I think you know what the problem is just as well as I do. You have not used me to order Pizza Hut.

Yeah, my internet is reliable as well. My console is technically always online anyway, so I was never part of the fuss.
I wish my internet was reliable.
It tends to want to throw fits for days at a time while I beg the cable guy to help me.
My online connection for my 360 has gone down randomly extremely rarely over the years I've had it, and the few times I can remember it happening, it was due to losing all power down the street.
Still, there are those that don't have such reliable internettyness so we should think of them.
Yep mine wants to go down...whenever (also late reply was late but I had to leave work).
Yes you should think of the little guys.

You Will Be Able To Trade Xbox One Games Online, Microsoft Says
So.. what? They are going to have a virtual Gamestop on there? That could mean a lot of things.
Not sure if want....
And yeah it seems like being an unnecessary middle man.

I have a laptop. So I can't upgrade.
Laptop gaming is like having access to the best public library in world but your reading glasses are broken.
Only if you have a lame laptop - mine isn't.

Bobo: *Menacingly walks towards the XboxOne and crouches beside the off button.*
XboxOne: "Stop. Stop. Please stop. Really, I'm feeling much better now. Stop please, I'm scared."

In preparing the big reveal for the next Xbox, it seems Microsoft forgot all about how the current one works, because reports from Twitter show that a lot of people ran into problems today when they tried to watch the show on their Xbox 360.
It seems that for some folks, every time an executive said something like "Xbox" or "Xbox Live", those with a Kinect experienced issues like having the stream paused or being kicked out of it altogether, because they're the same terms the peripheral uses for its voice commands.
lmao fail.

1) Which of the X1's features will be region-specific and specific to which countries? After all, I don't care if I can send the X1 to collect rock samples to Mars if it's limited to the US, Canada and the UK.
2) Tied to the above point. The X1 is, essentially, a non-upgradeable PC with an online store similar to Steam. Will we be able to purchase titles from anywhere in the world? Will there be sales? How will the store work?
3) The X1 is, essentially, a non-upgradeable PC with an online store similar to Steam. Why should I buy it then? Will there be game exclusives, as in, "unless you buy this console you'll never be able to play this game" exclusives? Because, to be honest, that's the only reason I can see for why a person would favour a console over the PC, especially now that the ability to play a game from the disc has been stripped away from consoles.
4) The X1 is, essentially, a non-upgradeable PC with an online store similar to Steam. This is also applicable to the PS4. Both Sony and Microsoft have decided to focus on a PC-like architecture for their next-gen consoles. This should make devs happy since it'll probably be easier to develop games under a single, similar, framework. My question is, can we multi-platform? Could you, for instance, buy a game on Steam and play it on the X1 or the PS4 and viceversa? From a technological standpoint, would this be possible?
5) One of the advantages consoles had was that you were always assured you could play a console game whereas PC gaming was tied, more often than not, to your rig. As a PC gamer myself I often checked a game's specs to see if I could play it on my PC. However, since now both the PS4 and the X1 are, essentially, non-upgradeable PCs stuck in a particular moment in time, doesn't that mean that gamers will be able to play any game for the next "decade" so long as their rig is similar to the X1 or the PS4? If so, this leads me to the question in 3).
6) (Apparently already answered) Will I need to be online to play games? Which of the console's features require me to be "always-on"?
7) So, there will be no backwards compatibility. Will we still be able to play 360 games anyway by downloading them from the store or something? If so, will we need to re-purchase them?
8) Which of the console's features are tied to subscription fees? I suppose the answer's obvious but still, will multiplayer remain subscription-locked?
9) If the console won't work without Kinect, what happens if Kinect isn't working properly or simply breaks down? Does that mean I won't be able to play any game, even those that don't require Kinect?
10) Another one that should be obvious but still, better safe than sorry. Will games be tied to a user's Xbox Live Account or to the console itself, thus allowing multiple accounts (on that console) to play the game?
11) Not really a question, more of a confirmation. Discs are now, essentially, a paperweight since they come with a single-use activation code rendering trading useless. If you lend a game to a friend, s/he will still have to pay full price in order to play it.
Those are the ones I can think of now.

I told my mom about the Xbox One and asked her if she was at all interested in getting one for herself(just to see if their strategy is working).
She said maybe, she has to see it first.
