Your loss.

I almost never buy new. The last console game I bought new at full price was ME3.

So how does it compare to the ps4 techwise?

Probably a few gadget sites will compare/contrast soon, if they haven't already.

PS4 is better. Uses, 8 GB DDR5 Ram- xbox uses DDR3. PS4 runs 8 cores at 2.8 GHz, Xbox runs 8 at 1.6GHz.
So at the very least the PS4 will be faster right outta the box. That's a fact.

Will PS4 rekindle your relationship with your TV? Bring the magic of television back to the living room? No? Than the Xbox One is the superior console.

Yes, the relationship with my tv has been in trouble for quite some time, hopefully the xbox one can bring us togeather again.

(the biggest problem people have with a lack of ability to play games on other systems is you can't play with your friends unless you want to carry your console with you everywhere you go(or unless you both have internet(which implies that you can only be social if you have the internet(which is a great shame, shame on Microsoft for sending that message))))

Good News! Xbox One (Kind of) Doesn't Require Internet Connection (Maybe)

No,  they just blew it badly.  E3 won't matter.

Righhhhhhhhhhhtttttttttttttttt <_<   Not sure if trolling or just... wow!

Guess we can write off the next six months of announcements then.  Sony won with their reveal which showed a controller and a share button...

Yeah, thats another reason why I liked this more than Sony's. Though Sony was smart with that- they'll show the console at E3 and it'll be a huge attention grabber.

Its the same reason why Microsoft is saving the games for E3. Thats when you really want to show people what they want to see.

Yeah,  because "But look!  Here are the same games on the other systems!" is going to sway people over to buying an X-box.

Go look at those stock charts,  even Wall Street knows MS is screwed with the X-box.

Xbox One - Now with dogs

I somehow missed the only thing that was interesting about this reveal, Quantum Break. Oh well, E3 it is. It does sort of make me consider PC gaming in the future. The PS4 certainly sounds more promising by comparison at this point for me.

So in the end Xbox One will be like Steam with monthly fees, limited hardware and much more expensive.

My sides.

Finally some answers. So now it's up the the developer of the indivdual games, and having to wait for the actually games this tells me nothing of the console being worth the investment.

I suppose the best advice is this: don't buy any next-gen console at launch.

I live in Ireland and I'm 100% sure I won't see 75% of that stuff on the xbox one, you should see our netflix for instance its rubbish.

Launch model consoles are always the ones to avoid since they're pretty much guaranteed to have higher failure rates than the newer generations.
