Had a guy following me, shooting me and meleeing me after wave 6-7 I think. I asked why through text chat and got no answer. Asked again in the lobby and same. He? also kickvoted me. I wasn't topscoring, nor doing anything remarkable. There is an account on BSN with the same handle, but no posts . I guess some people have too much time on their hands.

Went in as a jug for a gold reaper match. While in the lobby, one player went in as a human soldier armed with . . . a javelin and a shotgun. He did not equip a geth scanner. I think he became fed up (he's at the bottom) while I was mowing everything down because for the last half of the match, he decided I made a better target and started punching and shooting at me.

Two matches in a row with superfluous (and non-kill streak) missiles. Both inappropriate missiles during objective waves and wave 11. And, of course, a GI with a hurricane.

Torture/Annoyance

 

 

Harzard Dagger vs Geoffs with a Trollgan (Pierogi), a pyjak(pug), and an absentee sniper(Supremo). I've got HI Raptor and things were going smoothly for me until my team stopped participating to trap each other in the corner near the lower LZ. What's worse is that the pyjak warlord wouldn't heed my advice on how to not suck. Not the worst game but man was I on my Walter Kowalski mood. 

 

One lesson to be learned is that the Raptor kicks ass.

I couldn't find a match for a while and ended up going into a 3-person game with a Paladin carrying a Lancer X and Hurricane X (both with ULM)  with a BOTB banner and a noobalicious looking TGI.  I was using my HI-Javelin combo.  I figured it would probably work out - the Paladin's loadout looked unusual, but he/she had a BOTB banner, so I figured it would be fine.  The other one was a TGI, so you would think he/she would be able to contribute something.  We got Reapers/White/Gold.  Fine, should be easy.  The TGI ragequit before Wave 1 was even over, turning it into a duo.  And the Paladin apparently had no medi-gel.  Had to clutch Waves 1 and 2 before I realized that if I didn't revive this idiot, I was going to have to solo that wave.  We got to Wave 5 only, when a Banshee that had apparently re-spawned just around the corner grabbed me as I was reviving the Paladin yet again.  I thought I was on the stairs, but I guess not.  Of course, the Paladin then bled out.  I've met some pretty bad players that somehow have Level X UR's and a BOTB banner, but this one took the cake.

Had 3 consecutive games on gold, two of the other players stayed for them all, one for the first two and we got another for the last one.

Now what's remarkable is that for all of the matches, everyone actually played well !

Everyone was doing good teamwork, providing assistance, cover fire and support for the missions, everyone was actively involved

in said missions and also in reviving fallen teammates making it a priority when appropriate.

I died a few times during the matches and the longest I had to wait for a revive was around 5 seconds...

 

As a result :

 

1. Rio/Reapers  --> Full extraction

2. Hydra/Collectors --> Full extraction

3. London/Reapers --> Full extraction

 

Overall difficulty of the games : 2/10

Level of satisfaction : 10/10

Level of enjoyment : 10/10

Faith in PUG : RESTORED

 

So what now ? I'm seriously considering quitting ME3 to end on such an unexpected high note...(not really though)

I'm so close to my Reaper mastery banner, so close, therefore I went pugging reaper golds tonight. I smell bsn'rs or at least lurkers, the amount of kill streak nuking in my games this session have been glorious.

After losing my internet connection on tuesday night, and subsequently having to do a full wipe and reinstall of windeys, I've just been trying to get mouse sensitivity back to where I like it.

 

Created a Vancouver/Reaper/Silver match for myself.

 

Tried playing, whoa, too damn sensitive.

 

Quit.

 

Changed setting, and back in.

 

Nope, not quite.

 

Quit and another change.

 

Back in.

That's better.

 

Go to quit and a PUG appears.

Eh?

That moment when pugs start rocketing spawns while simultaneously defending the LZ, and by trying to pad their score end up trapping themselves in a turkey shoot. We tried to save them. In the end, I ended up having to rocket the LZ to clear it, but I was too late.

I just spent five minutes stuck in a de-synched extraction wave. It finally ended when I was dumped to the menu and received a message that I had been kicked.  I did not receive the credits.

As if the lag hadn´t been enuff, the game was pretty much carried by a GE and my HSent. The HSol was hiding all over the map, avoiding the enemy like Herpes, the Justicar was semicompetent or incompetent, depending on viewpoint, afterall, I can count the amounts of bubbles thrown per wave using 1 finger and to top it off, Revenant. Ugh²³²³³³³²². Got myself synced by a Fantum and an Atlas (!), the latter of which appeared out of nowhere. Thanks lag, I really needed that. Cancelled the third sync attempt like a baws though. Made my ePeen inflate somewhat. Come w11, the GE and I bunker up in the command center or whatever the heck you wanna call it and the other two, badabumtss, camped the LZ. \o/. Scrubstatus confirmed. The GE and myself had it very easy thanks to the decoys in the LZ getting swarmed. Thanks to me liberally missiling everything in sight with 30secs to go, we made full exfil.

 

TL;DR: I scorewhored like a baws.

Was bored of Gold so decided to do some Plat.  First game went well, nice and easy.  Second game...the host gets sync-killed on wave 2.  Instantly ragequits.  One guy either fails to reconnect, or also ragequites.  New host...gets sync-killed...and ragequits.

Urgh.
