3 pugs on Cerberus/Condor/Gold.  They all had Rank III or even IV Equipment, and 20k Challenge points, but apparently not one single gel between them.  This became apparent on Wave 6 when they started bleeding out immediately, as I was picking up the pizzas.  I ended up soloing that Wave, and asked them do you even gel, bros?

 

I guess the answer was no, because at the start of Wave 7 it was a race to see who could bleed out first.  I won that race, but just barely.  Mission scrubbed, returning to base.

Yes it does. ^^ One hit is usually enough, depending on the Puggernaut's and your spec. No Hex Shield can stand up to two hits with an Acolyte though.

Trying out TGI this week. I can see he's awesome; just trying to get used to him. It's taking time to get used to grenade hunting again after weeks of kits without grenades.

 

Also, that RNG system must have heard me defending it (partially) last week, because it game me my 8000th or so Human Adept card in a Spectre Pack and gave me the same Vorcha Soldier card twice in a row (no offense intended to Mr. V. M. Baits).

 

Also I am scraping the bottom of the medigel barrel and am going to have to suck it up and spam Costco Mega Equipment Packs. Back when I was maxing the uncommons with Veteran packs I was buried in medigelz and missilez. Not anymore.

Rough

 

My QME dropped into a Gold lobby preset to Glacier/Reapers.  Host was a L1 geth engineer with a lot of challenge points, and we also had two Juggernauts.  So, a quarian and his pet toasters

 

The host was good but the poor guy kept getting Banshee'd.  One of the Juggs was okay, the other was the classic melee puggernaut, he dropped more times than I think I've ever seen a Jugg drop, and rezzing him wasn't generally practical due to the number of armoured things inevitably swarming the area.  Objectives were devices, pizza and devices; neither of the Juggs seemed bothered about keeping the baddies away from the poor sap doing the objectives, which was bad enough on wave 3; you can imagine how rough wave 10 was.

 

By wave 11, I'd burned through all my gels, ops packs and rockets, and had only a couple of TCPs left.

 

I'm really surprised we made it to extraction (partial, just the host and me).  This sort of thing is why I mostly pug Silver...

Why did it take so long for me to roll a Melee TGI with a Venom?  Crazy aggressive fun.  It's what the Turian Havoc should have been if Havoc Strike was a better power.

Havoc strike is a better power.  It flings a fat turian across the map where he (presumably) headbutts an enemy and sets them on fire.

I finished 4th in two straight Gold PUGs.  Granted, it was a pretty good group of players (don't remember if any of them were BSNers) that were all using OP kits (TGI, Paladin, and Fury), while I was using a Justicar and a new build I was trying for the first time (Vorcha Solder with Scorpion) in the two games, and I was kinda drunk.  But wow, that was interesting.  I think both games were like 18 minutes long.  Gold is boring with a really good group of players.

 

BTW, the point of the Vorcha Soldier with Scorpion build was to blow as many enemies into little chunks as possible.  It actually works pretty well for that purpose.  I'm not very good with the Scorpion though.

Pardon the noobness being such an issue, particularly on the FB Goddess one.  I was also trying not to use the shield boost too much but it seems unavoidable in many situations.  I seldom bring the volii kits and wanted to try the adas with them.  Seems to be a ton of fun with that rifle for me.

And not because it was difficult or my team sucked, but because I was laughing WAAAAAAAAY too hard.

I joined the match in progress on Wave 2, no biggie, but I could very clearly tell these players were not the most experienced. So I decided to have fun with my TGI. Wave 3 was EXACTLY what I wanted. Hack, in the 'oven'. I'm sure y'all can see where this is going.

 

Needless to say, by the end of the mission, I had the 15 revives medal, and we did succeed in a full extraction (whoop-dee-doo it's bronze I know) and within ten seconds of being back in the lobby I was kicked from the room for the first time in ages.

 

Best. Pug. Ever.

I have been using those rounds extensively and I'm proud to say I'm running out of those troll ammo.
