I guess not technically a PUG since 3 of us were invites, but finally got to run a few with jmac1424 last night, some relatively quick and painless Gold/Plat games. Adepts to start, some engie games in the middle, good times.

Out of 4 games I can only think of maybe three waves that got rough. Engineers on Vancouver was ridiculously fun. You're a damn good player, really enjoyed the games

Yeah when you're teamed up with some competent players it'll spoil you quick haha, it's hard for me to go back to pUUG's after playing with you all. That Engie game was truly enjoyable, explosions and toaster pieces all over the place

The game was Hazard Dagger/Collectors/Gold with N7Penguin.  We had a Drell Infiltrator pug, and I think a Juggernaut.  Early in the game, I downed Penguin and the Drell with a delayed explosive Cryo Possessed Abomination.  I revived Penguin, the Drell ragequit.

Sheeeaatt, you were crushing the score, regardless of your kit, so I wasn't lying about that. The exploding toaster pieces were pretty awesome

This dumb TGI didn't push with me to get the final device and blow everything up with the missile.

Annoyed the hell out of me because he stayed back there and didn't want to cover me and missile the phantom horde when I attempted to get the final device.

 

Luckily he got the final device at 0:00, fkn hero clutch master scumbag turian teammate sighhh

Today she was on her Banshee account.  That is her favourite kit because it is easy to project herself onto it.

 

I thought I would spec a BatGuard for the first time ever and try out Hatesurfing.  Just when I was starting to get the hang of it, Amelia showed up to show off Hatemagneting:

Last night me , justinman114 & Swan Killer were doing a few matches...I hosted for a couple of em...this one match in particular.. I went with Havoc w Typhoon...one of my favorite combos  

 

Rolled White / Cerberus    ...Phantoms said flip my cryo blast, cuz instead of bubbling up, they would flip..

Havoc strike..flip me..cuz they would just flip   ...cryo blast again..as soon as they bubbled..they flipped..sometimes they bubbled as they were flipping...             once I got 2 of them on the balcony..just flipping away like it was a ballet

 

Needless to say it's been a really long time since I have dealt with on-host phantoms....

Just so used to playing off host...hit em w a power=== bubble, then head shot    <-----good times

Got the bright idea to put a Batarian Gauntlet on a Geth Soldier.  Hey he's got the Fortification Melee Bonus, and a running AoE Heavy Melee for 4800 damage per pulse, what could possibly go wrong?!

 

Pugs, that's what.

 

Wave 1 was a catastrophe.  That host should delete ME3 from his hard drive and never play any online game ever again.  After the migration, I ended up host and things went ok, but even with a Cyclonic IV my Melee GS was going down a lot more than I would have liked.  Two of the pugs were little more than decoys.  By end of Wave 10, I had a good 30k lead on the guy with a BotB KroSent, so I wasn't doing too bad.

 

Wave 11, Mister BotB KroSent started nuking spawns.  He wasn't going to catch up to me, but after soloing all objectives on all three objective waves, this tends to irritate me.  I spawned a Cain Launcher and nuked a few spawns myself, and fired a few at his feet to show him who's boss around here.

 

Back in the lobby, I texted that perhaps this would have worked better on a GI instead, and left the game.

Host was an Asari Valkyrie, we had a Puggernaut, then we had a BotB N7 Paladin who readied up with no equipment.  I've been in a Batarian kind of mood lately so I knew my trusty BatSol was about to educate this fool.

 

The game was Hydra/Cerberus/Gold.  As soon as we got in, I texted an ambiguous "why would you do that to yourself?"  11 Waves later and I had 135k to the Paladin's 70k.  To his credit, he did get 2nd place.  Good, but not nearly good enough.

 

Back in the lobby, I equipped another set of gear and readied up, before texting "equipment helps a lot, you should use some BlueTiger".  He promptly left the lobby.  I texted to the remaining members that my work here was done, and made my own exit.

I have found that the best way to handle Phantoms flipping around is just to use Javelin.

 

I mean, you can't flip around without a head attached to your body, can you

 

Anyways, lots of people with really really low CP/N7 playing Gold right now--at one point I even get a 15 revive medal which was a first for me, hahaha.

 

One particularly low-level player even made it to a platinum match using... *cue music*... Geth Juggernaut. Of course he/she went down like 10 times in every wave... though in the end we managed to get a full extraction regardless.

 

Oh and the Trollstore finally gave me Javelin X

ME has stopped working!  Screen Freeze right there. Wave 10, clean up after eliminating high profile target #4. Just leveling my engineers.  No XP, no cash, used medigel while trying to be reckless as a human engineer.  I do much better with the FQE.  Might be gun choice, wraith slaughters, the tempest 1(sadly my best SMG, I have no luck of the draw with them) at least with my aim takes a while to kill people.  I had burninating ammo so I wanted a not instant kill so I could detonate people.

Went in there with no expectations on my performance. Game was surprisingly smooth on my side. Died for the first time on w7. Rezzed fallen mates, helped with objectives, shot stuff in da face, debuffed da big stuff. Netted myself nearly 180k. Only downside, the Havoc that came to my aid on w11 was shortly afterwards synced. Due to lag, ML didn´t come out fast enuff. Sry for that m8!

I have a similar issue with SMGs.  None of my SMG URs are above a level III, yet my freaking Spitfire is at level VIII (thrillsville).

Cheaters. not sure of all the cheats running even. 1 way too much cash.  2 i was gunning down primes like nobodies business.  I was using a wraith1 with incinderary 3 and shotgun amp 3 but still crap died fast.  insane fast.  I had assumed most the match that someone with a super gun was doing all the work. oh and a small extra dmg buff from my cryo blast, but not the buffed.  I always wondered why I wasn't lucky enough to get into a cheater game with the ma loot, now I kind of wish i hadnt.  Ah well, gor a geth plasma SMG out fo the deal woo. side note eve with cheats I should never be the top score.  cheater dude, try harder.  If they are going to cheat why not go super big?  Is 500k the limit or something, why not 5 mil per match?

Actually had one of those once (and only once). Got 8 million credits from that match. Praetorians and Scions were one-shot-able, didn't matter which weapon you had.
