Simple- don't buy used games. Easy for me to say though since I never do under any circumstances.

I actually avoided picking up The Witcher 2 at my local Gamestop because I missed the last new copy by 45 minutes and all that was left was a single used one, which my friend who works there refused to sell me even if I wanted it because it was scratched to hell.

I agreed with him- off to Amazon I went and bought it new. No regrets.

On that subject, I still need to play my Iorveth playthrough...

You are missing the point, the majority of the games I have bought is because I have rented them decided I like them and bought them.

Whats the point of not having always online, if the games require you to register them to play.

I do not like how this console generation is shaping up.

Yeah, I don't rent titles either. Hearsay and watching reviews/playthroughs is how I gauge if I want to play a game thats already out.

It works to my favor 90% of the time, the rest of the time I end up going "eww" and give up.

no but if you have mutiple console you are screwed.

Your brother can still play your game on your console, just not a different console.

Can't wait to hear their solution to purchasing and trading used games, and how they'll transfer (?) ownership of that specific disc.

Not yet, I think too many people are still looking at rumors as if they are facts.

There needs to be cited sources for anything put out there as guaranteed.
