Crazy

Ran into a lobby with two players I have done a lot of platinum pugs with in the past, this time I guess they wanted to spice things up - I Think they were running the Diamond mod, didn't realize until a few Waves in, but decided to stay for my first modded game.

That mod is pretty intense, so much more enemy units to fight, so many more Banshees and phantoms around. Extraction wave had tripple Banshees.

Utterly failure. 

A Pug with a name similar to "1aloha" joined my lobby. Rng jesus gave us dagger hazard vs Collectors: I was meleeing as my Krosent, so I didn't noticed until wave 3. Basically, this Puggers was using a Turian Ghost with an Indra... just a wee bit tweaked: he needed 1 seconds flat to kill even possessed Pretorians.

Now... usually I don't really care, especially because my encounters with cheaters are very limited... but not only you're using a crutch kit... you're even overclocking a weapon to kill everything naow. Just why? If you're toting basically a A10 Thunderbolt Gatling Gun, why are you even guesting? And in the name of THE Shepard, how can you score only 100k points more than me with such a weapon? And how can you fail to extract?

around 4am..I was hammered and decided to host and do some common/uncommon weapon points...which I normally do on Silver

we rolled cerby/glacier hazzard...we all good until wave 10 upstairs hack by the ammo box..I got gibbed by a phantom with 20 seconds left on the hack..the random missiled everything until it came down to the game just spawning guardians..I was actually shocked at how many there were in the final part of that wave..at 1 point he was taking on 7 of them at once....He got downed 4 times...He had Lash and had no clue how to get thru their garage doors...I think he got 2 of them thru the mail slot with a charged GPS shot...

Lagfest all over the place.

 

First host had ping 250 msec (Alberta, Canada). It was on Rio versus Reapers where Warlord was hiding in the box of shame. My valiant had sometimes 4 and sometimes 5 shots. I got synced by a brute on wave 8 and we wiped shortly after that.

 

Second game had 370 msec ping with host in Germany. I joined on wave 3 and had 75 kills by end of wave 7. Otherwise, pretty good game, just laggy.

 

Third game was hosted by somebody in Belarus and ping was overwhelming 460 msec. I could not hit anything with claymore, could not hit anything with siege pulse either, could not reload, and was teleporting. Still decide to play along and eventually got some assists, not sure how this happened. Otherwise, pretty good game.

Humiliation 

 

I thought "well, I play turians all the time, why not something different" so I picked a human soldier with Revenant. ComradeShepard7, who I was playing with, chose a Turian Soldier. We started without waiting for two pugs to join in. 

 

...Then two more fat turians drop in. There I was, the sole scummy human in a fat turian trio, and of course the only one with a Turian-themed name. 

 

I am so deeply ashamed of myself. 

 

Then again being a human female surrounded by three fat turians wasn't a terrible experience

Realized that since the game came out I've never played a vanguard on Condor till today....vs Collectors. I normally tear that map up but I ended up with 0 gels on extraction...  definitely learned something new tonight.

Absolutelyshocking.

 

Woke up early Saturday, decided to see what was going on in the glorious land of pUUG. Loaded into a lobby with a Puggernaut, a TGI, and.....damn I can't remember what the host was. Anyway, host had preset to Geth/White, ninja'd to Plat after I loaded in (QMI), but we all readied up. A_rykes was the TGI, SamTraji the Puggernaut, they were sporting BotB and Lone Wolf banners so might be floating around here, idk.

 

Without exaggeration, this game went more smoothly than most Bronze games I've been in. The host was terribad, ended up with <40k iirc, but Sam was an intelligent Puggernaut who actually remembered he had/knew how to use his gun, A_Rykes Harrier TGI'd his way to top score, and I Arc naded the hell out of everything lol. QMI is an underused class imo, maybe even a better Plat option than the TGI b/c his Arc Nade AOE/stun is much more effective than Overload, even specced AOE.

 

Anyway, I had a ton of fun that game, which is something I can rarely say about PUG Plat games I've been in.

was a plat U/U, the host with a geth flamer/acoyte (and knows how to use it) and two other forgetful characters. I had the volus engy... I thought to get some more robust and dps ready but whatever...

 

Geth/ghost.

 

I hate geth plat and that is not the right volus either...

 

all went rocky until wave 5 where i got downed and another silly player decided to revive me in teh banshee hug. the flamer keep it up for another minute then fold...

not 1 single siege pulse fired the entire game...not 1    ...not even a pity shot at a husk  

 

This is why I wish we had friendly fire turned on..I would have nuked all 3 of them

 

 

 

 

 

 

side-note... Kill Denied .. I got grabbed by a banshee..forgot which wave..but a ravager was shooting me when she picked me up..so I was already dead

Played a whole game of London/Reapers/Gold with a cat draped over my keyboard.  Somehow he managed to activate all my thermal clips and half my op packs by wave 3.

As in like 10 fps on the host's side, I was doing fine but the geth were moving around like a slideshow. My grenades and acolyte only worked like half the time but on the other hand I could side step all the rockets and siege pulses so that was interesting. Host wound up with like 30k, and they were one of those people with huge n7 scores, didn't notice their cp because I bailed the lobby before it rotated into view.

Decide to play my melee destroyer with multi frags and hawk missiles and venom and striker and drop into a game in progress where two geth infiltrators are trying to snipe from the tower. Hehehe sorry guys.

Nope, I quit.

 

Dropped into a lobby of 2 BOTB holders and a decent high CP holder...they was an MQI w Claymore...a Talon w Hurricane.(no consumables)<--was one of the BOTB.. Myself..I was running an Indra GI...

 

Rolled..Ghost Hazard  Collectors.....  I had to carry waves 1-4 ..they all died /bled out.. By the time we got to wave 5..I had already got 50k...the 3 of them combined for 16k....LOL...Nope....Have fun..you are all obviously the BOTB ..so you don't need me.. I bailed

These DS pugs are all activating private voice chat on me for "Halp me & Praise the Sun!" priority missions. And they're all like how I always imagined pugs to be like. Fresh out of diapers. So by comparison, ME3mp pugs are much older. Just a neat observation and comparison to the only two multiplayer games I've ever played.

 

Still, great times pugging as always, regardless of age.
