Hardly made into a match. I just popped into the lobby and straightaway, the peeps in there commented on my banner (hardcore); I didn't see any on them. They sounded bitchy for guys   and I've a bad feeling about them so I left.

Medi-hell

 

Been chewing through medi-gel lately like it's going out of fashion. Games have had this weird lag where charge only works 1/10th of the time if I'm lucky and staggering of any sort throws me around as if my characters drunk. I've been getting shot through walls, hit around corners and generally taken down by cheap BS. Enemies will shoot one or two rounds off after stasis'd which has also thrown me off. Then I get team mates that knock enemies out of stasis with pew-pew guns so no biotic explosions for me. Haven't been enjoying games with this lag, makes normal enemy BS seem tame by comparison. Soon as I've done this 200k points for the Disciple it's getting shelved again for a long while. Fun gun, awesome sounds, but four rounds isn't enough if the enemies aren't really where they look like they are.

I have no idea what is going on.....

Biotic charge...doesn't, Stasis doesn't go where I want it, Reave misses, Pull goes right through the target and into the wild blue yonder.

Weapons don't do damage, even when shooting things right in the face.

 

But I can still be chased and killed.

Got a quarian pug. Was using Reegar QFI and kicking all the asses along with my Claymoar QFE. It was wonderful.

Got connected to a laggy UK host, who either quit or got dc'd on wave 7 Reactor Geth Gold. Stayed through a host of other pugs getting dropped in, until I found myself alone. Then I left too. Drellguarding off host...good times...

Got bored for a couple of gold match. Grenade lovers throwing grenades everywhere. bam bam bam boom boom boom. I could see I won't have to play, I left and went for Plat games If you take out most of the mobs by grenades and spawn missile for no other purpose than to score high, you take away game play from the others.  Better to play by yourself. All the mobs are belong to you.

Are we allowed to name and shame pugs?  Because I feel this one deserves a special mention.  I've run into them before - it was pretty memorable, because they keep their mic broadcasting and speakers on all game long.  In this game, they also played a vanguard, and bled out within 20 seconds of the wave starting.  Every wave.  Without fail.  And it was obvious they weren't even pressing the spacebar in hope of someone reviving them.

 

I should've just quit, I don't know why I continue to put up with this sort of bullsh*t.

One of the pugs stayed near the LZ missiling enemies on wave 11 and when he went down said "can some of you f****tards give me some f***ing cover?" Since it was his own fault we left him to die. As the shuttle took off without him he said "f***** backstabbing c**t!" Followed by ragequitting. As naming and shaming is frowned on I'll just say his ID initials were PD.

 

I think I ran into him before -- there can't be two asshats who complain about not getting "cover" when they die stupidly.

Giant/Geth/Gold.  Had a Juggernaut PUG who kept complaining during the whole game that he couldn't see the BIG RED ONE.  Don't think I have ever seen this bug before, where only Primes are invisible. 

 

Why is it that the very few occasions where my voice chat actually works make me want to find a way to turn it off?

Have definitely had this happen -- it's a pain but not as bad as invisible phantoms.

I join a lobby where two guys are sporting his and hers BotB banners. One is running a Vorcha flamer kit with an Acolyte, and the other is using the PPR and the Claymore as a Destroyer. I'm running a Human Engineer with a Phalanx and patchwork equipment. The game goes smoothly enough for Collectors/Reactor. There's a lot of reviving going on, but everyone is stepping up for that.

Anyway, there's a partial extraction, with the two BotB guys away from the LZ trying to run up score. The smoke clears, and I have high score. The other pug leaves the lobby, and I get vote-kicked.

They're just lucky I didn't break out the Raptor or the Tempest.

Ended in a Gold lobby with a host that stuck around for 6 games or so. I was too OP and scored too much that first game, so I toned it down for the next 3 games so that we all had a better time. The last one I went Fury, though, so the OP rule went out the window for that one.

Hammerless

 

'cause we definitely had a sword and a shield! Took out my shadow, ended in a match with a meleeing paladin, vs geth of all things. Loads of fun were had, beheading, shield-bashing, shadow striking, and light meleeing all the toasters into a scrap pile. What a fun combo!

 

Now, if only you could find a Warlord when you actually need one...

Got the same pug not once, not twice, but three times in the reactor. Actually he dodged my attempted third try but I got him later anyway.
