Yep aka the worst wave in the game apart from Collectors Plat wave 10, for me, anyway. ******* Primes. But I don't play enough Plat to know what is and isn't proper etiquette anymore.

 

Well I don't know either, it's true that 3 primes is just waaaaay over the top, even 2 can be a nightmare on platinum.

If I'm about to engage in an extremely difficult match (which was established by wave 1) I try to keep my rockets for missions, final waves and anytime

I'm feel it's necessary or very useful.

If he did that to get rid of a tough wave then you're right, it is good form.

If anybody in my lobby wants to nuke a Prime Trio. I will salute then, I might not do it myself (Unless it is a killstreak, or someone is in danger), but I have no problem with people doing. Hell, spawn nuke all you like outside of objectives, it speeds the game up. Just don't nuke wave 11 for no reason, or scorewhore nuke objective waves.

It's pretty much all I did the whole match.  Definitely one of those "points aren't everything" matches. I caused a LOT of damage, but got very few points.  Glacier/Geth/Gold, with a pair of Paladins and a Drell adept.  The whole match pretty much consisted of them using Snap Freeze and Reave, while I just spammed throw to detonate stuff.  It's amazing how fast Primes go down with multiple detonations per second!

I was in a lobby as a Fury with two AIUs and something I can't remember once. It was CONSTANT explosions, I would detonate both their snap freezes (they seemed to sync up nicely), then if it wasn't already primed, AF+Throw.

Scions.

 

Everything was going okay, but then I got flanked by a Scion while trying to take out a Praetorian. I died, got a revive, then was almost immediately taken out when an Abomination jumped on me and let the Scion do its thing. Used a gel this time. I tried to escape the cluster f, but when I turned and started to run... another Scion blocking the way. Tried to run past it. Died on the stairs. Decided this must be some kind of message and let myself bleed out.

Rio/Geth/Gold with my Goldust Talon Merc. Uneventful, though managed to squeeze a long-range Cobra missile between two Pyros to hit two Primes.

I get myself synced when I'm bored or playing a kit i don't like (quarians) due to pug roulette.

Surprising

First game in 3 days, go Pugging with my trusty BatSent. End up in an actually lobby, not GIP. Host is less than 300 CP Fury with no gear on and of course U/U. I am forced to put on my curry Claymore Sexbot, expecting this to be an utter s***show. This match was not sponge worthy of a shotgun amp so I put targeting amp on instead. Low level Puggernaut joins, we start. Hazard Reactor Collectors, which I thought would be either a solo attempt or hard freeze. Thankfully, it was relatively smooth for PS3 Collectors. Another low level Puggernaut joined wave 2. Wave 8 got rough, as I got 5 revive medal in about 15 seconds, but it was a surprising match.

Disaster and Near disaster.

 

First one I join wave 5 on Geth/Glacier/Gold as a Juggernaut with a siege pulse build. Only I forgot how terrible it is off-host. That game was dire.

Second after everyone left I decide to go with GT and the GPS. Only I forgot how much I suck with the GPS. Still much better than the first game. 2 people joined that did well, someguy called Lord Fortak joined and left straight away.

Rage quitting pug host.

It's a bit to common for pug hosts to rage quit when they are far to behind on score, going into pug land is risky business.

Not my last but my most frustrating one today. Hazard Ghost/Reapers/Gold. I joined in the 3rd? wave, very laggy game, one invisible teammate and the other two were a Salarian Inf and an Edibot, I was a VorchaSol so naturally I got all the aggro dump as soon as I landed in. Rekt, got thoroughly fookin rekt in that game, got so mad I started rage rocketing marauders on sight, the edibot was following me everywhere and cloaking themselves...

 

 

I burned through all my gear by wave 10, Edibot got DC'd in the 9th wave, I failed to extract, got double pounded by a pair of brutes in a corner, it was awful, I cried but the others survived. I left that lobby ASAP #frustratedsobbing

 

On the plus side I unlocked another banner and I can use an alt one again, yaaaaay!

 

 

I also bumped into Clips7 today, I'm sorry man, I die alot versus the Geth on gold, I would have quit too.

It's because every other PSN sale has ME3 for <$10. Any kid can convince their parents to pay that, any poor bastard can find that for the number of hours it can provide.

Huskmode

Host didn't say it was huskmode (grr), but I was a drell adept on Glacier, so it was all good.  Actually some pretty decent settings, it was fun, and a little more challenging than normal Gold, without being annoying.  Host also modded the grenade boxes for more grenades, so I think I hit 75 kills and 3 killstreaks somewhere on wave 2. 

There was some nice teamwork too, so it all turned out well.
