I'm an older BSNer, so are some other folks. That guy's ignorance does not speak for us. Or at least me.

Tried my first go at platinum tonight after a few days of knocking the rust off on gold. The first game I played as an Asari Adept on the Tuchanka map.. I only died a few times, but I felt pretty useless some guy ended with 240k points while the rest of us sat around 150-130k range. Arc Pistol IV felt pretty weak on Platinum, but I could warp and stasis stuff for the other guys. We got a full extraction in about 19 minutes and change.

 

The next map I tried the Asari Huntress on the demo map? Benning? I think I dunno lol. I died a lot, but I did score better with a 155k. The guy at the top of the leader board was still in the 230k+ score range. I noticed people in Platinum actually do the objectives as four in gold people just do them if they are in the vicinity or have nothing better to do it seems lol. Anyways we got another full extraction around 19 and change.

 

I think I'll stick to Gold until I get my Claymore and Arc Pistol up to at least rank 7 at least. I need some better gear equipment too.

^^^ Still, what came to mind is "What if".

• What if a Faerie, did leave BSN/MP before some buffs and nerfs were known and people are making statement's like : "an M-27 scimitar is more OP than than a Wraith or Claymoar". Wouldn't you also be disgusted that people make such "obvious" mistakes (even if they might be right meanwhile)
• What if a Faerie is not intentionally trolling, but just came back with the same attitude when they left and most was ok with that before.
• What if a Faerie makes a statement that have since 8 months been proven as hearsay but doesn't know about it.
• What if a Faerie has to proof himself in the mp arena again to show that he still can put words into practice

• But, also, what if - the BSN MP forum culture did change, itself, a bit, since :
• what if - people mb more tense or more chilled,
• what if - strange noobs are making statements as if they played >500 hours,
• what if - you can actually read stuff in "a stamp of aprroval library" to improve urself,
• what if - members prefer self control and limits themselves instead of pushing the boundary every day with the moderators : ie there are unspoken no-no's like avoiding spam pics, avoiding constant untertones, or making at least one on-topic statement.

It must be a strange strange world, indeed - in comparison to something like the chaotic Me:a forum where everybodies opinion counts the same weight and there is no objective way to proof it. Some Oni once said : "I wash my hands of this weirdness" - 4 years ago...

I dropped wave 9 into a game where I couldn't see any enemies besides... Geth Hunter, who are supposed to be... invisible (typical "Biovar please" case). Since it was so close to the wave 10 credits, I decided to stay nevertheless.    But we got targets, so I was definitely useless. One of the guy was using a PPR so I tried to shoot where he was aiming at but I don't think I killed a single enemy outside Hunters. So basically I got 40kish credits for playing 5 min and doing nothing. 

 

Well, let's say it was a little payback for all the PUGs I carried to glory credits these last 4 years.

Giant, but I'm sure I've already had this bug on White and Reactor too, and possibly on other maps. I'm not sure it's map-related.

I've seen invisible enemies(*) on most of the maps at some time or another. Also selective invisibility, like being able to see some enemy types but not others. Invisible Ravagers and Brutes always makes for a fun game

Yes, the most I've had is invisible Primes and Phantoms. That last one -all Geth invisible besides Hunters- was a first for me.

 

There are sounds glitches too, like Banshees totally silent.

I went to play a match or 2 after battling the bulls  in a viscous game 7 of the finals  (nba2k)   I won and I got to visit the white house.

It's no surprise I was unaware of his/her status, But that still doesn't justify being a douche to me for simply trying to help and provide information. perhaps i offended them by suggesting that the game has changed over his/her 4/3 year hibernation. 

 

Lies!  AA Carnifex is still top tier, snipers suck, powers > guns, the Falcon is the best weapon in the game, FBWGG is the path to riches and Krogans are all, without exception, terrible.

Nat in the hat. Deckard was a Replicant. Deckard was a Drunk. Man with no Name. These are the only ones that come to mind right now. His music thread is still going strong. Guess you could say we 5h1p0st3d a lot at one point (well, in my defence, partly because I was a 24-7 none stop poster at one point. Staring several topics a day like a madman on a mission. And there's only so much mp you can talk about). But had some good laughs. Only too bad the best threads got locked or removed so fast. Literally no fun allowed. Partly why he's not returning anymore.
