I always get excited that you've maybe had a fresh encounter with a certain person on Silver... I live in hope.
I keep saying that a well played novaguard (onhost of course) with a priming team is an insane blast on Gold/Platinum. It is fun, and hugely effective.
Yes! I was afraid to play vanguards on Gold for the longest time because people kept saying how useless they are on anything above Silver. But that's not true at all. Even without a biotic primer, the novaguard can keep up on the scoreboard.
I also find shockwave very very useful. Most people seem to not invest points into it at all. But shockwave is very handy for detonating stuff from a safe distance.
Sadly, the old stigma is still going strong and it takes a while until somebody pops into my lobby who doesn't immediately leave again when seeing a vanguard on Gold. *sigh*

Dagger Gold Geth. I was out on the map instead of the upper deck, on the landing where there's a supply crate. Wave 6 came up, pizza delivery. Pizza was smacked right down in the hot zone, geth everywhere! One guy was with me, the other two in the upper deck. One was somewhat close to the pizza. I was thinking we had to clear because there was really a lot of geth and I definitely wasn't going to run across and get shot down.
But then, came the announcement that meant someone had picked up the pizza. But when I looked, no one had shifted positions. the pizza was still there at the other end from where I stood, behind some crates. The pizza was dropped but it had not moved. I was confused. As I continued to observe, the sound of pick ups and dropping happened a few times. Until finally, when it was dropped, it magically appeared near where I was standing. But no one moved. 
That told me that the host had "picked it up and dropped" it near where I was. Modding? No thanks. I left the game.
obviously, I was too sexy...other wise..I would not have just been unanimously kicked out after my volus adept w a csmg outscored the host by 75k in a collector / dagger match.

Ever seen that guy with the 3 letter name(cant remember it) with 20 N7 and a allot of challenge points and high level UR's playing on PC? Hes always playing soldier classes. Good player though.

Played a few lolecksbawks360 games with Nat and Al E Gatorr, and a random pug. Game was Rio/Reapers/Gold, and by extraction, he had about 30k points and a 10 Assists Medal... and that's it.
How do you play an entire match and ONLY have 10 Assists and nothing else?

Very competent
Just completed a great Reaper/Jade pug, with three strong, team-oriented players. Minimal use of rockets, timely revives (except for my pathologic rage-gelling 
), excellent cooperation in eg. focus-firing banshees, with someone always keeping an eye out for flanks. Great job on objective waves too!
... so of course Origin crashes at the result screen 
An excellent match, smooth and fun! I would have stayed for more if I could have!

As far as I know, that only describes my last game, and not some kind of terrible internet gif. Had a TSent, a Cabal and myself as a Spitfire/TSol.
Extended mags on the spitfire are pretty amazing, btw. You can literally chain Marksman back to back and never have to stop to reload. Which, given we were on Hydra and against big stupid Reapers, is exactly what I did.
Everything was dropping instantly, Geth Turret fired 10 shield pulses per second. Most boring two waves I ever played...
Hugs?
Not sure why the one player was getting banshee hugged, but I know why the krogan was...
He kept using melee attacks on teleporting banshees... I'm guessing he really wanted hugs.
I tried to be nice and use voice to tell him if he really wanted to hit them, to do it while they were throwing warps, but he either didn't understand or didn't care.

2 buddies and i kept plat open. Vorcha soldier joins wave 2. I wasn't sure a Vorcha could bleed this much. He bled out waves 6,7,8,9. I kept up with my revives and even with all that bleeding, I had 13, 11 on him. I was cordial about it though, can't say the same for one of my buddies.
I find it hard to imagine you being anything less than cordial, man, apart from those rare times when you lose your temper and amuse us with a rant, obviously. 
Seriously though, I've been imagining you saying the bit I put in italics, and after thinking about what you said about Tennessee, I just want to say a man can't have a record collection like mine and not hold your State in strong affection. Sun Studios is well and truly on my bucket list, and John Hiatt's 'Memphis in the Meantime' is one of my favourite songs when I'm feeling just a little bit Country. I feel just a little bit Country quite regularly, as it happens. Never Nashville Country though, more Johnny Cash and the Tennessee Two, and alt-Country like Steve Earle and Todd Snider, neither of whom are actually from Tennessee but I imagine a State that has nurtured Billy Ray and Miley would welcome them. 
Also, PurpGuy has unretired! FR sent next time I can actually play.

Decided to stay and see what plan that guy had.
Apparently, his plan was to score around 20k and to be instakill by Phantom in LZ as soon as extraction wave started.
I would love to bump into that guy again to see if he will have some new plans...
I played a few pug games after work and joined a match with my QE/Arc Pistol. U/U/G got Jade/Cerb (oh boy). It went pretty smoothly all the way in extract when everyone was going missile happy. I was sitting at the top of map where they spawn inside where the consoles are to control the spawning. I thought about leaving that area and letting them all get ganked from behind, but I didn't. Sometimes I wonder if people realize that when you do that you are covering their arse instead of score-whoring.

Not really a pug, but a pug was involved......last night me and sinful invited the newly minted xboxer ---crashsuit ..to join us.......had a couple of really fun games.......It was my birthday and I was getting black-out drunk... ( I know this cuz I did ) I remember me and sinful were juggy's w spitfires....his drill rounds on the gun...beat my incid ammo build,,by a g-damn huge margin..points wize...and in that match...it was cerberus / white..??? I am 96% sure it was.........this really annoying volus kept following me attached at my hip..constantly shield boosting me...which was annoying...and I knew he could hear us talking about it..from the way he acted...and a funny part..when I was about to die..as he was right next to me ..I asked him to shield boost me,,,but then I died...I started saying on the mic " You had one job to do...ONE!!!!!!!" ...it was good times......fun games all around.

w10. We got the hack in the lz. Got myself cornered and hugged by a banshee. Derp. But hey, there are still 3 others rite? The AIU goes down and then promptly decides to bleed out. Derp. The other two got into a die and gel chain. Derp. Through sheer luck our Destroyer managed to get out of the circle and circled around the map once. But instead of waiting for the enemies to really gang up on him, he instead pretty much reengages instantly. He found himself cornered faster then he could say "derp".
