5 mother loving times in a row...got Geth..I must have wasted close to 30 geth primes tonight...LOL.I tried certain shotguns on the Salarian bros. that I never tried before.....I did a Salarian Eng. w Raider..beautiful..then I ran with a Salaran Infil w Claymore...I was so happy.(since against geth)..tears came to these eyes....

 

I have a "slight" problem of presetting Reapers and people asking for Geth (Which doesn't bother me). I just usually run FE or BE characters, and they love reapers. The sad part is, I also love Collectors, but my PS3 doesn't. I do, however, detest Cerberus and their ninja bitches.

Knew I should've taken that Russian language course...seems I upset a couple of pugs, given they spent the best part of two games talking about me.  Admittedly, first game was a bit cheesy, BatSol Harrier, but I was pugging and haven't played in a few weeks.  And I could have grenade spammed way harder than I did.

Only one is Russian (girl) and I can speak russian. We don't like soloing player in co-op multiplayer with 3 more team member. You'll be welcome when you understand it. Nothing personally.

Jade / Geth    ..I didn't die once until wave 9..during that wave with the double prime invasion w their pets ..I died twice and gelled both times... a random turns on his mic & starts yelling at me.." Hey Salarian dude...I was standing right next to you, you better stop using your medi-gel or the next time you die, I won't resurrect you".     <---what? I am okay...you didnt revive me either time..I think I will be fine for the rest of this match..thanks for kinda caring?....weirdo.

 

When's the last time you yelled at somebody for using their medi-gel & told them to stop doing that or else you would just let them die?

PALadin

 

Minimal use of snap freeze - the only times the paladin PUG used it were to slow down and debuff big armored targets. The PUG actually used ED, incinerate and shield bash quite a bit. I'm pretty sure he got more cryo explosions from his cryo shield than snap freeze.  

 

Wave 10 device - I was half way through the 3rd one and there were 2 primes and a bunch of pyro+bombers headed my way. I was about to stop disabling the device and pull out my missile launcher but the Paladin comes and deploys his shield deflecting all the prime siege pulses. Great stuff!

The most fun and challenging plat game I've ever played.  Waves included geth primes that released 3 x combat drones at a time, and their siege pulse was effectively an entire clip of adas rounds (homing).  aside from the primes, possessed scions delivered 2 x grenades with each shot, and a couple waves included 3 x Banshees.  Oh yeah, and the extraction wave (double scion, praetorian, double banshee, double prime, phantom) lasted 5 minutes.  Somehow we managed full extraction in 22 min.  And the host (VanishedOne) was completely badass with the fury.  Props for sacrificing yourself to revive me outside of the LZ during extraction.

After 2 failed solo robberies this morning could not find gold lobby, searched 5 times to no avail. **** it onto silver, changed to Shadow since I'm still trying my best to figure her out. GIP Condor/toasters, wave 2, some dips*** screaming kid, like I had died and went back three years to COD hell. He was running QFI and absolutely going ape**** when someone killed something he sabotaged. I mean screaming. So I spend the next 8 rounds trolling him in true BSN style shadow striking all sabotaged toasters I could find and hearing him scream like I took his candy. And of course, letting his skull appear on screen. It was the only way to assuage my frustration with playing the toasters on that God awful map with three garbage PUGS even though it was silver. The dip****, even spamming sabotage all he could, had less than 12k on a silver. And the screaming, please make it stop. Thanks PSN for not having any gold lobbies available this morning. No matter what happened to me today, it could only get better.

Send me a friend request, we'll see what we can do about saving you from PUGs. PSN gets some really stupid PUGs, especially on Silver. (Which is probably why my wife only plays Bronze, too many dipshits on Silver).

So I load up a Novaguard and do a quick search for UUG... almost instantly find myself hosting a full lobby, of course. I don't usually host, but I also don't like dropping a full lobby and I figured it'd be nice to vanguard on host for a change, so I went with it.

 

Hazard Glacier Collectors was the mission. What else would I be hosting with my blazing fast internet connection?

 

Our team of Novaguard, Krosol, FQE and Cabal did reasonably well (clearly four of the most common classes to find in a pug). No one seemed to be doing any unintentional teleporting, despite my estimation that the Krosol was ten time zones away (indeed, we duo'd a wave or two).

 

To add to the fun, I am pretty sure everyone took a turn "distracting" a Praetorian so that other team members could safely attack it.

 

GG, at least as much as it was entertaining -- which is what matters.

Whereupon we had one of the smoothest Plat games in a long time, despite some situations I've seen absolutely ruin lesser teams (two escorts through the middle on Dagger).  Juggernaut did keep putting down the shield in an inconvenient spot, but that aside, for a pug game, it was excellent.  It honestly felt like I was playing with friends, it was that relaxed and smooth.

Had a miraculous "I don't know how the hell we survived that" Gold on London last night. And I've also had those "WTF How was that so smooth?!" moments on Dagger (One of which was after a very painless Wave 10 Escort through the bottom area).

I keep meaning to give Fluffy a bit  of a dust and polish and drag him out of retirement.

Haven't used the Juggernaut in about 18 months.

Maybe longer.

 

Just not sure if I could keep him on his feet (claws/wheels) though.

Does anyone else get that can't get into a gold match thing happening to you as well?

 

Like twice a week this happens..I will do a search for unknown gold...and every single time I get the WFOP screen and it's dead silent..sometimes when I got WFOP I could hear the game actually going on.... I will quit a search ..start again...same thing for 30 or more minutes...very frustrating ..every single time WFOP..sometimes I even turn off/on my xbox..start a new search..same thing..I start my own lobby...wait 20 minutes..nothing happens

For 2 straight nights...in 10 straight matches of searching for unkown gold...I have gotten Geth 

 

I think I deserve a prize...I swear to the one true god from battlestar galactica..I have killed 50+ Primes within the past 48 hours

 

sooo many hunters have been sent to the toaster's scrap yard...On Jade I watched several rocket troopers kill themselves while trying to shoot me coming up the back-left spawn area...

Played a bunch of Platinum games.

 

It went all very smooth, with successful full evac at all times. Shot a bunch of Phantom heads, that was always a good feeling, hahaha.

 

Learned a bunch of new Spanish words too. Had good laugh as well in more than one occasions. All in all, a very pleasant experience. In fact, come to think of it, last night was one of my most relaxing Platinum runs ever.

Right before teh_ocelot invited me for some games, i got a GIP, Hazard Giant/Collecturds. Wave 3, grabbed and killed immeadiately by abomb, gel and try to figure out what is going on. Middle hack, two skulls they quit so it's me and puggernaut. I'm Fury, just swarms everywhere. Get through hack. Wave 4, I get gutted by Praetorian, wave 5, go down at end of wave, don't gel. Wave 6 targets, I missile first 2, run to 3rd at top of ramp get gutted again as I turned corner. Quickest, no way to react grab evah. Puggernaut finishes the targets, goes down, bleeds out. Host left message, get back to lobby, I didn't get my 35k credits, that I needed to replenish after that ****show. Sent a very strongly worded message to the quitter. No response

I suck.  Came in wave 5ish, go through the levels at wave 10 deactivate the devices, I get the first 3 one guy is backing me up the other 2 are playing score ******.  they both suck enough to get curb stomped and the guy who had my back went to rez them and got curb stomped.  Final device was basically encircled in pain.  I missile launchered the atlas, i freaking missed the turret and as I tried to grab some cover I stepped into the line of fire of a guardian.  Used all 3 of my medi-gel(yes that is all I can carry so far) trying to save that one but still failed. I fully admit I got flustered and went for the device instead of playing it smart falling back and clearing the area before going back in.  My drone probably could have kept them off me for long enough if I had done that.  But I mindlessly charged the device trying to get it done.

 

Still I prefer blaming others so , I blame them for crappy teamwork more than me.

174K.  Smooth sub-25 U/U/P PUG vs Collectors on Reactor.  It was a trio (GT, AHI, KS (me)), and at extraction we were all within 1000 pts of each other.  We each scored 174,XXX.  What are the odds!?

felt good for the Fury to get the 15 revives medal for once, instead of being the one handing it out on the other hand, if you need the Fury to revive your teammates over 15 times, the match probably wasn't very smooth. Reactor/Geth/Gold, still managed partial extraction: newbies camping the EZ while the Fury that took them that far is cooling her heels on the opposite side of the map do not get revive attempts, sorry

I've never had a Goddess Collectors (Gold) game that was quite so relaxing. We were a Huntress (host), GI Crusader, Vorcha sent, and DA (me). Objectives were pizza, targets, hack, and they got incrementally easier as we figured out how to work together, to the point where the wave 10 hack (in the lab... admittedly the easiest hack on that map) was a breeze. Finished with just over 16 minutes on the clock, which was a surprise because it didn't feel like we were moving that fast.

 

Who knew teamwork could be effective?
