Rules.

 

There are sacred tenets you MUST follow when you select a Krogan to play as.

 

#1  If there are two or more Krogan in a game, headbutt festival participation between waves is MANDATORY.  Headbutting Volus players is an acceptable alternative.

 

#2 Krogans.  Always.  Extract.  There are no excuses.

 

One PUG decided to not follow these rules and was promptly booted from the lobby post match.  It was an all Krogan ROFLstomp against gold collectors on Goddess.

 

In other news RNJesus granted me 3 URs today.  Indra IX, Spitfire IV and a Valiant III.  The Spitfire is still not impressing me though.

Hmm...well, just thinking about it, assuming the sticky grenade itself doesn't overwrite it with an ammo power, sabotage primes for tech bursts anyway, so I would assume the sticky grenade could detonate that.

I think we ultimately decided Krogan never extract.  Extracting means leaving the fight just as its getting good.  Real Krogan just hang around the firebase headbutting things until another N7 team shows up.

But rule 1 is definitely mandatory.

They should produce tech bursts from disruptor ammo. I'm not sure if Sabotage can prime for explosions, but I do know it briefly increases the damage done by tech combos.

Kiting is just a fancy word for running away. The only real way to extract is to fight your way to victory and hope that victory is conveniently located in the direction of the LZ.

Oh and make sure no Salarians survive if present.  Salarians NEVER extract in a Krogan's presence.

 

Oh and I'll just add my last two PUGs in one word too.

That describes the interwebz of the last two hosts.  They both discoed their way out of both matches resulting in the lovely "Connection lost" bollocks that occurs when BOwares netcode screws the pooch.

 

Both wave 10 dumps too.  Don't think I'll play ME MP anymore today.  I'll play something that works instead.

I have.....seen things you people wouldn´t believe. Thin air on fire off the shoulder of Tuchanka. I have watched Prime Beams teleport in and glitter in the dark on Giant Hazard. All those moments will be lost in time.....

 

Having recently moved to East Asia for a while I have finally gotten around to setting up my stuff and play some ME3MP. Apparently, there exist levels of lag orders of magnitude beyond what the laws of physics were thought to allow . It is actually quite funny in a bad-disaster-movie-sort-of-way, but  I guess I´ll be resorting to using hard cover and throwing excessive amounts of grenades around more often .

As a supplemental note, armoured compartments are very useful for bothering Spanish shipping.  Yeah,  I started being very selective.

Suprisingly good!

Ran some PUG platinums and it felt like casual gold with friends. Everyone holding down there own sections and killing things. I salute you MrMilk35, elpatriarca007 and this guy

I finally got the Geth Jugg again, so I did what I normally do and specd him full tank mode. And I stood in a sea of enemies and just laughed at them.

 

I mean sure, Jugg isn't as fun to play as, well, every other character in the game really, but goddamn did it feel cathartic to just stare a Banshee and her sister down, considering the last game required me to clutch a wave as Krogan Adept.

 

The only time I actually got overwhelmed was when a mosh pit of Brutes showed up and decided to bury me in a crater. It was pretty funny watching them all go Hulk mode and just pound the ground repeatedly.

 

But playing Plat/Gold with Jugg tank feels like cheesing. I mean, it lets your squishier teammates operate in relative safety, but still, feels like cheesing.

Duo.

 

I decided to unleash the Puggernaut for a round or five and it ended up being myself and a guy rocking the base human soldier.  Reapers/Condor/Gold, could be worse but I hadn't tooled up for a duo situation.  Got really hairy a few times with my buddy getting synced by Banshee nonsense in one wave.  As sturdy as Puggs is 2 Banshees and three brutes with a ravager is a little much.

 

It was a triple hack game with all but the last one going smoothly.  Suffice to say I hate Condor even more now. The Turians can just nuke it from orbit.  Only way to be sure.
