Huh, sounds kinky.
Oo yeah, you should join us for a three/foursome when you have time. ![]()

Let's just say, Bowlcuts had no idea how good QMR is at ME3 when he challenged them. They were both Novaguards with Predators. I was hosting so none of them had host advantage. Bowlcuts bled out early, QMR was being QMR, destroying everything despite playing the novaguard for the first time. Pearl ninja joined us on wave 1 with her warlord, so I started playing as well from wave 2 on. We got to wave 6 where the game gave us devices, everyone was out of gel except me, but I had to do 3 devices with 1:30 remaining so I bled out as well. QMR's score was 67892, Bowlcuts 27400.
QMR and I played a bronze Thunderdome with Bowl afterwards, where he trapped a pug in a corner, making him rage on his mic and quit
. QMR and I gave him some tips on the MP as he is relatively new, then we played many more matches together. Happy end.
I hope there's a recording of this.

you're being too kind. I literally died 4 times on w1 before I realized that Biotic Charge is the most useless power in the game.
How the hell do people play off host vanguards? Do they just have unlimited money for smashing and buying new controllers/ keyboards?
Oo yeah, you should join us for a three/foursome when you have time.
can I join?
ON-TOPIC: (Do you guys remember what this is?)
Atlas-phobia.
Played two games with jmac and a pair of PUGs, first game, jmac was widow assassin, and I was bpp GE (see other thread), pugs were paladin and puggernaut. Around wave 6/7 I remembered I had Armoured Compartments, nuking followed, much nuking. Rather uneventful game, 10ws Gold Reapers/White.
Second game, I ran Claymoar QMI for LOLs. jmac switched to batsol with crusader. paladin switched to huntress. Cerberus/Jade, huntress proceeds to nuke Atlases on sight. Atlas with dragoons, Atlas with Engineers, Lone Atlas, didn't matter, she nuked them all. If you ever read this, Brissy, thanks for the LOLs.
Seriously, how did Claymoar make it past balance testing? Is broken as hell. Cloak->NadeStagger->DeadAnything.
can I join?
Hell yeah, it's a deal. I never turn down some curvy Quarian action.
10 WS on gold was a 1st for me Pugging. I'm just curious if the PUG was getting you back from previous AC game or if he/she really hates Atlases that bad. Either way, it was damn funny. Reminded me of when I used to nuke Primes on sight at all times. Now it's just every once in awhile. Sorry, QMR.
I still outscored them by about 10k, so it can't have been scorehunting.

It was playtested by the same people who thought the pre-nerf Krysae, Reegar Carbine and pre-nerf Falcon were balanced.
Arkhne, I like you and all, but that's not cool.
I didn't know you liked me. Maybe I need to post more pyjak-class builds. Ruffle some more feathers.

It really isn't. In fact I'd argue its among the most well balanced weapons in the game. It performs awesome on weapons kits (or those with powers that already have fast cooldowns) and has great DPS both burst and sustained, but is heavy AF. Cloak's likely the bigger problem there, as with most heavy weapon loadouts.
The truly broken weapons are the ones that output comparable or even more damage, but weigh nothing, like Arc Pistol, Talon, Hurrdurricane, Wraith etc. You know something's wrong with balance when they are even the most effective Min/Max choices on weapons platforms where something the Claymoar, Javelin, Typhoon etc should reign supreme (Talon GI, Hurricane Tsol, etc.)

I'd like to disagree with you, but I would be lying if I did. All of that is true. TBH though, the problem isn't the lightweight guns, the problem is the heavy ones sucking. Typhoon, and Spitfire should have the HIGHEST sustained DPS in game, ESPECIALLY with their movement penalties. Hell, a Revenant should also be good DPS. Javelin is also a little weak for its weight and firing action. Why should I carry a Typhoon/Spitfire when I can carry a Sniper and SMG that combined weigh the same, and have a higher DPS, and burst DPS with Sniper?
I love Snipers and ARs. However, Biower has stupid ideas regarding both. Sometimes I think that the people who worked on the ME Universe have never played games.

The Wraith is op? I play as vanguard and Biotic Charge being a 10s power doesn't allow me heavier choices. But I agree with arc pistol,... and pretty much everything else

It does most of the same things as the Claymoar, but at much less weight and a slightly higher rate of fire. It does have slightly lower sustained DPS, but that hardly matters when it has enough single shot damage to still OHK most things the Claymoar can (albiet Claymoar can generally do it at greater ranges), and the difference vs bosses will be made up on most kits by faster power cooldowns anyway (such as on a vanguard, where you can charge/whatever else twice as often)
They basically just took the Eviscerator (which is pretty balanced on gold and below, if ever so slightly underpowered) and loaded a fuckton of damage on it without changing the near nonexistent weight (taking away 1 shot doesn't even really change the firerate even). Horrible idea IMO. A weapon's effectiveness should be tied to its weight if the PRS system is going to work, with lower damage output of lighter weapons compensated for by increased power damage output/ more uptime. Wraith is one of the guns where it most definitely isn't.
Also, it sounds like utter garbage. No, literal garbage, like a tincan being thrown in a dumpster. It also doesn't seem to headgib nearly as much as a shotgun should (i.e. with every shot). That's just my opinion, tho.
But... I like it's sound...

My Claymoar would like a word with you.

I dropped in early in the game to join a Krentinel, Slayer, and BF3. All of who were probably wondering "Who puts the Revenant on a Shadow!?" A guy using a randomizer, that's who! There was a lot of dying all around, painful objectives, and I ended up soloing a third of of wave 9. That said, the Krogan and Slayer both seemed fairly good, the trouble was mostly due to bad objectives and unfortunate spawns. I was quite surprised to end up with 97k points on the most awkward Shadow I've ever played. Oh, and if the BF3 guy is reading this, sorry for reviving you into a phantom sync on 11. I just saw it coming and tried to stop on the last fraction of the revive, but I was too slow.
Ironic.

All was going well (if not a little laggy but not overly bad), until wave 10 when we got devices.
By this time the host (Borat - not his real name) was well over 150K. I was on just over 50K. The other two were about half my score.
He was nuking spawns and such early on.
Obviously by this time the game had decide to ramp up the difficulty immensley and we were having trouble getting the last device done.
It was on the console facing towards the LZ in the mid Lower Basement.
Can't remember Borat's exact words but he was advising us rather forcefully to kite the enemy away from the device, to just stay away and keep moving.
As well as providing unhelpful commemtary on our prowess as players.
Easier said than done on such a small map with so many enemies.
Not to mention that it's heaps annoying to have someone yelling so loudly into their mic that it drowns out the game.
Unfortunately Borat had made a habit of leaving half dead enemies all over the map or just avoiding them altogether unless he could nuke a group of them.
Wishing he would just STFU and get on with it I got synched by a Banshee with magnetic hands.
I was dragged towards her from about a foot outside her reach.
Didn't notice that she'd been hunting me.
Anyway with Borat still rabbiting on I switched to the pug who had managed to get to it and had about 5 seconds left on the device.
And not an enemy to be seen. We're going to make it!
I see Borat run up, stop, then keep going.
There are times when you just have to stop running and stand your ground. This was one of them.
Immediately two Banshees start teleporting down the stairs from the LZ. This is going to be close. Fingers crossed.
Borat's going to come back and check isn't he?!
This is nail bitingly close.
But no. Poor pug, despite his steely resolve, gets picked up and impaled with literally half a second to go.
Left all on his lonesome Borat didn't have the firepower to take on the Reaper horde and just counted the clock down.
And here in lies the irony. Him following his own advise lead to our downfall.
Mission Fail!
Pity. I still had a full salvo of rockets for wave 11. ![]()

Can`t tell if ironic or not, so imma safe it.
USE YOUR F#¤KING ROCKETS ON OBJECTIVE WAVES IF THEY ARE NEEDED. IF YOU SAVE YOUR NUKES FOR W11 YOUR WILL GET CANCER, AND DIE ALONE AND IN PAIN!

What on? The smoking caters the host left all over the place.
Now maybe if the host hadn't wasted all of his rockets he could of used one on both of the imcoming Banshees?
You're not him by any chance are you? You do sound very much like him.
Oh well still had to laugh at him and now at you.

He's right though, there's no point saving your rockets for the end of the round. They're to be used when necessary. And always nuke swarmers first.
