Had a good morning with dem lil puglets. One match tho really burned my chowdah. Stuck with this team for two golds, great team, we got Collectors/reactor hazard. I re-learned the joys of edi-bot also. So like I was saying good teamwork throughout, high scoring players, we get to the extraction wave and the host loses his/her connection. He/she is locked up, can't kill enemies and the timer continues to twiddle down. Host won't drop to re-start the wave, I hung around for a few minutes but got annoyed and left. All that work, all that gear I used for nothing...

If someone can't obliterate the entire map with a kit that has Marksman, it's probably related to a PEBCAK error. I would imagine the typical Puggernaut player is one of the types that experiences such issues frequently.

Thanks for holding the enemy still for that headshot, tho.

Boogeyman's nightmare:

 

Obsessive-compulsive flamer geth trooper host (whoooosh-flamer), smash adept (aaaaaa), juggernaut with reegar who liked to place the shield everywhere he can so I can hit only the shield and me playing as quarksman with adas (indescribable adas sound). Add to that reapers with restless banshees, FB Ghost, and ping 200 milliseconds with marksman working half of the time. Fortunately, the game itself was fast, 16 or 17 minutes as everything melted on the fly. But still, very stressful.

Decided to KroLord, because too drunk, then decided to stick around in a London Cerberus stupidity preset. Got lag stabbed on wave 8, bailed, wrote this stupid epeen deflate post. Going back to Return of the Jedi instead. Will return when the pugs stop doing stupidity presets.

SYNERGY!

 

It's often hard to get a PUG to synergize well, and synergy is even more unlikely when dropping into a GIP.  But I dropped into a Gold GIP with my Geth Engineer (Phaeston/Incendiary Ammo), and found myself with a Flamer Trooper, a Vorcha Something (probably Soldier, he never used anything but Flamer), and a Human Engineer.  All the fire explosions were most glorious, and it went as smoothly as any Gold PUG I have played in a while.

They all seem to be the original 5 N7 weapons. Did you somehow get credit for all the Challenges you did on your old account with your new one?

Well looking at my new account, I think I was marked down for the ones I've completed on my original account, didn't know it could cross over like that. Actually, I'll have to re-check this.

 

edit: yup I was marked down for completed events. Can't really explain this, unless it's because I'm using the same email address here as I do on my new ps3 account. My email address on my old ps3 account isn't the same as my bsn one. *shrugs*

Dropped into a gold match with who I presume is a vet.  The match was Glacier, Geth.  I brought my geth engineer while that other player used the Asari Justicar.  Wave 8 was tough as the other player got executed and I was left to fend off an endless swarm of pyros, bombers, rocket troopers and hunters.  It was tough, tough match but soon we both ran out of gel on Wave 9.  All the way through, it was a duo run which I thought was weird because usually PC lobbies get filled up quickly.  Fun mission failed one.

Had too many PUGs yesterday that made me quit the lobby after the match finished.

 

1. Not equipping consumables. This is fine sometimes except for the fact that a large number of them weren't even equipping the permanent gear bonus.

 

2. Lone wolfing and dying on the other side of the map.

 

3. Not helping with objectives. There was a match where half the team was busy score whoring on the other side of the map on a wave 3 HACK.

 

4. Not using missiles for the entirety of the match and then using them on spawns on wave 11.

 

5. Bleeding out early on objective waves.

 

6. One guy scoring less than 20k after having been there for the entire match.

 

7. Leaving me to clutch a wave-10-devices against Cerberus. Needless to say we wiped, but atleast I used the last of my missiles and ops pack and gels to finish the objective.

 

A few days ago, the PUGs were decent. Don't know what happened recently. It's not even a Sunday. Did the game go on sale or something?

Man no lie my session last night I srsly thought my ps3 would explode.  Easily one of the worst days I've had on it in years. It crashed not once, not twice not thrice but 4 times!   And I didn't even make it into your lobby screen at the end, I crashed again.   No wonder my mic was going loco, crashed immediately after our game finished.

 

Ha no probs, I need those revive medals so I'm gonna be the best damn medic I can be. Fun catching you guys, even though it was only a few waves and you could barely make me out.   I had to turn off my playstation for the night, those crashes were murder on it. I'll have to learn to reset it more often to avoid this.
