But anyway, back to the Xbox One. I'm VERY interested in what the 15 exclusives are, especially the 8 new IPs.

Hoping one of those exclusives is Fable IV, not MMO style but as a pure single player return to form, improving over Fable III since I felt it wasn't as good as Fables I and II which were both pretty awesome.

I am so conflicted in my opinion of Fable 2, but i'll be damned if Fable 3 wasn't the casual game on the planet.

I haven't gotten a chance to watch the reveal but from what I gather it was just as lame as the PS4 reveal, nothing to do about games, more Kinect, and something about packs of German Shepards ripping off your limbs, is this accurate?

It looks like a fusion of the first Xbox and the first PS2, resulting in a shoe box wtf.

Peter Molyneux just called The Xbox One "a mutant horse"(not in an insulting manner, but a joking manner) because at its earliest development, they wanted there to be two consoles, one for core gamers and one for everyone else, but when they realized they couldn't feasibly do this without having too much of a loss in funding, they decided to join the two together.

Fable 3 was pretty casual, yeah. But I still enjoyed it, to a point. Fable 2 I enjoyed much more.

Honestly, I think for Fable IV to be interesting it needs to bring the series back to its Fable 1 and 2 days.

I'm gutted it's not compatible with 360 games, on the plus side its better tech, but I'll miss my old 360 games when my 360 dies (they have such an awful lifespan)

It isn't that hard to figure out that MS was going for a "simple and contemporary" design when making X1 and the kinect, not that that's bad.

It seriously was terrible and an insult to the Metroid franchise as a whole. The only good thing I can say about it is that it had next to no bugs or glitches. That's it.

I don't mind its appearance. It shocked me at first, and then I moved on. So will everyone else.

Seems more like an attempt to hide the fact that you own a gaming console so people who are embarassed can hide it with their other hardware.

I do wish there was a market for these guys to continue producing older consoles on the side. Guess it's not as easy as a DVD player, though.

Now that I've had time to think about it, the thing that really bothered me is this whole thing of integration with TV that will not properly work anywhere outside of the USA.

The whole presentation was heavily "americancentric" while the Sony one relied on the idenfication of a worldwide fanbase with PlayStation and their games.
