To be fair, they did have equpiment on, so naturally I assumed they would put some effort in. I could not have been anymore wrong. I had no idea a Krogan Warlord with a Cyclonic IV and a Juggy Shield could die so fast against Geth. See, I think I'm getting punished for something horrible I must have done at some point.. This is the only way that makes sense to me.

These guys obviously forgot they had some medigels. The mission failed at wave 10, some seconds after I've been impaled by a sneaky phantom.

It's funny as sometimes everything gets messy when the carrier guy get killed.

A girl(well, i assume they were a girl. Either that or a 12 year old boy) was flirting with me the whole game. Saying i had a sexy voice....i wasn't sure if i should be complimented or creeped out. Then after the game they sent me a friend request and i was like "hahaha hell no!"

Aaaaaaaaand dumped from the EA servers in Wave 9. This is quickly becoming a day for the record books. Tonnes of equipment used, and virtually nothing to show for it. If it wasn't for Pugging, I'd have to change my name.

Yes, it's 812 GET A FREAKING XBOX SO I CAN PLAY WITH YOU!!! I'm tired of playing with people that don't compliment my voice....after one game of it i can never go back to the old days were no one compliments my awesomeness

Hah, sounds like my last Pug.  Medigel and rockets.  Until round 11, when they mysteriously remembered them, though it didn't help any.

Reapers/Giant/Gold.  Every wave, without fail, the Krogan Warlord would go down or get sync-killed (turns out said Krogan was a level 1...urgh).  One of the two Asari team mates seemed decent, but Asari are squishy, and both would get killed frequently.  I think I ended up soloing...five out of the 10 rounds, and there was only a single round where no-one was dead by the end of it.

Fortunately, I was using megabeast's Salarian Infiltrator build (Lancer/Geth Scanner), which is fairly awesome when you need to carry.  I got the Lone Survivor, so the game at least ended as it should have done.

I think I'm overdue some bad Pugs, anyway.  Apart from my Collectors/Glacier game and this one, my games have been uniformly decent lately.

Unfair.

It's been a laggy off-host night, full of heroic holding the line all alone, Kroguard surrounded by banshees on staircases all night long, and several stellar magic moments, including these:

1. Another player is cornered by a banshee, high chance of being grabbed so I biotic charge knowing I'll stagger her from behind (ooh er) and they'll get away. But biotic charge doesn't do anything despite hitting the button 3 times, oh the joy. Meanwhile the other player luckily dodges her grab and runs away. Disaster averted I turn and shoot/melee other mooks ... then 4 seconds later that biotic charge fires, launching me sideways across the map in to a beautifully choreographed sync kill with the banshee who has by this time was facing my direction. Sabotage!

2. A few games later, having another stellar mission on a different host, just completed the escort on wave 10 (Geth/Plat/Goddess). My squadmates are right behind me, we'll just have to mop up a few Primes around the corner and an approaching banshee. I've been carrying each mission despite random off-host lag, gold revive every mission and highest score etc. It'll be an easy finish for a Kroguard with a Cyclonic IV even with all this lag ... so I reegar the banshee to a standstill and biotic charge intending to melee-charge her to death ... the biotic charge starts, the Kroguard charges through the air, then halfway there it becomes slow motion, he starts doubling over whilst still flying sideways and shouts "I'm bleeding out!" before his corpse hits the banshee and crumples to the floor. Somehow the game applied a Phantom sync kill to me somewhere in the middle of a teleporting biotic charge. Sadly none of the other 3 could carry, in less than a minute they were also dead. More sabotage.

Vanguarding off-host, I ain't never seen it quite this bad, arrrrrh.

After yesterday, decided to go into a game with my HMless Geth Trooper, with the Acolyte and Hurricane, a combination I save for when I've had a rough few games, and want something easy. Got Reapers on FBW, so, should be a walk in the park, right? Especially with a Slayer to set off all the fire explosions, and Destroyer and Kretinel support.

30 minutes, 15 revive medals, and several solo'd rounds later...urgh. I think in my last five games, I've not scored below 150k, with the next best person scoring, at most, half of that. And I'm an awful player, so that's really not a good sign. Pugs, y u torture me?
