unexpectedly well

First plat match with 3 randoms. Went better than anticipated. Had to start opsing and gelling on w7. Would have been even better, if TC hadn´t lagged out a few times. Ah well, you can´t have everything.

Dropped into a lobby full of lowbie players.  I was in one of my charitable moods so I put some gear on my SE and readied up.  The host, though gearless, readied up as well.  The remaining two players, both without gear, sat there for 5 minutes, with no signs of life whatsoever.

 

So I texted "hi"

 

No response.

 

I texted "I can't carry you until you hit the ready button"

 

That got me one vote kick.

 

I texted "wrong button"

 

After several more minutes of everybody staring at each other and doing absolutely nothing, the remaining pugs finally readied up.

 

Match 1 was Dagger Geth, pretty uneventful, though they never left the doughnut room.  Sometime during Wave 8, Moose started yelling profanities though Ventrilo, and I wasn't sure if it was coming from him or from ME3MP, as I've never heard him angry before.  Match 2 was Reactor (nobutton) Cerberus, again, pretty uneventful, though they never left that spot at the bottom of the entrance ramp.  Wave 9 or 10, I did have to call everyone up top to dislodge an Engineer from a Dragoon, as they had gotten stuck on the box in the corner.

 

Match 3, however, was Dagger Collectors, and all hell broke loose on Wave 6.  Only one of them came to the hack circle with me, down by the courtyard.  Enemies were spread all over the map, the 2 wayward pugs were chain reviving each other in the tunnel, and I didn't dare kite around because the one objective-minded pug would surely not have followed.  That was a wipe, and I left to go heat up some leftover soup.

Some time after the forums were rearranged, everyone's read status flags got wiped. If you were on mobile you were royally screwed

Okay at least meet me halfway.  I joined a GiP, Dagger/Cerberus/Gold, with 3 people bleeding out.  My SE ran around meleeing everything.  The host was barking orders at me, which I disregarded.

 

Wave 2 was a repeat of this, only I shot my gun a few times.

 

Wave 3 was a repeat, only with objectives.  The host left during cleanup, meaning objectives had to be redone.  And I got host, which meant Phantoms HAD to be sidearmed.  At least the Scorpion seems to do ok Phantom damage on-host, but half the time I CBA to swap out.

 

The two that remained started dying and bleeding out at the start of every Wave from 7 onwards.  This included Wave 10, which was an Escort.  They never even tried to get there, and had all of about 20k score apiece by that time.

 

So I went to get a much needed hug from a nearby Atlas.  But it wasn't in the mood for hugs, and shot a rocket at me instead.

Glacier Hazard/Collies/Plat

 

I played that pug yesterday, so memory is sketchy. But that match didn´t go so well to put it mildly. Lost a lot of gels due to getting downed whilst RC, gels that were sorely missed later. Meh, I hate collies on glacier.

My lvl10 AA joined a GiP, Hazard White/Collecturds. And while my gal used all the gels and almost all the ops packs, she carried the wave eight, outscored both other players(lvl20 AA and lvl20 AV) by a fair margin and helped with objectives. Managed a full extraction even

 

Cherry on top, I unlocked a Hurrdurrucane! All weapons gathered now... just need to max them.

I didn't, I just made that analogy flat out on the spot, because of how annoyed I was trying to snipe with the javelin through the flamer. I can see through walls with the javelin but I can't see through fire with the javelin.

Note to myself, don´t play after eating spaghetti. Though it had been a few hours, I was still a wee bit tired from it. Result, anything smaller than an atlas was a guaranteed miss, unless I got lucky.

Went through 2 hostmigrations. Missiled everything in sight on w6. Especially dem Marauders. They should have a Phaeston, not some frigging BW. How we managed to make full exfil is beyond me.

Accidentally put falcon instead of valkyrie on my GT (and as it was ~lvl10 it had no flamer) for my U/U/G game.  Was funny "pew pew" game, scored couple of banshee kills by some miracle as well  Low was that I wasnt event last on the scoreboard

The lobby leader was sync killed, along with a pug, and it was me and some other pug left to carry a late Wave of Rio/Reapers.  Lead started getting on his mic and giving orders.  Some of it was useful, some of it was complaining.  He told me to use a rocket, I told him I was saving them for Wave 11.  This started some bickering, and a challenge from him that he would take whatever kit I took next game and outscore me.

 

So I took the Valiant Salarian Infiltrator with Disruptor Ammo.  He matched my kit and loadout, and didn't do too bad, but in the end he was out Salarian'd and had to concede defeat.

 

He suggested we do another round with our "best kits" (aka scorewhoriest kits), and we both took BatSols!  Well we diverged loadouts, he took an Incindiary Reegar, I took the AP Harrier.  We got Glacier, so the map was in his favor.  But by that time we were picking each other up, chatting about random nonsense, and paying more attention to objectives than score.  He placed first that game, but he failed to extract.

 

I suggested a Krogan tiebreaker.  He took Claymore KroSent, I took Venom KroSol.  By now I was chatting on three different mediums (including ME3 texting), and didn't even come close to matching his score due to how distracted I was.  But it didn't matter anymore because we were just stomping around having a good ol' time.

 

That match ended with extra derp, as I stood there headbutting, and headbutted myself right out of the extraction zone right when the shuttle arrived.

 

The entire time, there was one pug who also matched our kits.  The other pug just picked random crap, and was no fun at all.

U/U/S, the host had CP well into five digits and was flying a Lone Wolf banner.  We rolled Reactor/Cerberus.  The host dropped in wave 2 and promptly ragequit.

4 OG AsariDepts with carnifex's on Thessia vs Reapers...so much blue stuff exploding everywhere.. really fast match..was around 17 minutes..2wice we got the damned center hack..but it went smooth...sad panda part was no one returned my heavy melee...

Finally! 

 

I did it mom! I scored the highest in a gold match! I didn't even use a reegar or anything! 

 

Then in my next gold game we all died horribly on wave 10 and I went back to silver.
