Gel, roll like crazy, spam the ops, stun who you can, run zig zag and hope for the better. If you make to the LZ, nuke the b@stards.

Or use a GT/Jugg Specced for full fitness and total damage reduc

Infinite Loading Screens, or a lagtastic ghost/plat/collectors that wasn't worth sticking around for. Guess tonight wasn't meant to be. Shame given the previous two nights have been surprisingly good offhost games.

Gave it one last try. Preset Condor Collectors with two russians and a GIP. "Couldn't get any worse" was my thinking to the preset.

 

Went down a lot. Topscored (lol) 130k with my volmercPPR. But we extracted full. On Condor. Against Collectors. On Platinum.

 

... on a russian host.

 

Calling it a night. One demented unicorn is good enough for me in a pile a crap.

On the most mixed positive/negative note I can think of I should add this.

 

Wave 6 and 10 were hacks in the lower area of doom. But at least one other person (maybe two) were using missiles and we got through both hacks relatively intact. So however crappy that was, kudos on the revives and missiles and gels being used. It was a nightmare but actually honest good teamwork.

Rio/Various/Plat

 

That was quite the lobby I dropped in earlier today. Map was and stayed preset to Rio. Host used textchat, which unless it´s a bsner is quite rare.

The following 4 games were fast and highly teamoriented. But, the curse of me playing GE on plat hit again. The last game ended with a wipe on w10.

Melee Jug + Melee Destroyer + Me little fat TSent. Felt like I did all the killing ( and when we wiped on w5, I was still 30k in front of the next guy, despite him missiling a lot of stuff. )

Amazing (seriously)

Had a pug duo with a geth juggernaut on condor vs the geth on gold. No microphones but the team work was very commendable. Took only 28 minutes even when there were only two of us (and to be honest my average game must be about 30 minutes with 4 pugs)

Sync kills. I'd forgot how bad those are when you're lagging and playing as a Vanguard.

You know you're in a good game if no Reegar is present, no Rockets are fired, you don't give a damn about the scoreboard and if someone dies, the whole team rushes to the other side of the map to revive them. I hope this was the standard.

Just my opinion though, but nothing seems rational about this cancer, even in Platinum. Especially when they're some very good weapons in the game, providing lots of options for every kit, build and playstyle. Pretty sure it's there for Biovar devs, so they could play/solo Bronze.

 

As far as Missiles go, eh, different strokes for different folks. I don't need them, I don't use them. Except maybe saving another player from death, or in situations you know you're dead meat. But that goes beyond Platinum. Also, about nuking spawns, this game is enough boring as it is, thank you.

I had some lagissues throughout the first 6 waves, but it just had to spike whilst trying to clutch w7. One moment there is only one Marauder directly up my face, the next I´m surrounded by 2 husks, 2 marauders, 2 ravagers and a fecking banshee. GG!

• havoc strike afflicted by charge bug
• stimpacks that have a 50/50 chance of working
• staggerproof geth (falcon?  disruptor ammo?  1200N havoc strike?  lolnope, try again)
• wallhacking primes

Attempted to carry some low-level players through U/Cerberus/Silver and got there eventually.  I was playing Valkyrie, packing the Disciple and Acolyte.  (Cerberus pre-set for practice at dealing with Phantoms, and boy do I ever need it).

First game, on Goddess: wave 10 devices went sideways when all the other players dropped and I ended up with two Phantoms on top of me.  Down, revive, try to dodge, down again, repeat until out of gel.

Second game, on Dagger Hazard: got Phantom-stabbed on wave 11.  The other players were all camping the LZ (upper one) and got swamped.  Fission Mailed with about fifteen seconds left on the clock.

Third game, on Reactor Hazard: only two low-level players this time, the new third player was a Destroyer who knew what they were doing.  We had to duo wave 10 devices, but at least made it to partial extraction.

 

Notwithstanding my derpery under pressure, they were actually pretty fun games.

Need to start looking at what kits everyone is playing. Just did a match with all new manifest players, but the cheese synergy of two Arc users, Inferno, and Snap Freeze made for a very boring match on Rio.

Played a game with three people on mic. It was present Cerberus/Glacier. Plat. Juggernaut, Shadow, and I think TGI. I was on my volmercPPR.

 

Was either top score or second score the entire game til the missiles came out wave 11. =/

 

Guy on the horn goes, "Must be easy pressing one button." or something to that effect.

Pressed a helluvalot more than one button that match. Decoys/Drones all over the place. Got four dragoons knocked back with a single heavy melee. (My all time best, also fun to watch.)

 

Shadow went down a tonne but I kept getting her up and boosting cause she was nice, although couldn't really hear too much since I had music going.

 

The juggernaut was getting pissy on the mic cause people were tagging his heavy melee's and he was trying to heavy melee tank his way through things he couldn't take, so he went down a few times he shouldn't have. (Standing in place letting two banshees scrape at you is a bad idea btw.)

 

Then they preset Hydra and kept Cerberus so I ran away screaming.

 

To the nice shadow lady, good game. Glacier's tough on a shadow.

 

To the whiny Jugg. ****** off. =/

I always use the gauntlet when I play juggernaut. It's insane because i can't use my default melee when can't i run, but i can punch off banshee heads

P.s.

 Fun Fact:

When you run and hold melee you can use your normal melee when you have the batarian gauntlet equipped regardless.
