last night after solo'ing gold reapers wave 9 after the 1st 2 spawns and wave 10 disables 2/4 against reapers with a destroyer with cryo rounds on and adas 5.

i said " real men chase coolaid and ramen noodles with whiskey" on the mic.

 

not sure if that applies to what pugs say but everyone left after that. 

 

edit add: to add 1 left before i cleaned up wave 10, the other left after and 1 stayed because they must chase coolaid and/or ramen noodles with whiskey too.

I just finished a gold match against Cerberus, and one of my teammates performed horribly as a Volus Vanguard. Two teammates and I scored above 70,000 points, while our "helpful" Volus did not even break 5,000 points. He could not even bother to at least provide passive support for the team.

 

We did manage to pull through to the end however, but the match was long and strenuous.

Took the Harrierbot Grenade Stealing Cabal to GiP that turned out to be a White Reapers preset.  The lag was so bad, I teleported to Giant.

Drell Infiltrator on a Ghost Hazard. Nice PUGs; despite all of us getting revive medals, we pulled through and got a full extraction.

The "to hell with subtlety" weapon choice (Krysae+Raider) is... fun.

Spanktacular.

 

After I resolved the previous unpleasantness (turned the console off and on again, oldies are goodies), I broke out the Awakened bug for a bit. A bit of a classic match geth/white/gold, there was myself as the bug, another bug, the obligatory puggernaut and a Turinel. Aside from a couple of nasty turns everything was melting nicely. Though the Puggernaut didn't contribute much with his GPR but tanked well enough. The other bug knew how to get us spawn f***ed well enough but murdered nicely. I forgot the Turinel was there but he unwisely clutched wave 10 after the objective was done and everyone else was downed (I'm paid so no more gel). He was using a Collector Rifle V so it took a while and he would not stay down.

 

It was actually pretty good. A rare one these days. Elevated hand slaps all around.

Be grateful they had a javelin... so maybe they might actual kill 1 thing  ... usually in my lobby, they bring a level 3 viper  and a shuriken

I bailed on wave 3 when, after running the pizza one successful "jump" I dropped it and could not pick it up again.

Scurb, this is how you git gud! By rubber-banding and falling through the floor, builds character and situational awareness. Also, you get to know maps in ways you never knew possible.

But I've been through the floor of Vancouver already. IIRC I was chasing an abomination I had just shieldbonked over the edge and just sorta kept going. I'd rather blame something else, like lag. And you know what causes lag?

So, looking at my N7HQ for my second manifest I realized that I hadn't dipped into MP since May. Decided to put the Witcher 3 aside for one evening and jump back into Pugland. GG's earlier today, rust was real tho went down a few times but I had plenty gel to rage.

 

Looked at my challenges, seeing how close I was to unlocking a new banner I left Pugland and went playing with myself. Used the Awakened Collector, to finish off dark channel challenge, difficulty Wood, enemy Geth @ Giant

Harrier.

 

After finding Gold lobbies populated by such things as BF 3 Soldiers with Phaeston I and innumerable other idiots I returned to Silver with my melee spec Kroguard.  Two other Krogan present and a filthy Turian.  Both other Krogan violated two of the sacred tenets.

 

1. Headbutt festival non-participation.

 

2. Not a single melee medal.  (It was Geth FFS)

 

Now I know the extraction tenet is disputed but I consider it valid.  They managed that at least. 

 

We got hack, devices and targets so I ignored the first two and went to slap bombers around instead. 

 

This got me to 300k for the day and the RNG presented me with the Harrier X for my war spoils.

4-5 plat pugs; we didn`t screw any of them; glacier vs (some1 ) was even 17:55...wow!
