Yesterday I promoted all my characters, then started playing uug, and dropped in with these 2 guys with mics. Giant reapers, Extracted ok.

They decided they were ready for platinum, they didn't even have lvl x rares or uncomons and most of my characters were lvl 1. But I thought why not. They chose their 2 jugs, I chose my justicar lvl 1 the other was an asari infiltrator. And it was reapers plat London. But we survived to wave 3 and I thought 'we might do this' then we did a pizza and a 4 terminals then wave 10 was central hack(isn't it always?) there were quite a few scenarios where 3 were down and 1 was reviving, then they went down while the person they revived was reviving, then they died and someone else was reviving etc. Then a flurry of missiles and we did it. And fully extracted.

Then was rio! Tried the box of shame, gave up, and held a hallway off to the side with their 2 jugs, and my lvl 1 volus engineer, and the asari. Lots of shield boosting and dying and heavy meleeing and shooting was done by all. And we extracted.

Then giant. Which was easy and we extracted yet again! Great matches.

Why do people hate Rio or resort to the box? It's not that hard. Spawn control is among the easiest of maps, especially when they spawn away from the LZ. The most experienced player can solo the back section with the containers and ammo boxes while two take the middle and cover one support that goes to and fro the middle and the container area. Admittedly, the central hack can be challenging, but you've got two ammo boxes and RHA with decent cover. 80% of success is based on spawn control.

I find the people that wind up going to the box, usually can't handle Gold. the more they keep over there, the harder the lesson they are going to learn. that game .cuz I alway's start each wave in the center of Rio,..blocking that center spawn and forcing a spawn into the back left area opposite the Box.. then I determine which spawn to attack..Obviously the spawn to the left of the Box is much easier to control..I always come down the ramp to the right side..and go down the middle alley leading towards the box..then start in on that spawn..makes that map really easy...but Wave 10 devices on anything that isn't reapers....meh.....

 

 

side note...when facing Collectors on waves 8-9.. I do find it much easier to pair up on both sides..2 near the box and 2 on the opposite back area...and just funnel them into the middle as much as possible..takes forever getting thru all of that possessed armor...and also causes really bad traffic jams making it easier for the team

Unintentional gold. I fire up my volus merc load him with my tempest 4 that's right 4. Slap on geth scanner and disruptor rounds 2. Go u/u/silver. It drops me into a London/Cerberus/gold wave 2.

It's me a volus engineer and 2 infiltration units. I didn't come in last. But I'd of loaded up with a real gun if I thought I was going to gold. Having to use multiple clips to kill a sentinel is not fun. Yes I need to LTP maybe better aim would head shot enough to get this done with one clip. Since I wasn't expecting gold I didnt have any other gear like a smg amp.

Used all my missiles all my gels. The missiles were mostly frivolous I freaking hate you phantom shots. The only left 2 semi legit ones were covering a gel and during wave 6 a turret was set up right next to a device with a long stretch of no cover. The tempest was doing nothing so I missled the damn thing and ran to the device.

We finished so um good. I was the only one not to extract. I think the scores were something like 200+k 150ishK my 42?k with my level 19 metc and the volus engineer level 10 40k?

At one point I realized that I did not used my missiles and that is NOT going to happen: blasted some poor enemy with a rocket in DA FACE.

I've played several plat games today, all to extraction and even in reasonable times. I've been feeling scrubby and playing the huntress

Was not looking forward to grinding Krysae points when I stumbled into a lobby where my krysae one-shotted everything including Atlases. Finished the challenge in one game. Thanks, mysterious hacker!

Also I got magnet handed across the map on wave 11 for good measure, I know I was never gonna get make it through extraction with a 300 ping Iag.

Sometimes I hate playing ME3 MP and not because I can't "L2PLAY HURR HURR GET GOOD SCRUB", only because I get in games where the connection puts me back 4 seconds, in the past so when a banshee stares at me I don't get to see that she casted the warp, so I have to pre-emptively predict that she already casted the warp even though it doesn't like initially on my screen. Same applies to praetorians they give me the death stare and I die instantly, and atlases.

 

Also with melee attacks from enemies, I have to dodge further then what their range is intended to be.

Wanted to complete the AR challenge for the Xth time, so I thought who's better to use the GPR with, than TGI? So I did.

And I outscored some try-hard PUGz by 80-120k. Yes, with the Geth Pulse Rifle. Then kick-votes came.  

I chuckled.

 

ps: I assume one of them was a closeted BSNer too, because they cheesed the hack circle.

I just teamkilled my fellow Geoffs with GE GPR. After having to solo most of wave 8 and 9, I managed to carry everyone into W11, though one guy decided to camp the LZ and well, you know. Managed all gold medals (20HS, 75AR, 5 grabs, 15 revives) except for assists and tech kills. Pugs were good enough to want to learn so I-Waiting For Other Players

 

Game 2 in Hazard Ghost Reapers, did pretty well with BatSol Vindicator though I had to cheese with fire and boy was that even a challenge. I think it's best used on an Engineer for its great ability to prime tech explosions. Managed to do well so I deci-WAITING FOR OTHER PLAYERS

 

 

Game 3 was Giant Cerberus and I took out the ol' SI with Widow to rek some Atlases. Felt great to snipe on host as getting headshots and quick scoping was no problem. Great game again with 75SR kills, 5 grabs, 10HS, 5 revives, and 50 assists because there was a terrible AIU scrub and a Paladin who had no idea what Energy Drain and Incinerate were. So much Snap Cheez that I just stopped using ED on everything but phantoms and shieled atlases. Fun, but had memory leak toward the end. Okay, game. Do your WFOP shi- oh? No black screen? Too bad my next game could enter slideshow mode or freeze. Fahk et mang.

Costly tuition? Yeah, I'm still paying my student loans off, but at least college cheerleaders are mature enough.

Ran into a guy named Bad_Hostility on PC, he switches to Reegar AIU and activates the pissing contest so I switch to Raider GI.

 

He can't keep up with me at wave 2 (or the 2nd place GPS GE PuG) and starts ranting in a language I can't quite pin down(not going to magnify my ignorance by trying to guess... My excuse is that it was super drunk slurred and mic distorted).

 

So he then sits idle at LZ for the rest of the match. Not AFK, idle. He pops up to cloak or missile if things get too close. Wave 6 devices pops up and he chases me to every device and Reegars me while I'm activating. Wave 10 pops up and he manages to get the 2nd package and tries to kite it away from LZ... I get on mic and get the team to stop killing things, we manage to get the guy into Ravager LOS and take him out. Incoherent drunken ranting ensues and he leaves his mic open on white noise so I have to turn off my sound until the end.

 

I pop my sound on as the shuttle is landing and he's still going off... Get back to the lobby and he tries to put a votekick on me so I close up shop.

I've seen a lot but this one game takes the cake, honestly the first assault troopers I killed no problem, then after that I legit did 0 damage, 0 fkn damage the entire game. I would of rather got rubberband lag then do absolute no damage. I would've been stuck with a score of 3245 all the way until wave 11 because none of my powers worked and my gun does no damage.

Sabotaged.

 

Had a scumbag teammate sabotage the game by hogging the wave 10 object until the timer ran out. I wasn't even salty more or less the pugs should be salty because I already maxed my manifest.

 

And I bet it was before this pug, I was wrecking everything on host on another pug game. and realised why I don't host because everything is too easy on host, and this guy who was in my game previously when I was host decided to sabotage the wave 10 objective during the game when I was off host. 

 

I made maybe least over 20+ people on PS3 rage at me on the PS3 version of ME3 MP over the course of playing ME3 MP since the beginning quite funny actually.

 

Just another day and another game of salty people getting mad at me on PS3 as per usual.

Been playing with the Smashdept on Gold lately. Two days ago, I was wrecking the scoreboard. First place in 3 games. I could do no wrong.

 

Yesterday, the complete opposite. I got wrecked so bad. I think all my teammates got revive medals just from me alone. I sent them all apology messages since I did so badly. I was able to redeem myself somewhat when UUG gave us Geth/Giant.

I played a couple matches last night with Justinman and a friend of mine and we were joined by a random (gangstageneral) who showed me that if you aren't using all of your consumables wave 1 you're doing it wrong.

He also had to use a stability mod since he was holding his locust sideways...

This session on PC is dedicated to TheTechnoTurian!  I deployed my turian soldier and used the venom shotgun for the first time.  I didn't know how to use it and kept getting shot by geth primes until I realized I could charge the shotgun.  Charged shot plus concussive shot spam was pretty nice.  I had a good handle of the shotgun after one match.  Great shotgun.  Perhaps, too powerful. lol.

Playing a vanguard, krogan vanguard on RIO against reapers and sporadically everything I did missed, and everything ignored me.  Usually about 15 seconds into this mess all of a sudden I'd appear in the central tower no matter where I was on the map previously usually mid heavy melee attempt.  I couldn't lock on with powers and I didn't want to waste ammo.  At least after appearing in the central tower I could then attack enemies.  At least until the next lag attack.

Land in a lobby with three others that were in a party, they preset to Goddess/Geth, which IMO is one of the worst combos, but whatever, I just wanted to play. We actually stick together for most of the game, I help with objectives of course, revive when I can. Then comes extraction and things go to hell. Wave starts and it looks like one guy stopped playing, gets downed 3 seconds in, the other two run to the LZ and, of course, die. So it's just me left, with 1 missile to spare. I'm running around for 2 minutes like Benny Hill, and use my remaining missile to clear a path to the LZ with 4 seconds to spare. Lone Survivor, but hey, we get our credits. Get back to the lobby to see 3 kicks votes on me. Do people not like free credits?

Not enough energy for pugging today... did pug yesterday... most memorable thing that sticks out is some maxed manifest Trooper melting Bronze into liquid metal... that's when I decided to get my butt to Silver... thinking of moving to Gold tomorrow with my pitiful just started PC manifest... why not get carried for a change. It'll be just like the old days. Backpack vision.
