Besides from the creepy factor, I'm actually looking forward to the improved kinect. Ever since Star Wars kinect I've been longing for a game like that that actually works. Functioning lightsaber battles or wizard duels (think Harry Potter meets Mortal Kombat!) would be awesome.

Besides from that I say what I always have said. PC > all consoles.

Look at it this way...

You'll pay top prices for a game on the Xbox One, lets say $60. This $60 gives you permission to play the game while your console can check in with the Xbox One DRM servers.

At this end of the console lifecycle of the Xbox One, Microsoft decide to sunset the DRM servers. All those games you bought, are gone as the Xbox One can't check in with the DRM servers which have been deactivated. Your Xbox One console and it's gaming collection is completely worthless.

On the plus side the improved controller looks nice. The 360 controller was already the ideal gamepad in my mind so at least they didn't screw that up.

The reveal was certainly quite disappointing But I suppose ultra realistic German Shepherds tearing out your throat is a plus.
