Very, very narrowly missed 10 waves survived. On a Gold Glacier Hazard trio. One of the guys got caught between the swarm and Ravager goo when only one Banshee was left alive.

And bumped into JGDD in a Reactor/Collector game.

VOLUSMERC!
OK, so I made a for-real try to use the Volus Merc effectively last night, and I used the Saber that everyone keeps talking about being good on him. It was OK. I missed a frustrating amount of shots due to reticle bloom and constantly felt like I wasn't doing that much damage, but I ended up being #2 on the scoreboard. So I guess it wasn't all bad. I think I need to pick a different weapon though. The Arc Pistol seems too mainstream. Maybe it's time to bust out the good old retro Carnifex? Or maybe CSMG would be better.

Try Lancer or Typhoon on him. Or Striker with some stability mods/gears.

Big juggs!
Juggtastic games this afternoon with Wildfrenzy and 2 pugs on silver, doing weapon challenges for fun - and lo and behold, these silverpugs were eager to do missions in several games. GGs, was fun to dust off this guy after a while.
Techgasmic
This could also have been named A Pair of Juggs, as we moved onto Gold, when got also husband Arkhne and a capable Pug for several games. Much tech! So synergy!
One of those games turned into Even More Juggs, as we went on a full Gigglenaut fest on Giant. Siege pulses filled the air, as reapers were incinerated, frozen, exploded and disrupted by 4 Lancer units. How many shields does a juggernaut need for doing a device? At least 3, accompanied by the same amount of turrets for maximum safety and secured comfort. ![]()
My cheeks were hurting after those games from all that gigglefest.

I used the PPR for quite a while. You can cloak the ramp up but then you need to be in good position to get your damage. Try to drone or decoy first, position yourself well, cloak, fire. Then shieldboost at the end if you need to or repeat if you don't. You can greatly compress the decoy/position yourself/cloak timing depending on how well you deploy yourself at any given time.
I've switched now though. I've tried the CSMG which worked quite well, the reegar just cause (it actually worked quite poorly with my playstyle), and right now am loving an adas/hurricane build that focuses on the adas more than the hurricane.

Well it's Andromeda, a cesspool of trolls, weird romance fetishists, self proclaimed geniuses and the occasional good poster. Who are these people you mentioned btw?
Your second part pretty much explains the first. There are people I just got tired of seeing comments from, I figured it was only polite to let them know that if they ever responded to me I wouldn't be able to see it, but when I had a less sarcastic ignore list in my signature it earned me a warning and a suspension

My quip was mostly aimed at the pc environment... where it is actually pretty rare to find pre-selected factions.
You are clearly finding different lobbies than me! I often jump in and out of at least five lobbies to find a game that's not preset. Usually to Cerberus. Assuming I can actually find a lobby. Something like 75% of my games begin on waves 2 or 3.

Platinum Duo
Found myself in a match in progress. (Wave 1) Hazard Dagger/Trollectors/Platinum.
The host was a HMS with lancer (Dugtrio17). I was an AA with Indra. The cooperation was awesome. A 3rd pug joined, wasted his gels, ragerocketed and ragequit.
Faith in pugs restored.
Also.. I got my sweet revenge versus them collectors..

Reapers/Dagger/Gold. My Talon Destroyer, a Paladin ACA, a Hurricane? HA, and a CSR Salarian Infiltrator. I picked up the first pizza on wave 6, and someone got on the mic to say "No, not you! You're too slow!" And then a few seconds later "Oh, nevermind." I was using an Adrenaline Module III, and shut off DM to carry it - whoever it was, I was faster than them. ![]()
All in all, it was a great match. Waves 3 and 10 were both hacks in that spot at the end of the dead-end lower walkway, and Brutes and Banshees were melting like butter before they could get to us.
Boredom-quit.
I dropped out mid wave 6, when I had a grand total of 3K points. A Piranha Batsoldier was decimating entire spawns in the time it took me to reload my gun. I'm not sure if it was modded, or if he just had absolutely no place even thinking about playing on gold...
This third one, I didn't actually play. It was a preset Giant/Reapers/Gold (nearly every match today was reapers), so I jumped out of the lobby fast. The host readied up as soon as I (the second player) dropped in. I did take a quick look at his loadout before I left. A level 13 Vorcha Sentinel with a Harrier and Javelin, Phasic Rounds, AR amp, Power amp, and warfighter. I'm curious what his powers looked like. Did he skip Flamer? Carrying both the Harrier and Javelin would do horrors to its cooldown, but on the other hand, he did have a power amp. Just for the grenades? If that was the case, it's probably good I left. I hate running the Demolisher with a grenade spammer.

I've played with TheMonomyth (along with Arkhne) and they were great games. I also once found myself in a lobby with him and Stephen Dedalus at the same time, which absolutely blew my mind. I'm pretty sure Malaclypse the Younger (Mal-II) was there as well, which was hilariously overwhelming. My only contribution to this level of cultural overload was the 23 in my other name, but hopefully James Joyce and Robert Anton Wilson were partying hard somewhere in response. I reckon PSN attracts a higher proportion of whacked-out nutjobs than all the other platforms. But maybe it's just me.

Roger that . Played a few times with Vyyyper - didn't realize that he have such long track record. Certainly his playstyle reflects his playstyle : robust, consistent and not pretentious. Certainly a player anyone would like to play with.

Yes, but you need to not mind the Paladin : 9 times on 10 I bump into him he's playing this character. He also always nuke 2/3 spawns. So I guess that some may find him annoying but he also help for objectives, revive and use gels when needed so he's all good in my book.

I saw him play the trooper once, but all the other times it was the Paladin. I've bumped into him so many times lately that I can even tell you what gear he's using : usually Acolyte and Tempest, with SMG amp 1, incendiary rounds 1, cyclo 1 and Expert Package !

He uses the same stuff on his trooper, too. Except I think he uses Cryo and Phasic ammo sometimes to switch it up a little.
What times are you on? You can join us, can always use more reliable people for Platinum.

Is principiante_O BSNer? One of the best players I played with recently. Bumped up to my u/u/p lobby, we had two games together + PUGs.
I knew my 6 points in Proxy Mine (Geth Infiltrator) would pay off because I detonated the sheet out of his snap freeze, I barely managed to keep up. That was Reactor/Collectors.
Second one was Reapers/Dagger Diarrhea. Switched to my best build for HumEngineer so far (no drone build + Lancer) for that one. I almost feel sorry for poor Asari Huntress trying to stay away from our tech heaven.

StupidCheatingGeth
Goddess/Geth/Gold. My poor Cabal. I don't know how many times I'd go around a corner to find 2 siege pulses, three rockets, and two drone missiles headed straight for my face. Wave 10 pizza. Pick it up in the small room on the bottom. Should be simple, a short walk to drop it off. Someone nukes a spawn, putting the new one on that little dead-end of the outside walkway. About 15 feet away from me. I nuke it. They respawn about 10 feet to the other side of me...
When wave 11 starts, they actually spawned right on top of me (so much for spawn control!) I was down less than a second after the wave started. I've never been so grateful to have Poison Strike - I managed to get out before the invulnerability from the medi-gel wore off.
Probably would have helped if I had outfitted myself like I normally do with the Cabal. I usually use the Shield Booster gear, but for some odd reason I used the Expert Package instead. It's amazing how noticeable the difference in shields is on a kit that I play so much. I know EXACTLY how long I can stand in-front of a Pyro before my barrier goes down, when I can tank a banshee warp or if I should avoid it instead, etc. It completely screws you up.

Played 3 platinum pugs, GiP-dropped into all of them around waves 2-3. Two games were hacked. In one, host used modded javelin (high firing rate, somewhat like valiant; why would you want to mod already OP gun? ) and another had instant revive on after regular death or sync kill, no matter. Both games were around 23-25 minutes. The third game was normal, not modded in no way I could tell and it was under 20 minutes with a pretty good team (destroyer, obligatory TGI, and GE plus me as GI) despite being preset to Giant/Reapers.
