The rings in general were lost when the 360 Slim came out- after that IF something went wrong(which pretty much never happened by that point) it was a red dot.

I don't understand why they can't just implement a 360 emulator. You can play two next gen games _simultaneously_ so it's not a hardware issue. Maybe they have something planned down the line. Not being able to play DAO or DA2, or any XBLA title on One seems lazy.

Not really, at least in my opinion. I'd think that by now people would want to move on to greener pastures.

Of course, but this is just convinience. People like playing, even double-dipping on old games; re-releases and virtual consoles are a testament to that. I'll keep my old 360 and hope the disc drive doesn't get too rigid while it's in storage... otherwise, time to double dip on another 360!

To have access to television channels without a dedicated receiver, it'll likely need an in-port dedicated to a cable source .  Perhaps that's the answer.

During the reveal it was said that you'll be able to play two next gen games at the same time: albeit instant switching over, like a HD movie, live TV, etc
