Man, I love the Paladin heavy pistol. Might be my favorite weapon.

Played 3 platinum pugs, GiP-dropped into all of them around waves 2-3. Two games were hacked. In one, host used modded javelin (high firing rate, somewhat like valiant; why would you want to mod already OP gun? ) and another had instant revive on after regular death or sync kill, no matter. Both games were around 23-25 minutes. The third game was normal, not modded in no way I could tell and it was under 20 minutes with a pretty good team (destroyer, obligatory TGI, and GE plus me as GI) despite being preset to Giant/Reapers.

I also once met an instant-revive guy. Even then, he got himself killed after being shot down during the sync-kill animation and immediately stomped on by a Marauder.

Instant revive is actually a bug I think, I've had it happen where you just instantly revive for no reason. Even as the host. Happens more often on reactor for some reason for me.

did a quickmatch for the first time in a week, ended up in a preset reapers/white/gold lobby, probably would have left just cuz I don't like presets, but 

 

 

stayed cuz hot fat turian spotted 

 

felt spent after that so only had time for one game but a+/10 would enjoy a random turian again

I spent over half an hour clutching every wave in a Rio/Collectors match.  When wave 10 arrived and once again I was on my own trying to deliver the pizza, I was relieved to have no gels left and to just bleed out.

 

I think I'm done,  ... or I need another long break.

In theory should've been awesome, but in practice it was laggy.  And while I was a glorious FatSentinel, the other guy was a TGI with a Black Widow.  Still, we did well.  Took the Collectors down pretty hard.

Oh, I was thinking of you when we had a Pug match a few days ago:

 

We went off as 3 Turian Soldiers on Jade. Our Turian friend had to leave midgame, but just before he left, we had a Pug relieve him of duty, by turning up as Turian Ghost! So our full Turianness was saved!

No, it's a different thing. The guy gets downed by anything, lies down for a while, then just gets up without any medi-gel sounds.

Yes, it was exactly like that. Although, the map was reactor and it was preset. It might be that the hack works only on reactor. And I'm not sure it is intentional. People mod the game and then don't repair and start glitching. The question is whether to exploit the glitch or not. Also, other two players in the lobby seemed to be aware of that as they were both playing extremely recklessly and resurrecting multiple times each wave from the beginning. Same as L0ony's lobby with his two friends with instant shield regeneration.

Mordokai had that also for a while. Miss him a bit in the lobbies. Can you describe the symptoms so the rest of us can prepare on similiar fate?

You think he might be resurrecting with console? No, I don't think so. He was doing his own thing, moving around with his GI and shooting his javelin. Also, timing was always perfect, same interval between going down and resurrecting, about 4-5 seconds.

Yes. I dropped into a GiP, he was the only one present at first, as far as I remember.

Using the command to revive revives everyone. There's a separate command to revive specific players but it requires undocumented parameters. I'd the host is using it the game will look like he used gel (maybe not the right noise though), and off host he will desync for a few seconds then just stand up.
