Well, there are some teams who seem to keep looking for red and blue dialogue options instead of killing things...

Dropped into a lobby with the host that had a N7 rating of 15....but everybody else looked like they had a decent setup.....krogan warlord, a turian something and the host was a human engineer?.....so i was basically thinking that at least the krogan and turian (who had decent loadouts) would pick up the slack...we get gold/Jade/Collectors. 

 

As soon as the match begins, the host goes down....i expected that, but that krogan goes down hard trying to melee everything, but the turian is there to revive him, now both the turian and the Krogan are on the other side of the map giving each other a course in revival chains super XXL edition... ...so i now know how this is going to end....

 

 

Wave 3 devices......I'm the one doing the device hacks and i'm just praying that this group can hold on until i can get them done (because nobody was doing them) so it turns out i end up getting all three devices done and the very last device is smack dead in the open area in the middle of the map and of course everybody is dead....

 

So i make a run for the last device....but collectors are shooting, launching swarmers etc...so i run around the map hoping to lure them away.....i come back around, hit the device and at the very last milli-second a collector mook jumps on me stopping me from clearing it...by the time i stomp him scions/praetorians are unloading everything from the galaxy on me and i have to rocket and run around the map....now time is running low and even tho i ran around the map, two collector soldiers camped at that last device...so while i was busy killing them, here comes another praetorian shooting lasers, i kill him but the scion on the upper level kills me as i'm trying to clear that last device with seconds left...mission failed.....

Game Carrying

Had a fun gold lobby where the team went down save for me in waves 8 and 10. Unfortunately, I had already run out of gels and the folks camped on the LZ. By the time I ran back to the LZ, every enemy imaginable were having a party there and waiting for me. Mission failed on wave 11.

^ I still need to level up my Human Adept on WiiU. All those disconnects keeping me away from faster power re-charge rates last time I played devastated me. Thinking of trying to see how my connection is today on WiiU, since the weekend is almost here. But first I must go out into the real world to continue my search for Turians.

 

Anyway, if WiiU connection is successful, I will help you with the WiiU pug thread (once I level my HA, that is. Until then I'm hiding in Bronze & Silver). Or we can just duo Gold or Platinum.

Last night, I finally had an enjoyable game playing the Batarian Sentinel.  I have tried so many things on him, trying to make him unique, like a pure melee build, a Kishock build, a Tech Burst build, etc., and everything was pretty unsatisfying (I still think the Kishock build would be good if I was any good with the Kishock).

 

I finally decided to stop trying to make him unique and just give him a good weapon and max his shield recharge rate and let him tear stuff up.  Raider BatSent.  Many fun times were had.

 

EDIT:  Also... DOH!

 

I was switching classes in the lobby, and I switched to a Human Adept because there were a couple of other biotics in the lobby, and I wanted to make a lot of booms.  I equipped my Pistol Amp consumable and didn't even bother to look at my weapon loadout because the other people were waiting on me and I always (ALWAYS!) use the Talon on the Human Adept.  Always.  I get into the match and notice that I, in fact, do NOT have the Talon equipped, and I am running with only the Tempest.  I don't know how or why the Tempest got equipped, but it did.  Anyway, the match went fine, I'm just angry that I wasted one of my precious, precious Pistol Amps.

You're probably sick of repseccing him, but if you do feel like giving him a little tweak, I highly recommend dropping the last rank of Fitness for more weapon damage. With such speedy shield recharge, the extra ~200 shields really aren't going to matter much, but picking 5b in passives is really noticeable with the Raider.

pretty sure we can do gold with a kroguard on geth. It should be no problem. As far as the disconnects go, not sure what's up there. Did you have your console in the same room as your Wi-Fi router?

It's no good. I keep losing connection as if there was a cement wall in between my WiiU and my modem (tried 5x, and only once seen a lobby. Never seen any in-game maps this time around). Maybe I need a better modem. But regardless. I need to buy that adapter to hardwire the internet connection to WiiU. My local game store doesn't have it. Need to visit evil higher power EB Games next time I'm in that area. Until then my Human Male Adept must remain at a pitiful level 8.

You'sa say's whutz to me?   Random sent me a msg saying I should put the Black Widow on a Drell Assassin as opposed to me using it on my FQI     What??????????  This is from a scurb  ( i typed it my way )  who started spawn nuking wave 9 to catch up to my score and then on wave 11 to pull ahead of me.. Scurb's be scurbin' sometimes.

Pointless-modding-in-plat

 

Condor, Collectors, Plat. Dropped in at w6 and it went on and on and on and on. Everything came in duos; possessed abominations, praetorians, atlas, engineers. Not a single trooper of any faction appeared in the minutes that went by. I was puzzled and became convinced match was modded when they kept coming. I dropped out, there wasn't any point in continuing.

Things I heard PuGs say in a game from last night, as best as I can remember, beginning with what I heard as I was loading in during the second wave:

 

"We have a Volus. A Volus."

 

"Oh wow, we have a Volus with a shotgun. The balls on this guy."

 

"Wait, did he just melee someone?"

 

"I will revive you, but only if you tell me how you're meleeing with a Volus."

 

"Seriously, how is he doing that? He keeps meleeing targets before the Krogan can kill them. Apparently, this Krogan is a wimp!"

 

It made me laugh. A lot. And yes, I topscored (barely.) After that, I felt like I should disappear in a puff of mystery, leaving them to scratch their heads and wonder who this nut-punching shotgun-carrying Volus superhero was (rather than disappoint them with reality.)

There was only the host in the lobby I joined, a geth trooper with a GPR. Not a great weapon, but I figured it wouldn't matter much since they'd spend most of their time Flamer-ing anyway. Match started as a duo, at which point I discovered that this person had built the kit as a pure weapons platform. Whoops.

Frustrated-player?

 

Firebase ghost, cerberus, gold. The GE stationed himself on the far side, I took the compartment next to the LZ. At some point or other, one player became frustrated, I'm not sure by what but the jug was not effective. I didn't see him deploy any shield or turret. Anyways, whoever it was burst out with : Cover the back, you f****** c***. Note that I'm not sure what's the last word, it might or might not mean what I think it meant. Most unfortunately, I doubt anyone knew what's he talking about.
