Honestly though, my views on a console isn't really the hardware specs. If they can deliver on high quality games, more so exclusives, then I'll be proud to be an Xbox owner, but as of right now - Halo won't cut it for me, personally.

E3 is for you.

Second hand games explained a bit more coherently, no fee for playing a game at a friends house. If you sign in on your account.

Won't they be the same PC games? Unless they're exclusives, naturally.

The lack of gaming content at the reveal is a legitimate criticism.

The always(sort of)-online requirement is a legitimate criticism.  Although, their direction on this is explainable.  Still a major pain in the ass.

However, this outrage over a fee for used games is ridiculous.  Take Angry Joe's rant in the link on the last page.  He's raging about not being able to lend a game to a friend and seems to think his friend is entitled to play that game for free.  Sorry Joe, you're great and everything, but you're wrong on this.  We were getting a free pass on this issue.  No more.  Microsoft is protecting itself, and frankly, the belief that your friend is entitled to play that game you yourself bought is absurd.

I would like to see this fee waived for retailers of used-games however.  But that would also require the original owner remove the software from their X1 and I'm not sure they've implemented any such process.

You know I never really thought there would be a stupider console name then Wii U... but I was so sooo wrong.

I think "Wii U" is stupider sounding, but "Xbox One" wins at being uninteresting.

50 pages in one day? Is this a BSN record?

I knew Microsoft's reveal would be bad...but this bad? Lolololololol! What an utter joke and a half! Let's see...a glorified cable box with a dumb name, or a powerful gaming console with a GDDR5 graphics card? Switching to Sony ultra reaffirmed. No brainer. What a lame, cheesy and pathetic hunk of garbage. Microsoft cares about you, a core gamer, about as much as their middle finger and good ole Adam Orth.

I have every right in the world to tell Microsoft where to shove it. I share my games with my cousins and not being able to do that is a deal breaker.

Wait, did people not know that?

There have been conflicting reports on the issue, eurogamer itself had to update the story three times before this clarification and they're not the only media outlet.

Also the PR begins now. You've got a few weeks before E3, microsoft. I'd like quite a few of these potentio scenario to not be realized.

I'm pretty sure the Fenris thread blasted into the stars at least that quickly. Back when they were still calling him MEG because they didn't even know his name.

So explaining what we already knew. Anyone who was paying attention anyway. Thanks for confirming that anyone who uses a seperate gamertag has to pay to play.

Ha, if we give it any further thought, we might end up realising they've neither confirmed nor denied anything in this"reveal."

Oh okay, it said that on the first article I read today. I didn't know there were conflicting reports.

Utimately, I think people should give them until E3 before making up their minds. This might not be so bad. Just imagine Steam type sales for the consoles. You can't get deals like that from Gamestop or other sales. Since they seem to be pushing for a digital sales market, they might as well use ideas for it that work.

I know Limbo isn't exclusive, but I hope Mircrosoft, or any console really catches onto the "indie" market and help talented developers the freedom they need. Look at the PS3 and Journey/Flower/Fl0w, great examples. Bastion is multi-platform if I'm correct right?
