I'll give you one picture.

 

 

My fat Tsent had to carry these scrubs through a Collector raid on Reactor(not sure why it says Jade) and man, it was just slightly exhausting. Good thing I hosted(and even then, there were lag spikes), or this match would have ended much sooner. By the end of it, I was pretty much out of resources, had to finish almost all of the objectives myself and of course, forget about pugs gelling or using missiles(until extraction, of course... then let 'em rip!), because that handsome turian seems to be doing such a fine job anyway.

 

Closest I ever got to 200k, me think, so there's that.

Ack that. It was bad yesterday. First I imagined some kid playing on a wifi connection with his sister on youtube on the same tethered mobile device and I invented new unspoken swear words each time the centurion was reappearing away from where I aimed. But now that you say it - it was probably the mass effect servers again, running over capacity.
Daily Max players for this month :
recall that in March it was daily max between 800 - and 1363 (1363 before that Andromeda delay was announced). A quarter later its avg +16% more Traffic. Surprisingly.

Really cool tidbit there. Props. I have wondered what the playerbase looks like these days.

Joined somebody hosting a Husk mod with super fast moving Juggernauts with GPR's, possessed a-bombs everywhere, total clusterf**k, so many that the engine couldn't process that many enemies 

 

We extracted though.

So when will they liquidate ME3mp servers?  I am guessing just after MEA MP comes out.  Many people will go over there anyways but if MEA is not as good as me3 I would think that BioWeare will nudge people over there by shutting down mp servers.

My understanding is that the site here will continue to operate as a beta test site, as reported by several media outlets.

 

It will probably no longer be accessible by any normal means, so old links will either break, or get redirected to an error page.

 

Technically, the announcement is independent of anything related to the ME 3 servers, although that doesn't really mean much more than any decisions about those servers won't be directly related to this one.

 

The developers believed that the servers would be running for years after support, and other EA servers have generally stayed up quite a bit longer than 4-5 years for games being actively played (although there are exceptions.)

Sorry, that was basically the discovery of PBS YooToob series "Space-Time" resulting in me watching 21 hours of physics lectures over the last three days, simmered with years of unresolved confusion over nonsensical star trek and battlestar galactica technobabble, and seasoned with recent mild trauma over BSN evaporation.
