything when the banshee grabbed me, avatar must have been frozen to the spot, so of course, I died.
