No idea what the PUGs were up to. We did all extract though. Novaguard is very trance inducing.

Played some games this afternoon, good good. Trying to finish off my London extracts, ended up in a Collector game. Forgot how missiles are pretty much ineffective against possessed Praetorians,

didn't get a center hack, something to be thankful for I suppose.
Na sdorowje!
Dropped into a rather smooth GiP Goddess/Trollectors/Gold, trying out the Batarian Slasher for the first time.
Managed to accidentally blow up two of my apparently russian teammates by lashing a possessed abomb - unfortunately got caught in the explosion as well
Lag kills.
Really, lag was so horrible that Adas and even siege pulses didn't always hit the intended target.

Lag on my lobbies for people in Europe and Australia ranges from "annoying but tolerable" to "what the **** is happening, why am I dying, why can't I kill anything, **** this I'm done". Sorry again. n_n;
OT: Addictress and I pugged it up on Reactor Hazard (or as I like to call it, Easy Bake Oven). Wiped the floor with those Reapers. I could be wrong, but on the w10 hack inside the reactor core, I don't think we used a single nuke. Thing of beauty. Especially after the uphill battle that was the previous match (where the two scrubs I was with ragequit after dying on the first wave, and I was wholly unprepared to solo, so I first enlisted the help of LoonySpectre--who kept dying because of horrific lag--and then Addictress, because consumables were running low all around and we got hacks on London for every goddamn objective. Against Collectors. Ugh).

I was in that game, using another acct, and you are correct, no nukes on the hack. GG. As for lag, it was amusing.

Oh man, you had to suffer through the lag too? Aaaaahhhhh. My connection claims yet another victim. ![]()

A BSN'r ain't a pug. I think that's an unwritten rule somewhere. ![]()

If it's a public lobby and they end up there by sheer coincidence, they qualify in that moment as a pug based on the widely-accepted definition of... puggery? Puggishness? Whatever you might call it. ![]()

But, but we're special snowflakes, such definitions don't apply to us.

Fine, fine. I'll fix it then.

Nobody is a PUG in my matches. You're a meatshield.
Apart from against Banshees. They seem to find me very attractive. Will not leave me alone.
Lag at it's most tolerable is the difference between kill or assist. At worst....well we all know that one. The lag spikes when somebody joins midgame can be murder.
To combat cheese-shaming, equipped the AIU with the Scimitar.
The gameplay is still so ridiculously simple that I managed to top the scoreboard until getting sync-likked by Banshees at the start of both Wave 8 and 9.

Special "snowflakes", not special "cornflakes".
This Homer scene is the best scene in all of the Simpsons ever! Makes me laugh every time.

The AFK TGI host with no equip and no life signs SHOULD have gotten votekicked by the 3 Salarian Infiltrators, one with Valiant, one with Black Widow, and one with CSR, who then proceeded onwards towards victory and glory, but no the BW SI quit the lobby instead.
0/10 does not deserve to call himself a Salarian
Hissy.
As in fit. Nothing exceptional about the match other than two people fighting over an ammo box, specifically grenades.
Maybe try not camping in the same spot chaps.......weirdos.

Dagger Hazard / Collectors / Gold / PS3
I played a couple of glitchy off-host Fury matches, involving being invisible, having invisible AF, having no powers or weapons at my disposal other than (invisible) AF. It's focusing to say the least, and accidentally becoming host didn't help with any of it. RNG from my lobby gave us the worst combo imaginable, but that said, I had a great teammate and the game might have been the most enjoyable I've had on that particular map. I'm still amazed we got out of there without freezing, especially with others coming and going mid-game.
Considering the discussion above about Pugs and BSNers, I have to say I'm surprised and almost alarmed by the general quality of the players I've run into in the past couple of days - most of my games have had 4 players hacking or escorting. If this ain't the End of Days, Shepard, it's pretty damn close ![]()

^^^^ indeed, I come across a lot of competent pugs
... the end is nigh
Frustrating...
Hopped on for a quick warmup silver PUG, FB Giant/Geth (thay can be so fn cheap sometimes) with 3 obvious noobs but, I must give credit that they helped with objectives. I was a Turian Havoc which I realize now I have no idea what I'm doing with. I ended up having to solo half the waves my self and used more consumables than I'm willing to admit. We did however fully extract and I was on top. I quit after one match.
Please somebody enlighten me with this character. Used this Nvaderone build no bonuses (I never use anything extra on silver or below) to begin though except grenade capactity (duh):

I'm not an expert with the Havoc by any means, but I do enjoy him very much. Evo 6b of Havoc Strike is very erratic off-host (although I still use it), and I prefer a 4/4 split between Stimpacks and Health, with glorious Turian Passives maxed all the way for weapon damage. I really don't think the PPR is the best weapon for him because it needs reasonably careful aiming and the ramp-up is far from ideal for someone dodging around the place so rapidly. I much prefer the Raider or Lancer on him.

Yeah, I've never really "gotten" the Havoc soldier either. I know that what you're supposed to do is strategically use Havoc Strike to detonate combos from your ammo powers and to give yourself I-frames to avoid damage (maybe to hide reloads too). But in practice, what ends up happening is the same kind of BS deaths you get with any Vanguard, without the "getting your barrier back when you charge" part. By Wave 6, I'm usually just spamming Cryo Blast and killing stuff with my weapon. I definitely haven't given him enough practice though.
The most fun way I have found to play him is to slap on the shotgun Omni-blade and do a melee build. Havoc Strike into a group of enemies and kill them with heavy melee. His melee is pretty freaking cool and can do a decent amount of damage with some AOE. Wouldn't want to try it on Platinum though.
I've had mixed feelings for a while with the Havoc, until I tried the Raider on him. It's glorious.
On topic : I've had very decent PUGs too recently !
(If I except the one when NinjaRevolution left again his own game as soon as I bumped in... this guy
).
