Glacier/Trollectors/Gold

 

I got my own personal 10ws in that match. Against Trollectors no less. Never managed that before with the GE. Usually some possesed Captain bursts me down. But nope, not this time. Anyway, aside from the other pugs pretty much not rezzing each other, me killing most of the thingies, clutching half of w10 with a Vorchasent and an abomb blowing up in our collective faces with 3 secs to go on exfil, pretty uneventful match. Lone Survivor, but sadly not me.

I see from a few recent posts that the Vorcha are indeed on the rise - I think around 8 of my last 10 lobbies have had excess saliva.

 

This is in no way a complaint. My last game was a fun, if occasionally slightly difficult game on White as a GE with ADAS against Geth, where one of the dribblers paired up with me and my Flamer Turret very nicely.

The TSol camped the LZ, let himself bleed out a couple of times and was the embodiment of a decoy. Only he wasn´t that much of a decoy truth be told. Atleast he helped with objectives when really needed. Read: he turned up for the escort on w10. The juggy apparently was afraid of enemies, seeing as how he fled on the first sight of trouble. The TGI was hugging the Juggy. You could almost hear the wedding bells. Valentine´s over sweethearts! So that left me with my Hunter pretty much alone with bullshitting Geth. Dragged the game unnecessarily.

Reaper/Glacier hazard/Gold. Some guy had a problem with me spawn nuking on wave 5. "The game knows when you're low on missiles and becomes more difficult", which I've never heard from anyone while playing this game. Keeps complaining throughout.

 

"This wouldn't be so hard if we didn't have someone using missiles on wave 5"

"I don't know why anyone uses missiles before wave 6"

 

I don't respond verbally, but I use up my remaining missiles on waves 8 and 9 just to annoy him. Got picked up by a Banshee on wave 10 and I heard him say "Maybe now he'll learn his lesson", except I got "saved" by the swarmer cloud and was able to revive myself. At the end I place first and outscore him by at least 50k. 

 

If you're out there, "some evil guy", keep practicing and maybe you'll reach my level. But you can't do it without the missiles you're trying to hold on to.

 

In case this sounds like an e-peen story, I only consider myself decent by BSN standards. I'm sure if the vets were still around I wouldn't have done as well. But at least I would've used it as a learning experience.

2:22. Bombers apparently developed an immunity towards the BW. Only every 3rd shot would connect. On-Host no less! Working as Intended^TM!

3 Biotics (Fury, Valkyrie and my Huntress) and 1 Disruptor GI (Haven´t seen that one in a while). The GI had the uncanny ability to mess with our BEs. Made for a rocky ride. It seemed that nobody íncluding me found his rhythm. Still, we made full exfil.

Stupid. As in geth. Not really a pug (I hosted) but close enough.

Sinful_Force carried my Krentinel through a couple of Gold matches. The second (Hazard Reactor/Geth/Gold) I ragenuked at least ten Bombers to try to get the last Geth Mastery achievement but it's still at 98%. That has to be one of the most annoying faction masteries to get, and the frickin bombers take FOR EVUR. At least if they don't dodge Krogan heavy melee they die in one hit.

Anyway, the last pug was a lot of fun between mowing down Hunters with the R E V V A Y and frying Primes in the reactor. I was hoping someone would nuke me too but I guess we were too cooperative.

Anyway, a nice game to wrap up these few months of gameplay before I'm ME3MP-less for three months.

Lame newbies.

 

Dropped into a lobby with low level n7's hosting....a a slayer, and a human engineer.....hydra/gold/cerb...it was me and another decent juggy player. Ok so the two newbies are going down like flies...i even went down in the first few minutes..just tryin to do too much...so wave 3 devices come around and these guys are dying like crazy and the nobody is gellin'...i managed to clear all 4 devices (the juggy was holdin' his own) and as soon as i clear the forth device the host gets waxed by a phantom and outt nowhere he leaves the game.... ....

 

That s**t just throws my entire game off..and i know i could have waited for the game to upload again, but the majority of the time when the host does stuff like that, i just leave and search for a new game...

I bravely foolishly decided the time had come to take my melee Vorcha Engineer, a favourite, into Gold. Having been spoiled by my frequent use of sooper-score-w**re kit Vorcha Sentinel, I guess I figured my melee Hunter build wouldn't do enough offense to keep me alive.

 

It actually went very well. Rio Reapers, which I wouldn't have described as an overly melee-friendly scenario (but certainly created lots of opportunities for myself running in circles around the pillars.)

 

We extracted, although I think I had 1 rocket left and that was it. When feeling brave, will be using him in Gold from now on.

I'm sucker for sticking around during wave migrations. Free consumables. And if no one else sticks around, you can still leave and not lose your consumables. But I especially like when host migration happens in the lobby.

 

 

That match I was hosting with level IV consumables earlier today, SpectrePierogi, was because of host migration. Otherwise they would of been level 3 (even though I just promoted). Was going to ask if it works for you too even though you joined after the migration.

UUG gave Giant Geth and while the first 2 waves were OK, starting from wave 3, it was not possible to harm geth with guns, only powers worked. The host was fine but all three other players could not do anything and started nuking stuff randomly. Also, geth were unable to climb the stairs. They just stood for a couple of seconds at the bottom and reappeared / teleported on top. Gradually, players realized what is happening and all quit including me by middle of wave 5 leaving the host on his own.

 

I honestly thought I've seen everything but this actually happens for the first time. Guns should always work, at least a little bit, even with bad lag. But here, nothing, zero, no damage at all.

Someone had the guts to camp stairs against Banshees while melting them with his machine gun. Luckily he changed to Asari Adept later and played as intended.

Destroyer with Hawk Missile Launcher, and incendiary Venom vs Collectors = fun.  I must have killed the other players upwards of 20 times.

Gold match against reapers on Glacier (w/ swarm). Rolled with my asari adept, mostly spammed reave while another player who had a former Cerberus male adept kept spamming singularity with the occasional smash. Add in a KroSent and a human female adept w/ a Reegar, and things went pretty well, if a little hectic. Lots of 'splosions. Then, when the final wave started, I fell through the map (briefly).
