Inexplicable.
I spent about 20 min trying to find a decent lobby, gave up and took the last one which had one decent looking guy (high N7, equipment) and two not (low n7, geth Pulse rifle I, no equipment etc). I was CollAdept. We got collectors on FBW.
They died EVERY wave. I died on wave 5 and bled out to see what they would do, but they managed to finish the wave. I had to solo all of wave 8, took me about 10 minutes :-/ I then died 3 times on wave 9. Had to use a lot of ops packs to get through wave 10 and 11.
BUT they all used gel, used rockets, rushed to do objectives, and did not run to the landing zone during extraction. Only me and the high n7 extracted but it was all v bizarre, as if they half know what to do. They were constantly staying near abominations that they were shooting and then dying though. Also my rockets were completely haywire and not going anywhere near targets so i wasted about 3 of them

One put on Gear and an Ammo power, one put on Gear alone, and one put on Gear, Power Amp III and Shotgun Amp III - with a GPSMG 1. I didn't have high hopes for a Gold extraction.
Collectively, the team went down maybe a dozen times. People tended to stay close to at least one other player. Everyone cooperated on objectives, and players who were in danger of getting stomped actually used gel. My faith in PUGs^ (somewhat). Since apparently everyone on my FL have jobs that require normal hours (or just aren't up at 7 AM) I decided to risk my sanity by PUGing one more time. Found a string of two or three seperate lobbies with players who actually did something other than get executed every wave! It was refreshing to see people actually help with objectives, revive when someone got taken down, and not bum-rush the LZ once Wave 11 came along. Extracted every single match.

Hydra/Reaper/Gold, last objective, an escort, 2 had already bled out, and I was working with a infiltrator. The location was in the furthest corner behind the control room. 2 banshee and 2 brutes, the infiltrator gets downed, the probe is like 5 feet away, I resurrect her while and she runs away. I'm out of rockets, and I dance with the banshees and brutes until the probe is home. Finish the wave. The infiltrator that left me to dance then spawn nukes on extraction. I didn't mind cause I got to do something I have never done before. Being that close to death and avoiding it with the Geth sidestep...just awesome cause I will never be able to do it again.

. still, overall fun.
Next match was even smoother (altho one guy was spamming electric slash which was v irritating). Full extraction.
Best thing was that after that first v messy match, we were nicely similar in skill, so i felt like everyone was doing equal work. One of the best PUG matches ive ever had. Added them all to friend list.

Frustrating.
EXPLANATION: I dropped into the match, bypassing the lobby. The group wasn't bad. I was using my Quarian Female Infiltrator, but there was another one too. The other player was a Volus Adept, but he dropped out around Wave 6. It was frustrating because I kept lagging like terrible. I'd dodge behind a wall but end up dying or I'd throw a sticky grenade at an enemy that apparently wasn't there. I stopped lagging when the volus left and the other QFI and I made it to a successful extraction.

Had an N7 Demolisher with a Javelin and Harrier backdoor it in Firebase Hydra to hide up on the walls of the dam like a goddamn coward. Brought my Quarian Male Infiltrator to show him how to handle that rifle. Beginning to think he got that BotB banner by missile glitching like the pyjak he is.

Hilarious.
Had to work a looooot of overtime yesterday, so came home exhausted and really only had time for one quick match. So, hopped on PC for a quick Silver PUG before heading to bed.
Fell into a room with two folks sporting BOTB banners (one male, one female version... pretty cool). And poor, humble little Turian Sentinel with Crusader I and Shotgun Gear I managed to outscore them both... and one of the BOTB's was also rocking a Turian Sentinel and a Wraith IX (so jelly... I don't even have a Wraith IX on my PS3 account, which is where my real manifest is, LOL).
Felt good about that, even if they were probably just messing around.

Trying to kill things with only heavy melee, using sub-tier weapons when not, spamming the bullet-eater Hex Shield when I'm trying to, thinking they are gold viable because ****ing #YOLO. One even had a Batarian Gauntlet. ONLY I CAN DO THAT FOOL.
