I always use the gauntlet when I play juggernaut. It's insane because i can't use my default melee when can't i run, but i can punch off banshee heads
You can hate surf with the Juggernaut's siege pulse with the bat gauntlet, & on host with his base heavy melee, you can launch enemies in the air while they are climbing a ladder.
I don't if it's because of the lag spikes I've been having today. But today was the first time I got blasted by a Ravager even though I was behind it. At first I was turning around in a mad scramble to figure out where the other one was.

Fantastic Jade/Geth/Silver game. Competent pugs: a Destroyer, a VSol who wasn't constantly spamming Flamer and a very good HFE. Everyone did the objectives and killed lots of toasters. All three objectives were hacks; I was playing QFI to finish the Viper challenge, and the hacks were smooth even by Silver standards, the silly kitchen appliances were just lining up to be shot. Finished the game with 75 SR kills (plus the ones I got from sticky 'nades and Sabotage) and 20 headshots.
Then I got trolled by a Hunter in the closing seconds and cost us full extraction

I'm not exactly BSN material at the moment either (haven't you read my recent failures?). And you stick to silver pugging? I think you'll be fine in Gold with me. I play Gold with Silver/Broze pugs all the time. Makes great times.

Decided to pug platinum after more than two months and got lucky. Great team, game felt more like a some Silver PuGs I played. Didn't even used consumables. If you are from these parts, I just want to say: Thanks for the great game

There, now you know how it feels when you are blinded and surrounded. It's not that I mind you blowing the mine to finish mooks off, I get that you play this kit to actually kill, and kill fast, but for the love of Amonkira, either make sure you actually kill the bad guys on detonation, or wait for your teammates to clear the blast area!

This is what I get for bragging about how well my SI matches went yesterday.
Hosted Ghost/Geth/Gold and made the unwise choice of Mantis + Geth SMG (hey, it was at level 7). Result was severely impaired QCQ, especially against Hunters; energy drain would take geth scum down to 1 bar of health, then I'd try to use the GSMG to finish them... only for them to recover and blast me before the SMG spun up. Should have used the Scummytar, at least that hurts a little. I probably had more kills from light melee than the GSMG.

PUG Hazard Glacier/Geth/Silver. I did a little better by bringing the Hurlicane as my CQC weapon and actually got a decent number of kills with the um, Viper. I also got killed by the stupid swarm three times and it decided to cruise through the LZ at 0:05 on wave 11. Two of us extracted (I was not among them).

As you discovered, the problem is being staggered so you have to resume shooting from scratch. Once the thing spins up it's really effective. So it's most effective on stagger-resistant kits, like the Jugg and Destroyer. For laughs (because incongruous) you can put it on the Krolord.

SI doesn't need anything else beside the Mantis. It's tied with the DAI for the second most powerful Infiltrator. Here's a Plat build. Use Cyclonics if there's much rubber banding. On Gold Incendiary or Disruptor are also a good choice, depending on enemy.
GSMS is crap. Unless you are pursuing some themed or weapon points challenge, don't use it. If you have to - then GE or the Marksman kits are a good fit.

We all know that the GI is in third, second, & first place for strongest Inflitrator.
Drell is most powerful infiltrator because when things get scary, he can run away really fast.
