Yeah, I just realized too late my brother is watching a YouTube channel (can still overhear it in the next room). My bad. Anyway, that second pizza on wave 3 was murder. Eventually I just brute forced it in via spamming all my ops.

Gave my Adas Quarksman a Harrier for shiggles and dropped into a GiP Hazard Giant/Collectors/Gold.  DoA would be another good word for this game.  The 3 pugs would constantly be forming a revive pile in the middle of the open areas, leaving me to solo much of the game.  Wave 6 was almost over before it even started, as they piled up on top of the pizza right in the middle of the upper area, surrounded by Scions and Praetorians and Captains everywhere.  They were forced to watch me solo everything with my Quarksman Harrier and Tac Scan; from Wave 7 onwards the other Quarian in the group started using his Tac Scan once he saw how cool mine was.  I don't even know what kind of Quarian kit he was, since I never saw him do anything else really.

 

At least the toaster had enough sense not to camp the LZ.  He stuck around the upper office with me until around 30 seconds.

 

Of course, with all the revive piles, bleedouts, and total wipeouts (if I hadn't been there), come Wave 11 I counted at least 15 missiles.  It still wasn't enough to save the two pugs who camped the LZ all Wave.

 

Many kills were stolen throughout.  Topscored, left the lobby, I'm sure their jaws are still on the floor.

Just want to say that I HATE the Harrier and doubt I'll use it any more. 

 

I put it on a Turian in Platinum. What a stupid joke! Even with the larger magazine mod, it's still rubbish.

 

It runs out of ammo every two seconds! And you lose the joy of playing the game when having to run to ammo boxes all the time! On platinum, the ammo boxes give you 1/4 or so of a your ammo at a time. So you have to stand and wait about 6-8 seconds at the box to get full ammo again, or run all over the map, screwing up your position against the enemy. 

 

The Lancer is 100 times more enjoyable to use!!!

If by Turian you mean Turian Soldier, then yeah - any kind of increased firing rate screws the Harrier up big time...on Platinum at least.

It works fine on the Turian Ghost if you regularly tap into one or two ammo crates every time you run past one, but I really tend to strapping that gun on more power oriented kits like the Human and Quarian Male Engineers.

It also depends on what level your Harrier is - most guns in this game show their real capabilities only if they're at level V and above, when the base ammo capacity, damage and weight have improved significantly. I preferred using my Mattock X over my low-level Harrier until I got that one to level VII just recently.

 

But you're basically right, the Lancer feels much more enjoyable on Plat than the Harrier in general.

 

 

OT: Bioticsplosions!

 

Last game of the night happened to be another Condor-match on Gold, thankfully against Reapers and not Trollectors again.

Awakened Collector, Fury and two Asari Huntresses (one being me wielding the Collector Sniper Rifle) made everything in sight explode in dazzling biotic fireworks!

The only sad thing was the pug firing his six rockets on extraction apparently just to outscore me - what a shame

The Harrier on my PC account is still my lowest level Ultra Rare. But I only need like 6 more URs, so any day now. I want it at X for some Platinum solo work.

I actually just noticed on Platinum some ammo boxes fill you up full in one shot or pretty close (ie. on White it's the only one with one grenade closest to LZ, and well, leaving you most exposed and in a dead end). On Goddess I think it's the ammo box you can take cover against or hop over. For Ghost I think it's again the one nearest LZ. And so on.

It's not a mod, just good old-fashioned cgi.bin editing.  I don't actually use this though, it's freaking ridiculous.

 

And I can't swap DLC mods around either, as my Space Magic isn't as powerful as bauzabauza's.

This isn't bragging ( who am I kidding, yes this is )  ......I havent hit the 200k point mark in a full 11 wave 4 person team game in as long as I can remember...that is, until last night...London / rippaz w my level 10 justicar wielding a mean level 6 disciple......can't remember what  objectives were cuz PTSD is a real thing..just remember I had to do all of them by my-lonesome.....I also remember 15 revive medal by wave 7  ( I can not remember when I ever saw a team die that much....ever...and is there a 20 revive medal? ) ..cuz Im sure I had way more than that.

My last Store purchase (5 million credits in Arsenal Packs) yielded me 4 URs. Yep...thats 1.25 million credit per Ultra Rare. I am not having much success with the store RNG at the moment.

 

It'll probably take me another 200 hours of Platinum games to finish getting full manifest. Hard ask these days with the quality of people playing platinum (more often than not, the team wipes in my experience)...Although the other day was good, managed to complete a few Plat games in the 18-22 minute range.

 

Harrier is now at Lvl3. So, yeah, the Harrier can go stuff it. It brings me no joy.

The map I was on was Glacier. Maybe you're right, and I got a doozy of a map.

Lol. Just wiped on a game with two noob pugs. Wave 10 devices. Hazard-Giant Cerberus Gold. I got trapped in a corner with two phantoms and synced after disabling one of the devices. I was Lvl 13 Batarian Vanguard. Not quite able to stagger phantoms yet.

 

So what do they do back in the lobby? A high ranked guy enters the 4th spot as a Krogan Vanguard, and the host noob put the difficulty up to Platinum.

 

...And they both go Juggernauts with no consumables.

 

I left (in a hurry).
