2 pugs tonight the host leaves as money/xp is being tallied I get enough XP to level, some nice cash and then when I reset to new lobby the money and XP are gone. Of course the consumables I used didn't come back...

Kinda Decent

 

I was really skeptical about this PUG.  The best-looking other player was a GI with a Hurricane III.  The worst was a low-N7 Paladin with a Locust I.  We got Vancouver/Reapers/Gold, and I was expecting a bloodbath.  It ended up being really easy.  The GI seemed to know what he was doing for the most part, and did a ton of damage with his Hurricane.  The Paladin mostly avoided dying and actually ended up scoring over 80k.  I think I used 2 Ops Packs and 1 Medigel the entire game, even though we had to 3-man it through waves 9-11, and even though I was half-drunk and couldn't aim straight.  My reward:  a precious Black Widow IX.  One more to go!

Something possessed me to PUG platinum.  I searched for a lobby, somehow became the host of one that was already occupied by two others, they were fully geared with consumables and equipped with harriers and reegars so I figured why not, I'm hosting so let's use the trusty but dusty (and perhaps a little rusty) disruptor talon N7 Slayer.  A fourth came by who didn't accomplish much but myself and the first two pulled our weight, co-operated, and fully extracted.

Couldn't find a gold match so dropped it down to silver.  My cryo soldier started a duo with a Jugg, and was later joined by another Jugg.  The host inevitably says, "Hey with two Juggs we're totally ready for platinum gold, I'll preset the map and we can get some extra credits!"  I quietly rolled my eyes but they were actually half decent, using their guns and siege pulses as well as melee where appropriate, so when the match ended I switched to my Jugg as well.  The host preset Glacier, we were joined by a fourth who we also convinced to switch to their Jugg, and Jugg nation had a Jugg party vs. heretic geth.

Just came here to report my first team Pug Bronze PC game mission against Hazard White Cerberus; Success. Full extraction. 

 

Headshot medal; somehow I got 20 with the Valiant and my still very rusty aiming skills. Not thanks to auto-aim which was aiming who knows where when the enemy was right in front of me and lined up already. But much thanks to the crazy amount of mooks on Bronze. Also got 4 mailslot shots.

 

Scoreboard; was hanging on to number 1 up till during wave 10 hack objective. No peircing didn't help against turtling behind anything I can't penetrate Cerberus. During wave 11 I remembered I specced into Nades for my Human Soldier and had two clip packs. Numero 1 of Broze status; Achieved.

Had a couple of PUGs with 4 Turian soldiers in the same lobby. The soldier is not one of my favorites but I couldn't miss an opportunity like that. One was a havoc covering our flanks and taking out stray mooks. Everyone helped with objectives and I got some good head shots with my sweet Saber. I guess TTTurian lovers would have liked a such a PUG.

Biosynergy.

 

Did a few quick UUG matches last evening before resuming my ME2 FemSentShep campaign and found myself in an all-biotic lobby.

Loaded my Huntress for Hydra/bugs, my SmashLashDept for Ghost/Cerbs, and my BoySent for Goddess/Reapers.

 

Biotic co-op gameplay at its finest.  They were all rock solid players...not a single N7 19 scrub among them.

 

Edit:  I LOVE following & detonating a snaking DC with my HSent.  And that last game had 2 DC casters (ACA & Fury).  Rapid fire kabooms.

I've done that!

Made a thread a year or two ago called "hipster builds". Tried a few, AHless Fury w/BW was of my top two favourites. Requires a lot of wallhax but since she can port through walls it becomes sort of it's own meta game. Gets old, but is fun for a bit. (Which really sums up most kits in this game...)

 

The other was Cloakless Asari Inf. Compared to her cloaking counterpart, she's a tough b*tch.

I had time for a couple of Platinum pug games very late last night,

I Went with the TGI/Valkyrie and started my own lobby. Two very average looking pugs joined, so I equipped AP IV and target VI III consumables, and shortly after the two morons kicked me from my own lobby, I was so surprised I didn't even understand what happened at first, then I just laughed at the PUG stupidity.

So I joined some random Platinum pug lobbies and had two great games instead - TGI/Valkyrie can really do a good job.

Found a great lobby and added a handful of gold games to my tally (it's now around 30). Then we tried a Platinum game on Giant which was my 1st ever. I just noticed it when the countdown began and thought why not.There's gotta be a 1st time for everything  .

 

Ofc I finished last with a 55k score. I could have contributed more if I hadn't let myself get Banshee hugged twice early in the waves. Still, it was great fun to try, and we had a full extraction.

Played my first mod, low gravity mod. Haven't played it in years.

Turns out it's significantly harder than normal for less payout cause back then bioware banned people.
It was not very fun. Well, dying a lot. Enemies flying were fun.

Yesterday I promoted all my characters, then started playing uug, and dropped in with these 2 guys with mics. Giant reapers, Extracted ok.

They decided they were ready for platinum, they didn't even have lvl x rares or uncomons and most of my characters were lvl 1. But I thought why not. They chose their 2 jugs, I chose my justicar lvl 1 the other was an asari infiltrator. And it was reapers plat London. But we survived to wave 3 and I thought 'we might do this' then we did a pizza and a 4 terminals then wave 10 was central hack(isn't it always?) there were quite a few scenarios where 3 were down and 1 was reviving, then they went down while the person they revived was reviving, then they died and someone else was reviving etc. Then a flurry of missiles and we did it. And fully extracted.

Then was rio! Tried the box of shame, gave up, and held a hallway off to the side with their 2 jugs, and my lvl 1 volus engineer, and the asari. Lots of shield boosting and dying and heavy meleeing and shooting was done by all. And we extracted.

Then giant. Which was easy and we extracted yet again! Great matches.

So I'm hosting a game with a TSol with a Collector Assault Rifle playing with a Slayer, a Collector Adept, and the jamoke, an N7 Demolisher.

 

Playing a gold pug with Flowey and a jamoke joins. I ask him to put on some equipment, and after a few mins of waiting he slaps on Cryo ammo II and a Shield Booster.

 

Jamoke replies: "Don't need quipment"

Me: "It's gold, equipment only makes things easier for yourself and everyone else."

Jamoke: "I try not to rely on equipment."

Me *facepalm*: "Then you're a moron."

 

At this point, I make it my mission to troll him as hard as I can... FOR PALAVEN. Hey Geoff Prime, wanna kick some human ass? Follow me to the ammo spawning device! Oh, what's that human? You got taken down by Goff Pyro? Here, taste these turian nuts! Aw, Pyro y u stomp him?

 

Game ends, pug Slayer *I'm the host* outdoes him in 3rd place with 45k+ more points than his scrubby Demolisher camping build.

Me: "Nice score." *the Jamoke scored 43k on Gold*

Jamoke: "This is my support build and if you guys weren't taking so many of my kills I would have done better."

Me: *gets on mic* "Here's a protip: Maybe if  you used equipment you'd actually kill things. The Slayer off host did waaaay better than you!"

Jamoke: "I don't know why you get so butthurt over equipment. I never need to use it."

Me: "******..."

 

*Jamoke gets kicked*
