The info floating around the net at moment is making me reconsider the whole console thing to being with. Here's hoping it's just rumors.
PC gaming sounds awesome as hell but I just can't get use to the Keyboard and mouse, and not every PC game supports gamepad alternatives.

I'm fairly used to it, I started out on PC before swithcing to console. Controllers were foreign to me. "How the hell am I going to pull this off with anything less than 20 buttons and without keymapping?"MegaSovereign wrote...

I'm just hoping we see something from BioWare tomorrow.
Same here. An appearance by devs is speculated.

Heh, strictly being brought up on consoles, i actually feel quite the opposite about PC gaming in general. I look at 20+ buttons and goGreylycantrope wrote...

I was brought up on Nintendo/Sega consoles. I started playing PC games when I was around 10 or 11 years old. I got used to it.breakdown71289 wrote...

Everything will eventually go completely digital like Steam.HiddenInWar wrote...
Also, is the "elimination of disc and replacement with downloading" a real rumour? If so I hope not, because going to a retailer to pick up the latest games has been a staple of growing up for me.

Maybe the next gen consoles will be mod friendly, Wishful thinking I know
Its not the consoles that aren't mod friendly, its the companies that own them. As for the big reveal, I'm going to watch it as I want an answer to the always online question. It will probably be a waste of time as I expect MS to be a vague as possible with the always online crap. I do have a shred of hope though. If EA can come right out and say the Sims 4 will not be always on maybe Microsoft can do the same.

I think FIFA is popular in Europe.
And this is true. Fifa sells almost as much as CoD.

Price will be 500 dollars for top end model (there will be 2 models).
I bet, I'm right on at least half of these things.

Secondly, exclusives. This is personal preference, obviously, but I like to game with keyboard and mouse unless the game is more suited for gamepad on console OR the game is an exclusive.
The only games I ever played on 360 and the PS3 were console exclusives so if they show enough exclusives on new and existing franchises that isn't COD or FIFA, I might consider getting it though probably not at release. That, and they need a reasonable starting price and shoot down some of the negative rumors surrounding the console, if they are just rumors.
But tbh, the only games I ever really played on the 360 were some Gears of War and Forza. I've probably bought maybe 7 games on the 360 compared to maybe 24 for my PS3.

As far as I know, that rumor is linked to Stingray... a re-launched 360 that won't have a disc player.HiddenInWar wrote...
