WTF!!

 

I joined a Plat lobby with only the Host in it, and although she had preset it to Geth/Giant I thought why not?  Nobody joined so she wanted to start so we kick off and start wave one, she (a Fury) and me (a Turian Saboteur).

 

Anyway, end of wave one, last target is a Geth Prime, so I run over to help finish it off and although it only had a bar or two of armour left when I got there, I got credited for the kill. No biggy, right?

 

Well, suddenly the Host migrates (I thought she got DC'ed) and even before the load in I get a text message saying "HE WAS MINE!". I thought she was joking so I sent back a "lol" (it was all I had time for as the wave was starting), but as I'm now soloing wave two I get three more texts.  I ended up getting disconnected anyway (although I kept my gear, silver lining, right?) so I check out the other messages. 

 

Message two - "selfish sh*t"

Message three - "don't join my lobby again"

Message four - "or I'll kick you every time"

 

I was like w.t.f!! She deliberately rage quit because I got the kill and she didn't?! Wow. I was literally like W.T.F!!

 

I sent her a reply about it being a co-op game etcetera, but all I got back was "selfish sh*t. noob".

 

So I sent another, spicier reply that will probably give the PSN censor a work out and then added the scorewhore to my block list.

I'm starting to think this game hates me.  I jump from a match with four seconds of lag, to major rubber-banding, to a short-lived duo with some guy on condor who never came down from the very top area, regardless of objectives, to a match where everything from Praetorians to Abominations could one-shot me, to a match were cloak or not, at any given moment a minimum of 6 enemies were focused exclusively on me - even while a pair of Krogans were suicidaly backhanding a banshee.

 

Screw this.  I'm done for the night.  Or maybe week...

 

Stick with it!    You should try hosting sometimes too - it helps.   You don't want to quit (read: Not allowed) before you have maxed your manifest.

Took my Indra HFI into gold to warmup. Should have just gone into plat right away. Ah well, Atleast I scorewhored like a baws ( read I started nuking the bejesus out of dem Rippaz starting w3 ) and I was out of missiles by w8. It would have been better if the others would have done the same, y´know, to speed things up, especially Mrs. "I-Have-ACV-I-Need-No-Other-Quipment"-Juggy. But to be fair to her, atleast she didn´t spawnnuke the living bejesus out of w11, but that might had something to do with my 30k lead ( oh, the ePeen   ) and the futility of it.

Rane, that story is a classic. Some people I will never understand. I do find that a simple GFY response tends to shut those types up fairly quickly. I've sent that simple reply twice on ME3 and never got any return hate message.

I really regret not having the ability to receieve hatemail on PC.

 

I though I did have one guy shout "f**K you" down the mic at me, when he ran over to the LZ on London during extraction and got stomped.  Oh, sorry, was I meant to fight the entire Cerberus army to try and revive you?  Maybe if you hadn't left me to do the entire Wave 10 escort on my own, I'd have enough ops packs, missiles and medigel to do such a thing.

A non-BSN buddy and I opened the lobby up and a PUG dropped in that had friend requested me a few weeks ago and I finally deleted when I got on yesterday. And of course they drop in the lobby. So anyway, Jade/Cerberus wave 1 as my daughter is coming in to tell me goodnight, I drop right next to this person. They don't attempt to revive. Fortunately, my daughter is still standing there, so I don't get to make an ass of myself with expletive tirade. And of course I spend the next 2 waves trolling and teabaggin when this person drops.I get over it, but I didn't revive them any

So am I wrong to not accept friend requests? My list is filled with people who I have played 1 game with and never again, so I basically have quit accepting friend requests. Is that wrong? I need to know proper etiquette on this because I am all about decorum and s***.

^^^^^^^^^^^^  No, you are not wrong with not accepting the friend request.  Alot of times when I am pugging...people will send me friend requests after 1 match... with out me ever even talking to them once. Most of the times, I just delete them.....sometimes..like in your situation Al, you will bump into one of those people down the road...and if you play multiple games with that person and are cool with them ..then a friend request sounds reasonable... other wise you will wind up having a friends list full of people you never got to know or even play with again.

I just played as an N7 Shadow against Cerberus on Hazard Ghost, Gold. It was very violent. I recorded the game, and then added up some of my stats...

I killed 12 dragoons and 23 phantoms, with my sword. I didn't count the other poor soldiers who were unfortunate to be on the Cerberus payroll today.

Also, because I was hosting, and my internet was slow tonight, other teammates had a hard time (but interestingly none of them quit). At one point in Wave 8, I made 9 revives in 43 seconds. So that's another record for me tonight. 

 

Oh, and in another game, because of slow internet, I hosted and just went in solo. maybe get some people drop in. It was Rio Geth Gold. I was Turian Ghost (I was like "alright! Time for some payback from last night!"). My gun was a Lvl10 AT-12 Raider Shotgun with Disruptor IV ammo (pretty stupid really). So I get half way through wave 9, and I'm thinking: "I might just be able to Solo Gold this, I am in a good position with plenty of consumables. Then a Level 1 pug joined the game. Oh well. We both extracted. Happy to get some pay back on those nasty Geth.

Yup both accounts I got have people who sent me FR's where I only played one game with em, un-mic'd. I usually do a clean-out of my list every 6 months, nothing personal but if I don't play with certain folk on it again I will unfriend.

That's pretty funny. Never was one to care about getting all da kills or score, I just want my money and to mindlessly shoot stuff.

 No I don't think they're on here. But here's some irony for ya', I actually gave them a 'shout out' a couple of times in the "BSN'ers you've played with recently" thread, but no one replied and I've never seen their tag on here.

 

And I'm the same mind set regarding score and who comes first, and although I do like a nice quick game, having fun is more important to me.

Last summer sometime, the day after I got my BotB banner, I was proudly flying it and I joined a lagfest. Anyway some guy outscored me by less than 10k, and we were both over 120k with the 2 other lobby members at around 60k. Get back in the lobby and I get some message that I stole the banner and I was best of the noobs or some s*** like that and I needed to get out of his lobby. A simple GFY was my response and I never heard back. And no it was not EP

Oh, I'm not quitting, just frustrated, and may or may not take a break from it for a couple days.  And I do try hosting every now and then.  It usually results in a revolving door of players throughout the match, often leaving me to solo a few waves per game in-between people leaving and the new ones coming.  Which I assume means that my hosting is terrible.

Had 2 relaxing games with I_Never_Extract and SenorTomate. All Widowzzz. We climbed the small box and pretended to be the defenders of the castle, or there was hot lava everywhere else. It lasted for about a minute.

KroganLove was a N7 Fury, everybody had different kits and we were about to start. A few seconds before the game starts, I notice that Tewnn's AIU turned into a N7 Fury, hmmm interesting, let me join the fun ! Overwhelmed by the sheer awesomeness of our biotic squad, Ninjakiller could not resist the temptation and joined the gang. Never had a full Fury squad before, was pretty epic...
