I'm ashamed, but even on Bronze, i'd still use Cyclonics IV.

Joined a Glacier/Geth game.

 

Which also contained Banshees, Ravagers, Praetorians, Scions, Dragoons and Phantoms.

Vancouver against Bullecturds. Either the host had a shotty line or he was halfway round the world. BC needed like 2 secs to charge. Ragequit!

Late night clutching with my gearless n7 shadow on Jade/collector/lolsilver

It was semi difficult to clutch for those 2 pugs. One was also an n7 shadow but with a habit of shadow striking abombs... she was still capable of killing

scions...sometimes, The other pug was a soldier who died on every wave. I atleast got to pull off a sick mid air head shot while i was clutching, but at the expense of 5 missiles 4 for assasination and 1 for clearing the LZ and 2 ops packs. i can't remember who tripped and fell when they were running to the LZ but they cost us the full extraction.

loading in, hear "get to the lz!" Well damn I'm not gonna lose my good stuff for like 15k so I immediately exit after doing literally nothing for 1 second, sure enough lose my gear. Load back up, look for a game again, loading in hear "nearly there!" Yeah it's the same damn extraction wave game, exit immediately, lose everything again. Anyone who ever said you can leave right away to save your gear was full of grade a crappola.

 

The way they set up the system to... I use this word very loosely... work, is that if you quit a game in progress, and you quitting is registered is having happened within the same wave that you were registered as having joined, then all of your consumables are returned to you.

 

The problem with their system is that:

 

- You can advance waves while still loading in. This counts as having completed the wave, and causes you to lose all consumables if you quit/are disconnected.

 

- The servers can decide they don't like you that day. Consumables are scrod.

 

- One of the maintenance employees' astrological sign's moon could be in Gemini and that just f*cks everything all up.

 

- The hamster can sprain an ankle while you are loading in, and this can cause you to lose all consumables.

 

- The Kingdom of Faerie can declare war at the exact moment that you load in. Naturally, all the hamsters are summoned to military duty, and consumables are scrod.

 

- An EA employee could blink, which as we all know causes chaotic evil to occur somewhere in the world. In some cases, this results in your consumables being scrod.

You check your total numbers of consumables right? Cause they don't stay equipped, but they go back to your reserves. You have reequip everything except gear.

 

And no, it's not 100% flawless, but I manage about 90-95% with little problems. Mostly it's due to this...

The tl:dr of my post is that it's basically a terribly buggy system, and you can lose your consumables because a butterfly flapped its wings.

Box of shame....

Landed into a lobby pre-set to Reapers/Rio/Platinum, didn't realize there are still imbeciles that camp the box of shame.

A decent looking Puggernaut and a decent looking Destroyer decided to camp the damn box the entire game, didn't even come out to help with obectives - pathetic.

Luckily there was a good Vorcha Sentinel, we held the middle all game so not much made it past to the morons in the box.

And of course come extraction wave, the 2 feeble minded SOB:s went over to the LZ straight away and used all their nukes.

I've never done it deliberately, but I got corralled in there yesterday in a Gold pug.  One player ragequit midway through the game, so we were a trio: a seriously good GI/Javelin, a rather green QMI/Javelin, and my HAdept/Hurricane.  HA with Hurricane is a horrible combination in Rio, I can't do a thing at range.  Anyway, the QMI and I took shelter in there from a Banshee; it was intended to be temporary, but we ended up getting completely rushed and a horrible revive chain ensued.  Probably I was drawing all the aggro because the other two were infiltrators, but the armoured units just kept coming and coming.

I loaded up a Novaguard and searched for a match, landed in Ghost reapers. Lag was noticeable but manageable, and we were doing fine until trouble hit hard in wave 8. Before I know it I'm the last of us standing, but only briefly due to a now-she's-there-and-grabbing-me banshee in the central pod.

 

To show no hard feelings on my part, I readied up a TSent for another non-vanguard game (unknown, reapers, gold) that landed us on Hydra. The lag was again noticeable but manageable, we worked together a bit better than we had on the previous match, and I revenge nuked a spawn on wave 8 for the last game. It was wave 9 that went sideways, this time. Lag was spiking and, as far as I could see, I was the last one standing again. I did a couple of circuits around the map and got them down to a lone brute, when it started walking on the air.

 

"Great," I thought, looking at my zero gels, as I listened helplessly to the sound of my shields dropping, saw the camera shaking as I stood in place, and then heard the sound of my turian being put down by the brute. And then there was a biotic explosion, the brute died, the wave ended, and I got up.

 

Judging by the kill feed and their score (they hadn't dropped out and searched for the game, as I first thought), I suspect one of the other players had been lagging as well and made it back to save the day. Full extraction with a scant handful of consumables left. Huzzah!

Warlord joined Rio/Reapers GiP, with a Claymore on full auto. Lame. Got picked up twice by banshees. Lamer. Somehow managed to score last. Lamest

Though that last might have had something to do with my phoenix vanguard smash-killing all the bosses and charging all the mooks he was targeting, once I realized what was going on and Rio is a looooooong map when you have to walk around looking for prey.

I think most of his points came from going scoremongering during objective waves   

Once he inevitably got hugged on extraction, I delightedly took the chance to give him my opinion on his play using the console chat.

He didn't stick around in the lobby long enough to get kicked, so at least he did something right.

Gold match with Collectors. Scions were firing grenades while not possessed. Ran into this player from another match that was dumped halfway. That one was also Collectors but I had no idea if he was the host. He was definitely the host when I dropped into the second match because there was only him.

 

There was no dumping and the match was played to the end. However, there was no end match results. I was stuck in loading screen forever and ever. When I restarted the game, no credits had been added from that match. Can't help but feel that the fellow had deliberately done something so that everyone ended up with nothing except him. Putting his nick down as someone to avoid.
