TBH, I like it too. I always feel guilty when I outscore the others by a big margin . BTW, two more pugs. First was Reactor Hazard, and got promptly caught twice in the reactor. It was a first for me. Second was glacier hazard.

^^^ 24 Minute Silver?  WHAT????????  If / When I play Silver even with a Human Soldier / Avenger ...the game wont go past 18 minutes..No Rockets used.

 

I just had a 24 minute GIP Bronze match on WiiU. Those guardians are too OP. Please nerf.

My Shaman landed in a lobby with a Kroguard and TWO TGI's. We got Geth/Goddess. Now, I say cheesegrater for two reasons:

1. My shaman top scored and the TGI's came in 3rd & 4th, denying the cheese
2. Because of the double aggro dump, I died.. A lot. My poor shaman was holier than a priest on Sunday

Who made very good meatshields. What can I say.    Hydra / Collectors (the host chose this) / Gold.  I did everything in wave 3, 6 and 10 because none of them were going for the objectives nor knew how to make speedy pizza deliveries. The thing they did very well was dying. The 4th gave up at wave 9 or 10, can't remember. The other two stuck with me for wave 11 instead of bouncing and dying all over the place and we all made it.

When I'm doing gold games I like for it to be a bit of a challenge at least, I usually do it while promoting with low level kits using weapons like the collector AR,

 

I just can't understand the people that join gold games using flamer/Acolyte or Carrier/Wraith X - what's the fun it that?

Got Giant(Hazard)/Geth with an excellent team. My AA wasn't perfectly suited to them, and I was surrounded by techies, so I knew I was going to be an extra wheel, anyway...

...and then I found that many opposing units (including all Primes) were invisible. As though the Geth don't screw with adepts in enough other ways.

Pugs were pugs but my Claymore Valkyrie compensated for that. Experienced a couple of glitchy deaths and had to carry a wave, but otherwise it was smooth sailing.

I dropped into a lobby with three Vorcha Soldiers armed with SNIPER RIFLES. I did not understand this at all. You clearly want to be closer range due to their flamer and decent melee. Unless you're planning on only shooting at long range, but heavy snipers murder cooldowns, right?

 

So, I joined in on the fun for the hell of it. It worked better than I anticipated. Tapping flamer for a split second, even with a Widow 1 (aka pretty dang heavy) meant near-instant cooldowns, and panicked enemies prime for a quickscope headshot. It was still really stupid, sure, but it was neat to have a Vorcha who didn't care about what range they fought at, for a change.

 

Would I do this regularly? No. I still think it's pretty stupid. But it's not nearly as bad as I anticipated.

What? Flamer works very, very well with sniping, although GT is a much better kit for it. You just need to be comfortable with close range sniping.

 

Unfortunately I only have this video to show; there's not much flamer use in, but it should give you the basic idea. Armored targets go down really fast with Flamer + Javelin.

Juggernaut frenzy

 

Gigant/Reapers/Platinum,

 

I ran Juggernaut/Spitfire again with Drill rounds, must be a new pug game score record with this set-up (I even got the 75 AR kills medal), took 24 min which is not to bad for a pug game on this map.

 

I outscored a TGI with Carrier X and a Drell Adept als using Carrier but at IX IIRC with a quite large margin.

 

For those that say that he's useless and don't contribute etc etc - l2p.

Just played with a guy whose bio reads, "The MP7: Making noobs look good since 2012." He was playing a Destroyer, using a Harrier X, with level four consumables, on gold. Glorious.

My first gold pug ( note: not my first gold game, just the first pug ). Went better than anticipated. Didn´t die as often as one would think. Got synced by a phantom on w8 trying to rez a m8. BAAAAAAD mistake. Used my last missile on 2 atlasses, to rez another m8, but as the missile was on the way, he gelled. That missile could have saved the guy that didn´t make extraction. I couldn´t get to him, what with a goon and 3 phantoms around. They managed to down me twice. Down me twice, shame on you, down me thrice, shame on me. But managed to get away and got to the EZ with 10 secs left on the timer. That adrenaline rush.

Yeah, it's not worth trying to rez someone if it's just going to result in your death as well. You might feel like you're not being a team player sometimes, but you're helping the team by finishing the wave. Especially on Gold or higher, people should anticipate gelling instead of expecting a teammate to run into a bad spot.
