Giant/Geth/Gold

We started the game as four, but one left I think on w2 or w3. After that it was just the 3 of us against staggerhappy geth. Did I mention I hate Geth? But my TSol stood his ground against this foe. Emptying his trusty Mattock into everything that came in sight. All the while preparing a counterambush laying mines and CSing them to det FEs/TBs. Got a bit hairy on w11. I decided to yolo past a prime, a hunter and a pyro. Ah, the sight of the hunters shot flying past me as I rushed to the EZ. The heat of the Pyros flamethrower that didn´t catch me. The Prime oblivious to me. Fappalicious.

Yeah, it's not worth trying to rez someone if it's just going to result in your death as well. You might feel like you're not being a team player sometimes, but you're helping the team by finishing the wave. Especially on Gold or higher, people should anticipate gelling instead of expecting a teammate to run into a bad spot.

I think by that time he was out of gel. Idk whether he ragegelled or tried to avoid getting roflstomped. I try to save atleast one gel for extraction. Just in case things go fubar.

I´m getting bored of silver  . Depending on kit, there isn´t any challenge anymore. And without a challenge, I scrub

I stayed on Silver waaaaay too long before moving on to Gold. If you find yourself getting bored on Silver, that's a clear indicator that you should move up and never look back. You might have some mission failures at first, but when you finally find that Gold rhythm, it's more rewarding in the long run

Same here. And that's exactly what I did.

Game 1: Boner

As in, our sniper had a hard on for his sniper rifle. Hydra. Camped the LZ the whole time. Ally dies besides him? Keeps shooting. Escort is literally 20 steps away? Keeps shooting. He did not move the entire game. Naturally I let him bleed out so he could experience seperation from his beloved rifle.

Game 2: Pugtastic

What do you get when you combine a hilarious tryhard with no idea of how game mechanics work (AP4 ammo on a projectile weapon on silver) with noobs with too much faith in their characters? A whole lot of "We've got this! We've got this! NO, WE DON'T GOT THIS! REVIVE REVIVE MISSILE MISSILE MISSILE AAAAAAAAH!" That match embodied the very essence of Pugdom in a comical way. Good game, guys.

Funny thing is I was playing the awakened collector and had no lag issues, so the long wait after the host left came as a bit of a surprise

(unless the new hosts connection was the issue)

Were you able to spam the Seeker Swarms really fast like on host, or was there quite of bit of delay between each shot.

Ninja-Math.

Ended up pugging with Illegal Algebra and a couple of other guys playing Reaper/Ghost. We clear the lobby, and IA is nowhere to be seen. I check the scoreboard before the game starts, and he's gone. He was equipped with consumables, so I figure he just disconnected.

As we play, I notice that one of the guys is amassing an enormous score with a Turian...Sentinel? With an Arc Pistol. Good set-up, but he's not moving around the map, and I can't figure out how he's almost doubling my score when I'm running around making constant kills. I check the kill feed, and Illegal Algebra is all over it. Somehow, IA has gone out of phase with me, but he's still mowing stuff down, and his score is being rolled into the other pug's.

Now, IA is often accused of being of being a score-w***e. Maybe he is, maybe he isn't. But today he stayed invisible and donated all of his points to a Turian pug. I don't care who you are: That's a noble deed.

Collectors...grrr

The continuing saga of pugging gold - managed to land in a lobby with a fairly decent player and we spent four or so games together with varying teammates. One game stands out in my mind. Collectors/Reactor - started out with three, a KroSent armed with a Mattock joined. This unfortunate player obviously had no idea how to use his hammer as he spent the whole game trying to shoot things with his Mattock, died about 40 times (literally), and ended the game with 6500 points. Back in the lobby I discovered that they were an N738 and switched my mic on to offer some helpful advice - namely that they should probably try out bronze or silver for a bit and get used to the game. My other half was listening in and declared that I was a heartless b****, clearly she has no idea how painful it is to watch a KroSent not swinging his hammer.

GETINTEHFEWKINHACKCIRCLEYOUSCURRRRB

I think they were allergic to circles full stop. They even seemed to be in two minds whether they should extract.

The pug stayed with us for about four matches before we had to go, and I don't know why they stayed because our constant 'advice' was fairly constructive

Ah well, it was entertaining at least :D

ok

Dropped into a GiP on w11. Didn´t realize it was w11 until extraction was complete. But stayed on. Next up was Reactor Hazard/Geth/Gold. It was ok. With the exception of one pug actually hiding his ML. A rare sight! He dominated the whole game. But all made extraction and that´s always good. Next was a bronze pug to take my newly acquired AIU for a quick spin.

PS: I hate that shop. I´m trying to get my uncommon weaponmods up and what does the store give me? Consumables! AIU! Fury! Demolisher! But not mods -_-

WTFAREYOUDOING?

Against my better judgment, I stayed in a lobby that went from "OK" to "highly sketchy" the second the host switched the settings from Gold to Platinum.   Surprisingly, the game didn't go entirely haywire (we extracted), although I did run out of medigel and ops packs.  It would have gone much smoother though, if it weren't for one of the worst GIs I've ever seen.  This guy managed to score about 45k in a complete Platinum game, and I'm not sure how, because he couldn't be bothered to take a second away from his "killing" to  revive anyone or do device objectives.  Multiple times, I had to use a medigel, despite the fact that I was right in front of him, with very little danger in reviving me (especially because he could have cloaked before doing it).  Sadly, he wasn't even the worst player in the lobby, as we had another guy (PPR Destroyer) who scored 18k in the same complete Platinum game.  I don't know how we even extracted.

Garbage.

Sorry for length

Level 8 BatSent on DH/S/R came in after W1 started, mic off
I'm an average player at best, but this one know it all constantly griped about collector adept sucked, even though all he did was spam swarm the whole match, no DC or DS with striker 1 equipped. At one point said (among many other idiotic things) "if they make a ME4, I'm going to buy it."
Anyway, extraction wave, another and I go to far corner (extraction was low extraction point). He and his buddy go directly to extraction. So all I hear for next 1:30 is stupid mfer's, f*** those guys they don't what they are doing, wtf are you guys doing, we can't get full extraction unless you're here. So with 30 secs to go and being called a stupid mfer for 4th time, I make my way and cut my mic on. Here is what follows
Me: you don't go to f'in extraction at the beginning, you get overrun
PUG: I want full extraction
Me: you get overrun, you don't have to hold it
PUG: who the F*** is talking, who the f*** is talking
Me: the guy that just scored 100k in a silver ( not that that means anything)
PUG: stay in the lobby, see what happens
Me: ok, sorry I was rude, just trying to help you, I had to be told stuff too
PUG: I wanted full extraction
Me: we got it
PUG: no we didn't because you 2 weren't in there the whole time
(Get to score lobby)
Me: see
PUG: u don't have to be a d*** about
Me: just trying to help a new guy out
PUG: I'm not new (less than 100 on N7 an CP)
Me: I can help you run the adept, you want low cool...
PUG: I'm not new
Me: you have all level 1 weapons
PUG: I'm not new
Leave lobby. Only time I've ever gotten upset playing this game

You're right, of course.  Still, I think holding the extraction zone on Silver is actually fun, even if it isn't the most effective strategy.

Dagger, gold, geth. I dropped in around w4 and was working biotic combo with another asari adept. We were doing good but this missile happy dude, who I suspect, is the host, missile bomb every spawning group after w5. I became annoyed and left at w9, wishing him a happy time throwing whatever he has left in w10 and 11. Sometimes I'd wish I could stick such players in plat and see what they do.

PLat, hazard refinery, reapers. Very good team. The mobs went down fast and had no chance.

125 techkills

london/geth/gold. Three seperate idiot pugs decided to ragequit on waves 5, 6 (after targets), and 10 (after targets) all forcing host migrations in the process, because I apparently wasn't currying fast enough. As a result my Adas QFE managed 3 tech kill medals (50, 50, 25).

If you retards are gonna ragequit, could you at least not make me redo objective waves?
