*****Your last Pug in one word*****

Have played 10 pugs in last two days. 8 disconnects, and one escort drone that disappeared and timer ran out.
Finally played one game to extraction today- although it was laggy, I was a Bat Brawler and took out my frustrations by punching Primes in the nuts over and over until they explode. Made me feel a bit better.

Condor/Reapers/Gold. Started the game with three people, one DC'd as the match started, then the host got ****ed up and ragequit, leaving me to solo the game as a level 12 GI. The real kicker is that, somehow, nobody else joined over the course of the next 110 minutes. Full extraction, but man was I pissed. At lease I have my LW banner now...

Can't play a pug match without someone running all over glacier, goofing up the spawns and getting marauder gang-bangs and brutes continually dropping in behind the rest of the team.

Now that's a fantastic way to do a gold solo. Congrats on the new banner

Thanks. I really don't want to do that again, though. Solos are boring as hell.cato_84 wrote...

A couple of months ago, I would have described it as "extremely frustrating". Now it's becoming the norm. My lobby fills up with N7s below 100 looking to leech. Game lasts 35 minutes. I have no choice but to use my most powerful character setup. The rest of my teammates end up with a combined score of 100k...on U/U/P. Why do I still play this game?

I think you play with randoms too often XFG, that's bound to get frustrating - especially on Platinum. Playing with friends is a lot more enjoyable, even if you're forced into playing duo's because your pals are OP.

I actually really like playing with randoms too but I've not tried it very much on Platinum. I imagine that could get quite annoying for those who can't carry games with their eyes closed, TMB.

'Sigh' I have no choice really cato. I feel really inadequate when I play with good players anyway which is why I often leave lobbies quite quickly...I know it sounds silly, but I just play significantly better when playing alongside random pugs, which is why I avoid playing with good people...it always turns out quite badly for me. Plus, I don't know anyone who plays as much as I do so even if I find people to play with, they eventually have to sign off...but not me.
On a happier note - my last pug was great. I had a couple of grenade users join my lobby so I set it to Jade reapers, I only needed 200k xp so no need for U/U/P, I was in the mood for an easy platinum game. And what an easy game it turned out to be. Playing with strong teammates makes a huge difference.

You know, this makes no sense at all. You don't like to play with "really skilled" players because you feel inept. Yet you complain about Platinum PUGs. Do you realize you sound like a total hypocrite? Who knows if you wern't such a douche to good players you may actually have a good time. Because it sounds like to me the only thing that matters is topping the scoreboard.

You're being quite rude...once again. I've been reporting all your posts, hopefully they'll do something about that. I never said I didn't like playing with good players, I just avoid it because 99.9% of the time I end up playing really badly. I know I've been saying how much I hate pugs, yet I avoid arranging games with people...I dunno really. Until I get good, I'll probably just continue pugging.

Your attempts to act civil on these forums are baffling. Remember what you said to me yesterday after you kicked me from your lobby? Yea....

Three straight Platinum PUG's, first preset to Collectors, the next two UUP. Each one very smooth (20:50 Hydra/Cerberus/Plat PUG with no communication or spawn nuking?) with everyone doing objectives and reviving.
Dunno if they're BSN'ers, but big thanks to RustGeth, pt52 and GarbageHunter.

I haven't played any gold for a couple of weeks. Just played two gold PUGs with the same team. They went better than most silver matches I've played for a while. Thanks, N7-cpt_kid, Komrade_Kaos, and Spam_Doc.

I usually place 3rd or 4th in Gold. When I have almost double the points of the second place player by mid wave 4, that is a very bad sign. I'm not sure how we managed it, but we actually got a partial extraction. With the only dead guy being the puggernaut who tried to hold the Glacier extraction zone on wave 11. Not a good place to hold solo. Especially against reapers.

Collectors/Condor though, so I never expected much even going into the game, let alone actually completing it.
However, it was funny watching a single Praetorian go around and sync kill everyone. I don't think I've ever seen that once - ever. I can't fully complain about it though, I'm still getting used to the controls for PC, looks like more work to be done tomorrow!

Not really, my preferred setting is gold pug. It makes the game more interesting.

Me and my friend had N7 17 puggernaut join us in U/U/P (game in progress). They had their one and only rare weapon with them: geth pulse rifle 1... This happens way too often in platinum games these days and is starting to annoy me.
