Then Fable 3 went even further down that scale and totally borked everything.

I disagree with everything you just said, though I can understand not thinking Fable III was great.

I thought it was okay. Parts of it got on my nerves. Hoping Fable IV gets rid of the garbage and brings back the magic that Fable I and II had.

MLP: FiM game I would not touch with a 10 foot pole

Fable is dead and should stay dead after the atrocity that was Fable 3. They'd be better off w/ new IP rather than raping that dead horse.

Only games I am looking forward for next gen would be... maybe the next Fallout or maybe-er Mass Effect?
