Joined a game on cleanup of wave 3 Hazard Giant, Collectors. I looked at the score and saw that, of the four of us, one player had nearly 20k and no one else was over 5k, so assumed that 20k was the host and had started solo. Given that one other player had joined with me, it seemed like a natural conclusion.

 

Wave 4 starts and one of the other players drops early. Before anyone could get to them I find myself waiting for host migration. When the dust settles it appeared that I was now host and Mr. 20k was still there. Fair 'nuff... I've seen plenty of new players recently, so I can piece together a new hypothesis for what happened before, not that it really matters.

 

We're soon joined by a HE to round out our TGI, Juggernaut, and FQE (me), and proceed to tear into the hapless minions of Harbinger.

 

Wave 10 is an escort mission. Everyone's been doing well to this point, but the HE could clearly be seen just standing in the open before dropping out (probably lost connection between waves). We remaining three clear the objective and nearly have the last scion down when I crash to desktop. 

 

That's not a fun objective to duo on wave 10 Collectors, and with the last scion standing they'll have to repeat the wave, assuming they didn't also drop out. Ouch. Sorry PuGs. Of course, that's if I was hosting, as opposed to the host being in the next room

I was playing my vanilla HMadept. My favorite class so far.

I walked into a lobby with 2 furies. Didn't matter where I threw a warp the target was primed. It felt like I'd turned on a cheat mode or something. Wave 5 or so one dropped and we picked up a soldier of some kind. I actually had to prime some of my own explosions. That's the work of my underlings. It's so hard to find good help these days.

Hadn't had to pug in a few days,friends have been on lately, but damn I miss the stories and good times.
I Fury up since it Glacier, 2 low level puggernauts and a Huntress with 2 UR X. Should be a breeze and it was. It must have been 2 easy. Wave 5 host puggernaut was meleeing brute and I threw DC on it and killed it. He fires a missile at me. So i go into troll mode in response. Wave 6 targets, I killed 1st 2 brutes with a couple of BEs each. Couldn't make my way to other 2 until later and finally find host puggernaut meleeing again. I BE it for kill. Wave 7 just boom booming everything and finally host puggernaut had enough and quit. Only about 60k behind. Huntress was in 2nd at time about 20k behind quit 2. So me and other puggernaut left, after wave restart I nuke spawn, he quits. I pretty much clear wave after restart and my knight in shining armor TMB903 shows up to score about 70k in 2.5 waves as TSent. Good tradeoff I thought

Tired of doing this..was a Reapers / Giant game....me..a Salarian Infil w Venom  ..the others... a Reegar KroLord...A TGI w PPR and a DrellDept w Talon...

 

by wave 8 I had 170k...number 2 had around 56k....#3 & 4 had 56k combined....

 

I had to do wave 6 devices..by myself..& wave 10 devices by myself...The KroLord got picked up at least 6 times...as soon as the banshees arrived..he was dead...Drell just kept bleeding out..I think the TGI forgot to spec into Stim Packs...

 

I don't want to PUG anymore...help me out BSN

Add in the no-equipment no-clue n00bs trying to play Gold (And Silver) and you have why my Alt Account suffers so much. Armoured Compartments was a beautiful gear to unlock! Since the trollstore had denied me any Cobra upgrades, and I ended up carrying ALL THE FREAKING TIME, now I get to carry 3 Cobras, and Tempest VI!

Absolutely right.  One guy came in at N7 level 23 and I was like... you gotta be kidding me.  For some reason, the usual guys I play with aren't online.  And now I'm having to be subjected to crappola players!

I tried to talk that Xbawks scrub Moby into getting a PS4 last year so he could experience TLOU but alas it didn't work. It's easily in my top 5 ever without a doubt.

I really enjoyed the ending of it because it's the same thing most of us would have done. The father daughter relationship that bloomed between Joel and Ellie is awesome to see unfold. Oh and Bill FTW. He is pretty hilarious and that segment of the game was my favorite.

I melee'd a marauder with my demolisher, at which point it wandered away, ran around a corner, back, looked at me, then the melee explosion randomly appeared on his face and he died. Fabulous!

I also had a match where all the enemies were invisible; no health bars, no bullet impact effects, nothing. Fortunately I was still playing the demogirl and I could just saturate the area with arc nades. The saddest part was I didn't even get the worst score. Most fun i've had in a while.

But every other difficulty, nope, you play with friends, 'cause PUGs wont gel, wont missile, wont revive, and will probably not even try to help (Especially for objectives).

Dat PS3 PUG life. I wouldn't trade it for anything though. Not all PUGS are bad however. I come across a decent amount of players who are at least trying. They don't kill much but as long as they try objective waves then I don't really care.

It was amazing it all started with me playing the demo girl, xan (host) played demo after that, then firerider100 wanted to play the demo. 

 

It ended up being a 3 demo girl lobby + 1 n7 slayer pug on firebase glacier, cerberus on plat.

Nice and quick. Joined a gold game at wave 6 and it was with my buddies.  We tore right through Cerberus!

Joined a fun game (Glacier, Reapers, Gold) with my Shaman. In it were a group of TSent, Paladin, and Collector that were doing pretty well as a team. When we got back to the lobby I couldn't help but check their loadouts, and saw: Hornet I, Avenger V, Predator V. If it weren't for the hot mess that was wave 11 I might have assumed they were mostly alt accounts (also, the amusing attempts at humour/defence with the Paladin's shield).

 

Well played, new blood. I was a bit disappointed the host dropped out after; I wanted to see more, especially with them readying up both a Drell and Volus adept, and a Novaguard.

Crashed. Like every 1 in 4 games now crashes on wave 8 or so. It's not like during load or anything, just random. Sigh. Sorry pugs.
